  1. The title says it all, can you make a mod so the player can buy the IV fruits for money, it can be quite expensive i dont mind the money.
  2. As many of you might know, merchants and traders refresh their stock after every long rest and every level-up. And personally, I find this to be waaaaay too generous in a game in which its economy is already super forgiving and overtly bloated with a surplus of supplies available at nearly every merchant. Now, I know it's because they don't want players to feel as though they can permanently run out of supplies like arrows, but I think there could be a nerf mod that could de-incentivize buying out and/or pillaging merchants so frequently. The behavior in which that merchants refresh their stock after every long rest and every level-up also makes it so that players looking to optimize will know to almost obsessively check and buy out every available merchants' inventories, turning it quickly into a mind-numbing game of buying/stealing after every such long rest and level-up, meaning you can very easily get enough money and items to go through the entire game comfortably without running out super early on. Of course, it also enables frothing-at-the-mouth hoarders like myself to go on shopping-stealing sprees every time a character levels up or a long rest passes. And, well, as someone who now has well over 200,000 Gold and more scrolls, potions, elixirs, arrows, explosives, and Absolute-knows-what-else than I know what to do with, I can tell you that it's just a massive time-wasting chore that I wholly regret. It's still my first playthrough and I'm only just starting out Act 2, for the record. Getting to the requests, I would love it if there's a mod to be made that makes it so that traders only restock their inventories only after a long rest, as opposed to both every long rest and every level-up. I mean, why is it that they re-stock when I level up? It's not as though a level-up implies any significant passage of time like a long rest does. In addition, I think it'd be great if there's a set of mods that modularly disables what gets restocked. For example, a mod that disables merchants restocking on armors in particular, because seriously, who uses any of that cruddy stuff? Except you, Hide Armor +2. You're lovely. Lastly, perhaps to emulate a hardcore campaign rule, it would be great if there's a mod that makes it so that merchants just don't restock their inventories whatsoever. In other words, a 'What you see is what you get, and that's it' kind of rule. It'd make for a much more scarce playthrough that I think at least some of us would crave! #notstonks
  3. Hello, I have a problem lately that happens when entering the inventory or when selling or buying objects, the game begins to slow down, as if it were a problem that affects the memory of my PC, I do not know if it will be by some mod that I put, but probe remove all the mods and continue with the same, I want to know if someone happened to him and if he could solve it without having to reinstall the game that is what I do not want to do ... hopefully someone can help me thanks ...
  4. I do not know if this because of some mod I have (over 60), When selling huge amounts, (one of the mods is unlimited carry weight) By switching between Shop to Dismantle then back to Shop the merchants funds are replenished. Was wondering if it works for you too? GOG GOTY 1.31 edition. Installed from downloaded .bin files. So no auto updates.
  5. Good morning everybody! Is it possible to set up a vendor that sells certain items cheaper then other items? Usually the game calculates the "purchase value" of items based on the players speech skill (I think), so all items are x % less expensive to buy. Is it possible for a vendor to sell some items at a fixed cheaper price ignoring the players speech skill or any perks that the player has (I think there is a perk that makes buying cheaper)? So like an item has a value of 100 caps and this vendor will sell it for 110 caps, but all other vendors in the game will sell it at the usualy "calculated based off of the players speech" - price. Is this even possible? If so: how?
