  1. You know, Mama Murphy talks about how she killed a Deathclaw once in one shot. I dont think she ever specified what kind of weapon she had, just that it wasnt a minigun and she wasnt in power armour But im thinking, what if the weapon she used was kind of special? Im thinking what would be cool is if it was a single shot breakaction .50 caliber homemade rifle, imagine something like the double barreled shotgun or the single shot shotgun from New Vegas. I could see it having modifications to make it into a pistol, increase the damage, add a scope, so forth so on. Im imagining it really having that homemade look, with a crudely carved grip, barrel tied to it with wire, and the break action would be really simplistic, like just a single screw. Looks like something that would blow up in your face if you really used it, but somehow Mama Murphy used this junky boi to kill one of the Wasteland's greatest killers Now for the meat of it, could have a quest where maybe she sends you to recover it, or just a kind of ambient quest in Quincy where you find out about it and go look for her deathclaw killer based on notes. Could be fun for some fan fiction stuff Oh and to make it larger, the weapon could be used as a base for some other single shot weapons. Maybe an Elephant Gun as a pre-war and fancy version, and a single shot shotgun as a more powerful shotgun for the early game

SO I've been playing a new-ish character for a little bit now, and I've been wearing a player-enabled Mama Murphy hat for most of my playthrough, and I'd like to wear some different hats but I feel as though the earrings have become fairly important to the character. So, naturally, I was wondering if anyone with any sort of modding ability would be able to make a standalone version of Mama Murphy's earrings, as seenn in the pic below: Preferably I'd like them to occupy a headgear slot like glasses, or an entirely new slot if that's even possible, but frankly I'd just like the ability to wear these with any hat. Thanks for your time!
  3. I actually have four mod requests. I realize there isn't much that can be done until GECK comes out. Throwing out ideas for consideration. These are the mods I am praying for. 1) A hair mod with messy dreadlocks? Or just messy hair? I would love to see some really messy hair like in the concept art from Art of Fallout 4, something that would really bring the random npcs and our player character to life. Just about every black woman in the game has a short afro, and it's soooo boring. I want to see women of color (or any women, really) with messy hair that's dreadlocked or half-braided. In fact, a mod that gave random settlers and drifters cool headpieces like Tinker Tom's would really make this look like a post-apocalyptic world where everyone is just strapping on whatever junk they find to survive and most people don't have time to be combing their hair. 2) I'm one of the dorks who love wearing the Vault Suit, so I'd love to see more mods that allow you wear lab coats or jackets or basically an entire wardrobe of different vanilla clothing that can be worn over the vault suit with ballistic weave. Fallout 3 had those vault suits with lab coats. I miss that. 3) The Slog. This is more a bug fix than a mod request. Once you make the Slog a settlement, you're locked out of dialogue with the named npcs. That means you can't access Deidre's store or get Holly's cute tarberry quest. And sometimes Holly doesn't give you the quest at all. 4) Mama Murphy's boring chair. In the Art of Fallout 4, she had Christmas lights and umbrellas on the chair. I'd love to see something like this for her in the game. Tis all.
  4. I'm not sure what is causing this sound on her. It sounds like sizzling or something cooking but the sound is coming on her. I tried uninstalling mods and seeing if that would work, and even verifying the files. I did try going to my old save files before the issue, it worked but then after awhile it came back again.   6. I'm trying to reset Mama Murphy's quest. She gives it to you upon first speaking with her. I told her she shouldn't continue taking chems before I crafted her chair and now I would like to reset it. It's been 2 weeks now and I'm still desperately searching for help as I don't want to continue with the story until it's reset. All I'm asking is for someone to explain to me how I would type some commands and variables into the console o The Information: The quest base ID for Mama Murphy's 'The Sight' quest is EBE71. The FormID for her quest is MQ00MAMAMURPHY. These are the quest objectives: 10 Bring Jet to Mama Murphy 20 Build Mama Murphy's chair in Sanctuary 30 Bring Mentants to Mama Murphy 40 Bring Med-X to Mama Murphy 50 Bring Buffout to Mama Murphy 60 Bring Psycho to Mama Murphy These are the quest stages that I currently have completed: (not set) 80 (not set) 85 (not set) 90 (not set) 200 (not set) 220 (not set) 225 (not set) 230 (not set) 240 (done) 500 (not set) 700 (done) 900 (not set) 1000 (not set) 2000 I clicked on Mama Murphy (her reference is 1a4d8) and typed "ShowQuestVars EBE71." The best case scenario would be having her reset as if I've never spoken to her before and start her quest again but you and I both know that's not going to happen. Thanks to Zeyphir, I found a global variable that allows you to get the special sight information: "set playerknowsthesight to 1/0." However, I would like to know the command to add Mama Murphy's chair to the building menu.
  7. We all like things like curing Father of his cancer or keeping him as a companion, even, having people from the old days too (Project Valkyrie, Curie, Codsworth for the love of...) Much is made of applying medicine more generally and fixing silly moral bottlenecks hardwired in by Bethesda. So my question is this: Why can't you have a healthy Mama Murphy right up to that damn dose of Psycho? Seriously! If you so much as give her that dose of Jet at the start she punks out of being assignable and languishes in a chair. I can understand temporary debilitation, but temporary or at least treatable! She's been shuffling between chems for decades now. The woman knows what she's doing and there's medical wonder out there. In the name of making forced quests into something sensible, I beg thee out there to make Mama murphy's drama truer to form for the Commonwealth!
  8. Gain the ability to craft a minuteman outpost kit at a crafting table, drop the outpost kit (In your misc folder of your pipboy). It spawns 2 minutemen, and a settlement where you can build an entire new settlement in that area. I can understand if this isn't possible. Mysterious Murphy - Replace mysterious stranger model with mama Murphy. Infinity Gauntlet - Weapon that sends out a blast like lorenzo's artifact gun, when an enemy is hit, he says "I'm not feeling so good", and goes into a laser critical. Is found in fort strong (Thanos looks like a super mutant), however infinity stones are spread across wasteland, and it uses action points to fire.
