Hi Everyone - I'm new to the Forum and would really appreciate any suggestions on this situation. Thanks! I'm experienced in modding Skyrim, but I'm stumped here with SSE. Please let me know if any further information can help. In comparison with heavily modded Oldrim (running very smooth), my modded SSE runs at 1/2 the FPS (with stutter). I'm assuming there are adjustments I can make to my PC because SSE utilizes 1/2 the RAM of Oldrim while doubling the % of GPU. Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated. hi guys i really need help with a problem so i have skyrim installed with around 160 mods. i was playing it yesterday with 60 fps (besides some fps drops to around 50 in foggy areas) so today morning i started playing again and i had really hard fps drop to around 30 and it could barely get 60. so i was frustrated and stoped playing it. a few hours later i started it again and it was working perfectly fine (60 fps , no drops) . i stopped playing and started again a few minutes ago and i have the same fps drops again. i dont know where this could come from. i dont have anything that needs much resources running in the background . hope someone can help me EDIT: omg im such an idiot i just realized that i had the asus gpu tweak tool for my graphiccard running on silentmode so it wasnt running at fullspeed.... :D EDIT2 : nevermind . after editing this post and starting skyrim again it started laggin the same way as before... i really dont know whats wrong

As the title suggests, my game seems to go from 60 down to a constant 33-47fps over playtime and only resolves itself when restarting the game and loading back in. When i play games like fallout 4 and skyrim with mods in them my fps is way too low.,...... my PC is very decent so i don't understand it at all, i have a 6 core processor and a Nvidia GTX 980 TI 6gb. WTF?!

Hi I consider my system to be fairly beefy. I'm running the following Intel I7 3770K GTX 980Ti Dell 4K monitor 8GB Ram SSD drive I have installed the FULL version of Realvision + ELFX but I only get 30-35 FPS. I suspect its because I am running the game at the highest res and that my FPS is actually legendary for a 4K monitor at FULL everything but I was wondering if this GTX 980Ti was meant to be a little stronger. My nvidia GTX 750ti 2gb cannot run Skyrim even on vanilla very well without lag. Now i would understand if my gpu simply wasn't enough to run the game, but many people have reported playing vanilla Skyrim at very good frame-rates on ultra with this card, and yet i'm stuck with about 40 fps in most areas on lowest settings. And, in some areas, my gpu usage simply drops for looking at a certain object or building, causing lag. A good example of this is when i go to Bthardamz. If i stand in the nearby camp, and look towards the center of the map, my gpu usage is at about 50% and my frame-rate is around 50fps, whereas if i turn around and look in the direction of Bthardamz, my fps drops off to about 15fps, and my gpu usage drops to 20%. Any help would be really appreciated. :-)

So I don't know why, but when I installed ENB on my Skyrim and launched the game I already get very bad performance on main menu until it raises up to 30fps. when I launch new game the loading time is very long and when ingame the fps is 60fps but when i look around or open racemenu I get huge lagging the screen freezes for 1-2sec. Anybody have any idea what is going on with Skyrim? First time this has happened to me and never had this issue either. specs: gtx970 8gb ram intel xeon 1230v3 3,3ghz

Like the title says I got problems with my ENB. I've never experienced something like this even tho I have modded Skyrim for over 3 years now. So firstly when I launch the game I have low fps like REALLY low fps on main menu until it starts to bump up to 60fps which isn't normal at all. Secondly when I create new game or load existing character the loading screen either keep loading infinite or in some point starts the game normally, but with a lot of lag. I have installed infinite loading screen mod, but it is useless. I might add my specs here now: GTX970 8gb ram intel xeon 1230v3 3,3ghz boosted 3,7ghz Skyrim is installed on 256gb solid state drive Couple days ago I decided to make fully clean modded Skyrim by uninstalling the game and removing all the installed mods and tweaked ini files. Quick? Question. I am playing on a windows 8.1, 64 bit touch screen pc. I have 4.00 GB RAM, Intel ® Pentium Cpu G2030 @3.00 GHz. I run a lot of mods, Loot, SKSE, NMM.Many Optimization Mods, and have watched and followed Gophers vids to the best to my abilities. It all runs great except the fps won't go above 10-15. What do I need to (Cheaply) upgrade to get better experience.