  6. So, I've taken over an older Mothal city mod from Oldrim and am reworking it for SSE. It was never finished, and I've had to create some NPCs from scratch, although most of the buildings were already there. I've come across several problems I was hoping someone with experience could help me with, since I don't have a clue, despite watching Darkfox's excellent tutorials on youtube several times. Both my blacksmith and my general merchant shout at me, "you're not supposed to be in here" whenever I enter their buildings, at hours when they should be open. Which is strange since they are both added to factions that are for merchants, have AI packages that seem to be working, and I've gotten the timing right. But for some reason, they apparently don't want me in their store! I've made it so that none of the doors lock at any point- mainly because I couldn't find a decent tutorial for NPCs locking doors, and they didn't seem to be working when I tried anyway. So....what gives? I am obviously overlooking something, but I have no idea what! My other NPC is a hunter, and I've given her a schedule that partially involves her going out into the marshes to hunt. She started doing this, but went agro on everyone and killed the mill owner! Also, the combat music started to play when she kept warning me- an innocent bystander, to back off! All of these NPCs have been added to the Morthal faction, and the crime faction, so I can't understand why she is going all aggressive on everyone, especially when they are just doing they're job. I'm wondering if I used the wrong hunting package. If anyone has any insight, I'd appreciate it. Or if you can at least point me to an in-depth tutorial regarding merchants or AI packages, I'd appreciate that. I'm over here pulling my hair out. Thanks!
  7. For example random Ebony Blade at any Blacksmith! about 15x as rare as enchanted weapons
  8. Whether it's Sybille, the blacksmith, or bits n pieces, no one in Solitude will sell to me. Hell even Gisli won't talk to me about her brother. Everyone's "yes?" "need something?". Some people still have dialogue, Sybille will train me, talk to me about the college, about Wolfskull cave, but she won't sell me anything. Most people however, don't have dialogue options at all. It's only solitude, I've tried with many characters, I've tried turning all my mods off and on, and doing the local files thing on steam. I've never really asked for help on a forum before, so I apologize if there are things I'm not doing right. I'm about to gouge out my eyes at this point!! (side note, also no clue how to make skyrim write crash dumps. I've followed every step, they're just not there. Any help for either of these would be very very appreciated!) EDIT: Read the stickie on asking for help. I'm dumb. Here's some info: I'm using skse and NMM! LOOT log:
  9. Hey all I'm having a hell of a time figuring out what Smiling Larry's Vendor Chest ID is. I've been able to find everyone BUT his. A quick reply with it would be very much appreciated. Thanks in advance -tat2teel
  10. I am trying to make a merchant who doesn't sell anything and buys only skooma. Making him not sell anything was easy. The problem is making him buy only skooma, because right now, as skooma is a food vendor item, he will buy food and raw food including skooma. I tried and failed to edit the vendor list, so is their a way to make him buy nothing but skooma?
  11. Hello everyone; before we start, I would like to apologize for my bad English. That said, I would like to know if anyone has encountered a small bug that affects the prices of purchase / sale of items in the game. Here you have some pictures that I have taken for you can compare and see. This is before the bug: And this after the bug: You can clearly see that prices fall enough; Another example are the potions, small sold them $ 12 men and 16 $ to women now buy at $ 8 and $ 10 respectively.I did not realize how much until recently and looking a little seems that the blame is when I installed one of the patches; (The Heartfire if I remember correctly), uninstall the patch for something; I do not remember why, and do not know what could have happened.I thought about starting a load a previous game; but I am half with the minions of the Dawnguard and the oldest is when just killing the first dragon of the game. Can anybody help me? I used the Edit and verify the game cache but nothing works.
  12. Hello, I started modding Skyrim using MO and LOOT a few days ago. I have 49 mods running on a good (gtx970, 8gb RAM, i5 etc.) PC. I will randomly get crashes when choosing "what is for sale" in the merchant dialogue. This happens with vanilla and modded merchants and happens randomly (sometimes it will with a merchant sometimes it wont). The randomness might be a bug when I'm loading the cell, but I'm not sure about it at all really. Load Order: I haven't switched papyrus logs yet but I can if you think it might help.
  13. Howdy, I have become Guild Master of the GoT and completed all the "special jobs", however, only Vanryth Gatharian has opened a shop in the Ragged Flagon Cistern. Arnskar, Herluin and Syndus are not appearing. Any suggestion as to what can be done to spawn them and their shops? Going back to a previous save is not an option (sadly) and I am not looking forward to starting the questline over again. Thanks in advance.
