So my wife and I are playing split screen using the always fantastic split screen mod, and something that really bugs me is the wasted space with the other player's house. It seems like it's necessary to have the house built to allow the other player to join. First off, when we marry our characters, will the game spawn us in the same house; and will we be able to delete the cabin? If not, is there a mod that removes the requirement to have a cabin built for another player to join? Or some way to set the player 2 spawn point to my house so we don't have to keep the cabin?

Hi everyone, I'm currently working on a mod and as part of it I'd like to edit the marriage ceremony. However, I can't find the content file where the marriage event is written (it doesn't seem to be in the general 'Events' folder). Can anyone tell me where I can find the marriage event file so I can edit the marriage scene? Thanks

For roleplay reasons I think it would be cool if I could have npcs marry eachother. A simple spell to set their relation to married wouldn't be too hard to make, but I wonder if it is possible to make a mod like this that also grants new 'married' scripts to the npcs? The former is something I might be able to figure out on my own, but the latter is way outside my modding abilities.

After 3 trigger an extra dialogue option where the dragonborn comments on her saying shy wants to retire since she has a nice thing going on with the Bannered Mare. Hulda: “Well, as much as I love the and having drunks singing and breaking stuff im getting quite tired of it all, mainly the routine of having to be tending to the inn all day and night. DB: -Isnt selling inn is a bit extreme? Hulda: “Maybe so, but im just worn out. All the excitement of running the inn isn't what it used to be, maybe a change of scenery from being cooped up here every day.” DB: -Want to go hunting on the whiterun planes to clear your mind? There are plenty of deer around. Hulda: “Hunting, eh? I don't know, Id be a liability more than anything. Go ask Ysolda to cover for me while we are out and about. Maybe she will realize being an inn keeper isn't all that's made out to be and I have time to give you and answer. DB: -Ill go ask Ysolda. So, I have a few mods for Stardew Valley including Xtardew Valley, SVE, Rideside Village, free love, and a few others. I've been playing the game fine for a year and a half game time. Then I decided I can have multiple spouses so I guess its time for marriage. As soon as I proposed to someone the game barely works but only when I'm in my own house. I can barely do anything since my character freezes and then moves basically across the house. Like I said, Its been over a year in the game and I haven't had an issue and Shane hasn't even moved in with me yet and the game started doing this. This is the second play through where I've had this issue. I can barely save my game because its so hard to get to my bed. If I ever need to get to my chests I'll be in trouble! Does anyone know why this happening and how to fix it? I would really appreciate it, thanks!!

Hey guys, I realize this community is still pretty small so I figured I'd stir up whatever I could with this game. This is a list of Mods I would love to see: - Mods that offer new Head accessories. In particular, more stuff like helmets, hoods, masks, etc. Stuff that isn't so cute and bubbly. Lets face it, the accessories are so bad, the community fix was for a mod to hide all head items. - Mods that give way more outfits as an option to both your MC and the NPCs. I'm talking new model and textures, not just recoloring. - Mods that make changes to Monsters. My thoughts go to Variants or "Shiny" version like Pokemon, that are more of a rare chance encounter. This and any other creative tweaks people could think of to improve their functionality. - MAKE MISASAGI & ELSJE MARRIAGE CANDIDATES!!! That was literally the worst decision the creators of RF5 made. Why make these characters THAT AESTHETIC and not have them be an option?! (This one is my top request. Please for the love of god, someone make this a reality. lol)