Hey guys. So I have a.. lot of mods and I decided to start playing again recently and noticed that my fps was pretty low for my computer, gtx 760, fx 4100 (I know it's bottlecapping), 8gb ram (with 4gb mod). I got drops to 10fps when looking at npc's, 20 when looking at complex geometry (towns, trees, etc) and my max was 37fps looking at the sky. So after a long, long time messing with my .ini's and other performance tweaks and fixes I eventually just tried disabling all my mods and seeing if a clean game will fix it. I got about 40-70fps and that's with an enb, without 4gb mod. I saw similar thread but it's a gtx 980. And it was 6 months old thread. EDIT:Wait a minute, did i post this in the wrong sub forum??? (I play on 1080p,ultra) I clean install skyrim,then proceed To mod them right away,before i played it. I installed realvision enb,some heavy textures mod,paralax and graphics overhaul (like roads,lightning) Exactly the same issue,when i see the mountains outside whiterun, i get low fps,so i disable mod one by one,the weird things, i dont see any significant fps gain only 3-6 fps,i become suspicious ,so i turned off all the mod and,play vanilla skyrim. (yes,i delete the skyrim.ini and skyrimpref.ini after Uninstalling all mods) And I get 32-28 fps. But in dungeon, when not looking on demanding view spot, it's 60 fps.(this is without mods at all) I just couldn't make a sense about this. I mean i can play shadow of mordor ultra easily, i even crosscheck,compare the fps benchmark on Internet, and i have the same,if not, higher fps.avg 75 fps I can also play the witcher 2 enhanced edition, ultra easily,35-45 fps,with ubersampling on of course. Hi, I've been working with wrapper version ENB (2.54 Binaries/5.0 ENBoost) along with HiAlgo Boost v2.3. I am no newbie to modding, or .ini configs, but I'm not 100% on the mechanics of these individual programs. My problem is occurs after I install ENB+ENBoost and then install/activate HiAlgo Boost. I run around 45-50 fps with SFO, Pure Waters, and Skyrim Bigger Trees (the sole mods I am running)... However when I activate Hialgo Boost, my FPS drop to damn near 0.. As I said I'm not trying to sound like a dumbass, but I am clueless with these two programs. I am simply trying to bump my FPS to the 55-60 range. If anyone could offer me insight to why I am dropping off the FPS cliff with HiAlgo installed, I would greatly appreciate it. My specs... I had a lot of skyrim script lag before I added these lines to my skyrim.ini [Papyrus] fUpdateBudgetMS=800 fExtraTaskletBudgetMS=800 fPostLoadUpdateTimeMS=2000 iMinMemoryPageSize=256 iMaxMemoryPageSize=512 iMaxAllocatedMemoryBytes=2457600 Now the scripts run perfectly, but I have about 7-15 fps at all times. I played around with the numbers, and my fps is now stuck at 12-18, mostly at 15 fps, and reducing the numbers further creates script lag again. It is playable, but very annoying. I can always revert my fps back to 60, but that would mean going back on the changes made to my skyrim.ini and having crazy script lag again. Can somebody please tell me if they know a way how to increase skyrim fps or decrease script lag in another way that doesn't involve costing so many frames per second? Many thanks. I should also add that I am having crazy freezes every time I enter a new area (approx. every 200 meters). My screen freezes for about 10-15 seconds. I never get any crashes or anything of that sort however. Just low fps and crazy stuttering.

A few guys in the youtube comments said i should come here for help so here I am. :smile: So first of all, my specs: I7 4770k 3.5 Hz Gtx 780 16 Gb RAM Installed on a regular hard drive (also tried on SSD without any difference) I did a clean install just now, deleted all my old mods, saves etc. Installed the ENB files. Downloaded Realvision ENB autoinstaller. Followed it to the point. Start up Skyrim, aaaaaaand > 20 fps.... Yeah I have no idea really. Any tips are appreciated!

Im having many problems and need help fixing. Its mostly just that im getting CTD or freezes at random spots at about 2-10 min into the game. I've been working at this for quite a few hours now and I still have not come up with a fix. Also i feel like my system should be running 60 fps on at least high settings because optimized is ultra high but im bary getting 30-40 on med on the lowest settings i get 60 but any higher i get 30-40. But i can tell you right now that everything looks fine, VRAM never goes about 1.4k, Ram never goes about 2.6k, fps stable at around 30-40 cept when it freezes/ctd. The only concerning thing is the Temp gets pretty high but stablises, and the GPU is always at 99% but its always been like that since i started the game. CPU averages about 25%, threads are about 40...

I have a core i5 2550k and a gtx 760 with 4gb of ram and 8gb of system ram and no matter what settings i have the game is stuck at 27-32 fps I have no mods and it is a fresh install as when i had mods on my old game it ran at 15 fps with the 4gb loader installed can't figure out what the problem is the cpu is only at around 30-40% and the ram never goes above 2.4 for the whole system its like 740mb for the game alone

Sup, /n/. 18lv kun in touch. This sh!t laggs. With no-mods and lowest settings FPS is 20-28. For comparison. BF4 on ultra gives 50FPS. Wtf? Cant understand how this sh!t can give such low fps. It has 2006 graphics. On 2010 non-gaming laptop fps was 60 on ultra. On my MSI it is 25 on lowest. Comments as "update drivers @ reinstall windows" not needed.