  14. When i first got Skyrim and finished 'No One Escapes from Cidna Mine' I thought there would be more quests for the Forswown and faction dynamics that eventually led to taking over Markarth. Turns out in vanilla the Forsworn still attack you, and theres no quest afterword. The Forsworn in general were a huge let down. They always had this flair to them that made me love them, and want to be part of their society in some way. What I would like to see in a mod or mods is any of the following: QuestsForsworn merchantsFriendly ForswornNamed Forsworn NPC's with dialougeSiege of Markarth and Forsworn ownership of MarkarthForsworn and Markarth guard patrols that fight each otherCraftable Forsworn itemsDifferent Forsworn armor types, IE: heavy and shaman armorI think the Forsworn had alot of potential that Bethesda never took advantage of. I would love to see someone make the Forsworn live up to that potential.
  15. hey guys, I'm wondering if you can give me some advice about a problem I've been having with my mod. for some reason all new merchants I create only sell books! I've created many merchants before, and never had this problem. I've tried everything (I was offline so I had to test it old fashioned) regarding factions, cells, containers etc. There must be something simple I've overlooked. My mod has 27000 downloads so far over on a kinkier skyrim forum, so I'm not a complete noob. If anyone can help me out I'd be incredibly grateful. thanks alot. hydragorgon
  16. Hi. Basically in my play through I'm being an alchemist so I made some custom robes in the CK and they work fine when I used a cheat copy, however when adding it to the game specifically the alchemist in Whiterun Arcadia's chest through the esp of the only other mod that affects her vendor chest she doesn't sell the item however when I open the chest in game the items are there. However she doesn't sell them. I'm confused as to why this is and if anyone could shed some light on this it would be extremely helpful! It's probably something absurdly simple however I'm very inexperienced with the CK so again any help is golden to me, thanks in advance.
  17. Problem Solved. Had to replace the cell and the vendor faction. I'm learning to create NPCs right now, and I am having a problem with a merchant in a shop (which is also her house with her family). I can walk in and she'll greet me with merchant dialogue, but when I look at what she has for sale, the buy/sell window comes up with nothing in it. The merchant has 9 gold and no items. My inventory also does not appear in this window so I cannot sell to her. My belief is that somehow she's not able to access the chest which I've assigned her services faction, but I can't figure out what I've done wrong. Here are the steps I've taken so far: New services faction with vendor options checked, hours of operation, and location. Set list 'Vendormisc' + Not Buy/Sell New chest copied from an existing vendor chest (Grey Pine Goods), with the investor object removed. Chest has been assigned to the services faction and placed in the voidspace in the interior cell for the shop. New character, class set vendorpawnbroker, added jobmerchantfaction, new services faction, town faction, crime faction, and household faction. I have tried making the chest owned by the character, the services faction, or the household faction with no effect. I have tried making the chest a linked reference of and by the character, with no effect. The character's voice type is compatible with vendor dialogue and has demonstrated it. I just cannot gather why the inventory remains empty.
  18. Hello, I started getting a CTD sometimes when I loot bodies, go to a merchant, or open my own cupboards at home. I hadn't installed any new mods when this started happening and I know for sure it's some sort of food. After googling, I found there was a "boar meat" bug and everyone who had this problem also had the unofficial Dragonborn patch installed. I cannot deactivate the patch, though, else my game crashes when I load the main menu. How I know it is a food is that I keep a cupboard in my home full of food stuff specifically and it will crash every time it is opened, but no other container in my home will do that. Certain bandits and merchants will also make my game crash when looting/ buying. I also had a problem northeast of Miraak's temple in Solstheim where whenever I try to get to the stone or the village there my game will crash. I fixed a Dawnstar crash by modding it and it works fine, but since I don't know what exactly is causing my Solstheim problem, I can't mod to fix it.