Hi all, hopefully this is the right forum for this. I was wondering if there is a way to make "A Serious Wedding - Teldryn Sero" and "Marriage Mod - To Have And To Hold" compatible with each other? Whenever I use them together I get a miscellaneous quest pop up in my log saying "Speak to [...] during reception". It won't go away and it pops no matter which I have after the other in load order. I don't know how to do anything like this or if it is even possible to make a patch for it. I took "A Serious Wedding - Teldryn Sero" because of this issue otherwise I would still be using it and his story quest mod. I put links to both at the bottom if someone would be so kind as to take a look and help me out by making a patch or sending me in the right direction for one it would be much appreciated. Ok, so thereâs obviously a LOT of mods out there that enable the player to have fun killing or otherwise screwing with Nazeem. But I am a bit⦠detail-oriented. So hereâs the idea: Thereâs a mod that involves Nazeem getting busted for tax evasion and imprisoned, and Chilfurrow farm is abandoned, but thatâs not enough. Thereâs also mods that restore wintersand manor and alter ahlam and nazeemâs AI to take advantage of them. I want to be the one who busts Nazeem for tax evasion. I want to be able to buy Chilfurrow Farm as well as Wintersand Manor (on the cheap if Iâm a Thane of Whiterun because they were seized by the Jarl), and I want Ahlam to be happy about her trash husband being removed from her life, and to be available for marriage. And finally, when heâs released from jail (unless it makes sense for him to be executed or held for life), I want his attitude adjusted accordingly. No more holier-than-thou haughty snotty sneering. Maybe use that voice line synth tool or even just fully revoice him so his ego and attitude are reduced to match the tiny, sorry excuse for a man that he really is. The quest doesnât even have to be that complex. Just talk to Proventius (maybe after youâre in the thieveâs guild?), he asks you to look into it, and you take a couple books - a true ledger and a cooked ledger - and hand them over. After that, everything else is taken care of by the guards. Those are the core features. Below are really just little bonus bits that would be nice, but I havenât seen anything like them before, so I donât know how possible they are. Maybe make it so the player can make Chilfurrow farm a profitable business. No tax worries, of course, because theyâll be Thane, but maybe have a chest or a strongbox that respawns some gold, and be able to farm alchemy ingredients with the hearthfire system. Maybe even have the amount of gold tied to how much the planted crops are worth. Of course, if you donât want to marry Ahlam, maybe you could just have her function like a housecarl for Chilfurrow, retaining the income functionality while you let Lydia hold down Breezehome and you get to live like a real Thane in Wintersand.

How has no one requested a marriage mod yet? I mean it can't come without requirements... Theresa should require good standing with the Miller's guild, having completed her courtship, and A Woman's Lot DLC, as well as owning either the Rathaus of Pribyslavitz or Hunting lodge of Talmberg as a player home. Theresa will not live in the Temporary Rathaus as its unfit for married life. The hunting lodge is enough for her but if you move into the Extended Rathaus she'll make a comment about having more than she could have ever dreamed of (if the existing voice files allow) Also you would be required to organize the wedding, picking the church and an officiant (Father Godwin, Father Francis, Father Simon, Father Fabian, available as they have been met). If you sleep with any bathhouse wench or complete a quest involving sex (the courtship of Lady Stephanie, a night of debauchery, etc) you lose the ability to gain the buffs and perks of marriage for a time (about a week). The buffs: Alpha male (for a day after sleeping at home), Smitten (for two days after sleeping at home) The perks: A balanced Diet (active after eating at home, until you eat something not at home) Clean Conscience (sleep at home, active until you sleep with a wench or other woman) Washed Fragrance (Theresa functions as a bathhouse and cleans your clothes including ones not being worn currently in inventory) Hope to see this come to fruition, I am not very skilled at modding, but I do not lack vision.

Hello my brothers and sister's of the nexus, I come to you with a heavy heart I have a selfish request that i can no longer hold in, I have been to end of the interweb for such a thing, and ales i come back with empty wishes. What I ask is wrong I Know marriage is a thing so is a family of 4, i come here today asking anyone that has the power to be could it be possible to make a mod, not so much home wrecker but of a different matter. let me go back some the first time i played stardew valley it was amazing so many great adventures and then i saw her a lonely mother of two and then it hit me. i must seek this women to the end of the earth just for pleasure for pride then he came..... that d*m second year ruined all my great efforts to my goal. but this is what i must ask a simple scenario of leaving in the same heart events 2/4/6/8 but 8 something changes there feeling coming back to her as she remembers Kent the one who left for year and the farmer that is there for her in the time of need and peace and happiness happens Kent get the kids i get Jodi this is what i ask too long have we went along with this fate of dreading year two coming along the time we wish we could just leave the man. As i have stated my heart is heavy writing this request but brothers and sisters of this great website help settle this pain and let us rebuild the future thank and good day.

[LE] Questions about making a follower

So, as a disclaimer, I am fairly new to modding and the creation kit in general but I've at least gotten familiar with creating an npc. What my questions are about however is what I would need to do to go about making an npc with a fully custom (as in recorded by someone else) voice an eligible spouse? I've searched around and haven't found many concrete answers aside from that I'd need to record lines for every dialogue tree relating to marriage. The only issue is that I can't find any guides or resources for doing this or even how to begin with it, so I figured nexus would be a good place to get help. Are there any good tips or references for going about this, any help is greatly appreciated. -
Hello I was trying to creat a Dark Elf NPC to marry my character. Because I am new to creating mods, I followerd Darkfox127 tutorial videos. If it helps, the ones I used were these: Followers Toturial Advanced: Creat a Merchant: First I was just trying to make an NPC for testing, and made her a level 50 follower with magic combat and possible to marry. The followers part worked just fine but when I married her, she was just repeating the she was happy or surprised (something like that, i can't remeber). I thought it was because I had no home in this game and because I only created an homeless NPC. So there was no way to live in my house or her house. After It "worked", I decided to make her an normal level 6 citzen of skyrim, and followed the instructions on the Creat a Merchant video. Now, she's a vendor. It works perfect. Now there is a problem, the vendor dialogue is availabe, she's on the Potent Marriage Faction as she was when I made her a follower, but the dialogue is not availabe. I am using the Amulet of Mara from Riften. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I recently finished my first 2 follower mods, i was wondering if anyone could point me in the direction of a tutorial to add a custom quest and maybe even a marriage quest, anything is appreciated. i have found a few things on this but was looking for a written tutorial