So after wearing Skyrim down to the point of no return, I decided to re-install Oblivion on my machine, assuming that it should run flawlessly. I was wrong. Performance isn't always an issue. Generally I will get 60+ fps in the wilderness and well over 100 fps, sometimes 300+, in interiors. The problem happens in locations like Anvil Docks, Imperial City Waterfront, or in almost all cities where my fps drops to around 20 - 25 frames. I've tried lowering all the graphical settings including disabling distant land and shadows entirely which only results in about 3 fps gain. I've toggled between shader model versions via the Oblivion.ini and RendererInfo.txt and forced the various shader packs with very minimal performance impact (1-3 fps). What has me perplexed is after monitoring my system during gameplay via task manager/gpu-z, none of my hardware is anywhere near maxing out and all temps are in the 30-35 C range. Unless FSB throughput is the bottleneck, I have no idea. CPU (Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 @ 2.4GHz) - 30% max RAM (DDR2 800MHz) - 2.5 / 5 GB GPU (AMD Radeon r7 260x 2GB) - 21% max HDD (2 7200rpm sata HDDs in raid 0) - 8% max Chipset (Nforce 650i) My load order is only the DLC and unofficial patches. OBSE running with Oblivion Stutter Remover using default settings. (As they don't make much difference for me either) Streamline doesn't benefit me either, I assume because none of the graphic settings help. All drivers are most recent versions as well. EDIT: All 4 cores seem to be active as they all peak at around 30% EDIT 2: It seems that the main drop is when bUseWaterReflectionsStatic is enabled. Are the reflections rendered on the CPU? If so I'd assume I'm just SOL on that one. If anyone can help me, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks!

I'm using an enb for the first time and finally have everything set up alright, except my fps is awfully low. During the opening scene in the carriage my fps was at least 42+. Then when entering the town my fps began to drop and fluctuate from 24 to 16, sometimes hitting the low thirties. During the execution I was at 10-15fps, it was in the high teens until I got into the dungeon where our bindings get cut off (save for the part where your screen blurs a bit after getting up, then it was 42-30). Inside my fps kept fluctuating between 35 and 15. I stayed in the main area before looking in the chest walking around looking straight ahead while this happened. When i opened the chest the fps kept in the low 10's, then after finding the first enemies the fps stays at 10. I don't think my laptop is that bad where the fps has to hit 10 here (every other game is run on near max or ultra settings with little issues) I'm really fixated on this cause I used to run a ton of mods with little issue without the enb (I'm testing the enb with a few mods not everything). Do I have to ditch the whole prospect of having an enb? Is there an enb that isnt so taxing? I've also uploaded my esp list. I have a problem; I'm running Fallout: New Vegas on a GTX 1070, i7 4790K and I'm only getting 25-30 FPS with my mods + ENB. Is this normal? I'm using Blackout ENB, NVSE, New Vegas Stutter Remover, NVAC, 4gb launcher, etc. (I have all the stability/anti-crash mods and tweaks). I have about 25 mods or so; my main graphical mods are NMCs Texture pack Large, with OJO Bueno texture pack Ultra installed over it. I also have Project Reality installed with it. I also have EVE, Project Nevada, WMX, etc. As I said earlier, I am running Blackout ENB wit the SSAO Antialiasing. When Iturn off the enb, the performance is pretty much the same in game than it is turned on. Is my FPS (25 - 30) normal with all these mods (ojo bueno ultra pack, nmc's full, blackout enb, project reality, etc.) with my PC specs? If not, is there a fix? I hate sub-60 FPS. Thanks.

Hi everyone... I'm not new to modding Bethesda games (OB & Skyrim) but I am relatively new to FO4. I have 155 mods according to NMM and more than adequate hardware to run a variety of texture and other performance mods I have installed. The problem is that now I have such low FPS and massive stuttering that my game has gotten unplayable. It wasn't always this way. I remember playing with 35 to 45 fps when I first started my first game, but as it slowly progressed, it has degraded to where it's at an inexplicably low, 1-9 fps today!. And I don't have a clue why this is. I've lowered the resolution, screen size, bought new hardware, tweaked my .ini files without changing my fatally flawed fps range. I've even tried to find answers online but instead found my game's performance is so out of line with other so-called low fps reports, that I'm now asking for help with this as I'm going slowly crazy not being able to play my favorite game. Even with my heavily modded FO4, I would expect to be able to achieve at least 35 - 45 fps from comparisons to other player comments of system descriptions. Therefore, I can only conclude there must be some other critical cause for my distressed performance. I'd appreciate any help anyone can offer. Okay, so let me start with telling you my rig: GTX 1070 i5-6600k (stock) 16GB ram I have about 150 mods installed (only about 30 of them being actual graphic mods), the vividian enb and I get fps drops and stutters all the time when I'm outside or in a city (average being 20-30 most of the time) I get a consistent 60fps in dungeons and caves, tho, so that's good! I actually thought that "Oh yeah, Skyrim is a really poorly optimized game, this is probably just normal" but then I re-watched some good ol' General Sam videos (awesome youtuber, check him out if you haven't already) and I noticed that his game was buttery smooth, even though his game was heavily modded. He could run around in forests, the plains of whiterun, or even fight a boss (thinking of the Ebony Warrior here) OUTSIDE without any frame drops whatsoever. I have the memory patch installed, v-sync on (in nvidia control panel, ini file, prefs file AND enbseries file) I've toned down the shadow quality in the prefs file, and tweaked some other options as well, but nothing seems to be working. So, I guess my question here is, how can his game be so smooth, even with all the mods? And how can I make my game smoother? I have my load order screenshotted, but there's 3 pictures, so I can't post them all. Any help is appreciated, though I think I've tried most of the "fixes" out there.