  19. I've always felt it was annoying when I would kill a merchant in a town and not be able to raid their inventory of what it was they were selling. That's when I learned about the merchant chests and I was figured I would just deal with looting what they had on the shelves in their store. However, for traveling merchants who risk the wilds, they must carry all of their goods on them (realistically), and I think that when you kill a traveling merchant, you should be able to loot all of the items they would be selling. A lot of the time, they have way more goods than that individual actor would probably be able to carry, but I've been searching for a mod that would allow me and my followers to attack a merchant group and then raid their goods, much like any true bandits. So it's always disappointing that they only have their basic loot upon defeating them. I don't really know if this idea for a mod is possible or how difficult it would be, but it would be really awesome. Yeah, it might unbalanced some things, but just in regards to the realistic aspect of being able to take the items outweighs that. And maybe more guards could be added to the merchants or something, too. Either way, it would be really cool to be able to loot the items from a traveling merchant that they were selling. I don't know if traveling merchants work the same as others with a chest hidden far away, but if there was some way to link the chest to their inventory on death or something, maybe that could do it? It would be awesome if this is possible, but if not, please let me know so I can move on with my bandit ways.
  20. This idea is to make it so only the College of Winterhold or mage characters sell spellbooks or scrolls, or even soul gems. This is tended to be more of an immersive mod and give people incentive to actually go to the College. If any modder wants to embark on this task feel free to make it customizable like allowing players to choose if you want vendors to sell soul gems but not spellbooks and scrolls or vice versa. Let me know what you thank and good luck. :ninja:
  21. A known bug with merchants appears when loading a savegame after trading: their gold and inventory are not restored, so if you make a mistake and reload, you can't complete the transaction as the merchant only has a few gold left. I'm using both Unofficial Skyrim Patch and Skyrim Misc Patches Collection, and I'm surprised this annoying bug hasn't been addressed yet by any of these or other mods. (If I'm wrong and a fix does exist somewhere, please let me know.) So, well, my request is a patch for the issue described above :)
  22. I made a merchant and checked respawn at his merchant container but i wanted the items to respawn like normal so after 48h but in my mod the items respawn as soon as i wait, sleep or just exit and then reenter the buildng whee the merchant is. But when I uncheck the respawn function of the container the itmes there never spawn again. Anyone know what I am doing wrong?
  23. Hi, So for a while now I have been tirelessly searching up ways to resolve this problem or bug. However, there was nothing about this bug that gave an answer on how to actually fix it! I've tried uninstalling the game and re-installing the game yet, it did nothing... The details go like this: 1. I walk up to a merchant or vendor and talk to them. 2. Go down to ask to see what their selling. (after it is clicked its color changes from white to grey like normal). 3. I hear the merchants or vendors say "take a look" and all the other NPC replies to trade. 4. After that I just sit there and cant do anything, they just look at me and I look around like are you going to bring up your inventory orrrr??? This bug has been irritating the hell out of me. Does anyone have any sort of insight as to why this could be happening, how to fix it, and what to do? Also I do have mods. Quite a few of them actually..... Thanks, BigBootyB
  24. Would It be possible to make so the merchants wears different "Armour" I just find it little enjoying to see them all in the same clothes. AND~ to make them have a higher variety of items? Thanks in advance //ryuukage
  25. Hey. I like to buy in bulk, and for that I would like to make a mod that automatically restocks a merchant with appropriate goods when their supply gets low. Say that I was to apply this to Arcadia in Whiterun (the potions/ingrediants dealer). I have gotten as far as deciding that the script should be attached to her merchant container. The script would ensure that if her supply of ingredients (not wares; ingredients) dropped below X, she would recieve a new item from a leveled list, Y. Then it would recheck to see if the number was X or above and then end or repeat accordingly. Does anyone have any idea how that script would look? I have seen toturials, but nothing have worked so far... I just need the first working script, and then I can do the rest of the mod on my own. Whatever help I recieve will of course have their names credited as script-assistance in the final credits. Thank you.