soooo a brief rundown of my situation.... im married to camilla from riverwood i do not want to be married to camilla from riverwood i have met serana and wish to take her hand in marriage instead, the issue being i am married to camilla from riverwood.... you should see where this is going trying to 'divorce' her with console commands does work to an extent, she is 'reset' and moves out and i can marry her again if i wish or just about anybody else - actually go through with a second wedding and such the issue being that serana still believes i have 'someone at home' help

I'm relatively new at modding, and I've been dabbling and experimenting in it for about a week. I came into it, however, wanting one thing. I wanted to take a certain vanilla NPC with a unique voice, and mix up his voice a little to create at least a semi-realistic dialogue branch that would allow my character to marry him. I figured it was possible. There are at least a few mods out there that have done this. I've seen ones for Brynjolf and Cicero, and they're relatively decent, so I know it can be done. I've already gone and extracted his dialogue, converted them into wav. files, tweaked what I could on audacity, converted them back into fuz. files, set the relationship rank and the factions and the disposition, and I've done all of this as carefully as I've could. I really like this guy, so I've been meticulous about not doing anything to screw it up. I've watched and read several tutorials and followed them to the letter too. But it's always the dialogue that intimidates me. What's even worse I've found is that there are TONS of tutorials on how to make custom voiced followers and marriable vanilla-voiced NPCs, but there's jack squat on how to do something like this, and if there are any tutorials out there capable of showing me how to do this step by step, they're either not very helpful, extremely vague, or probably buried somewhere in the shadows of the deep web. What's frustrating is that I KNOW this is possible for reasons I've previously stated. I would try experimenting, but I'm terrified of messing this up. Please, can someone assist me in this dilemma?

So I have this problem. I go thru the steps to get married, buy the amulet of Mara, do the quest for the person, set up the wedding at the temple. It says come back in the morning, come back in the morning, it plays the animation when you walk in to walk to the alter bride is there waiting for me. We go thru the whole ceremony get the rings even then it says Failed: attend you wedding Any idea why this happening? Its not the corpse falling in the temple glitch because I tried the quest even before I got my first follower or took one with me on a quest. Any ideas as to whats wrong, or how to fix this?

Hi, I seem to be having an issue getting the marriage quest to work. I've tried starting a new game, typing in console commands (resetquest relationshipmarriage and a few others) even forcing marriage on npcs with console commands and mods like Relationship Dialogue Overhaul (which i've tried uninstalling to see if it fixes. Nada.) Is it a mod conflict or is there any other way to fix my problem? Here's a list of my installed mods: Thanks for your help. :)

Console marriage fails due to likely the characters having their own separate marriage dialog quest and beyond that I've exhausted my own skills in trying to get them to be recognized by the stock Skyrim marriage system. Any assistance with this request would make me very grateful.

I know that the character in my mod WIP - Crantius Colto, the Bard, was in the game Morrorwind and I reasise that it was at least 200 years ago and no human lives that long. I mean the character in the book, "The Lusty Argonian Maid," and he will be an Imperial Allied. I've decided to make Crantius Colto a descendant of the guy who wrote the play, Crassius Curio. and he'll have the Journal of Crassius, so we can have some story, and Crantius would be a bard who would be singing, "Ragnar the Red," "Age of Aggression," and "Tale of the Tongues," as well as a potential marriage. You can request those three songs from him before marriage, but not after (I wish you could request songs after marriage). A quest might be involved aboit you looking for the Journal of his ancestor, Crassius Curio before you get married. I'm currently working on making him follow you. As a a bard, he won't specialize in combat, but I thought it would be neat to walk with him. I haven't decided who'd have Journal or where it would be. I just wanted to let you know that I revised it and it's still going. He doesn't follow yet, but I'm working on that. I'd appreciate any help.
