Hello i'm having trouble with getting my meshes exported to the creation kit. it looks fine in nifskope but when i export to the creation kit it crashes every time i can send the file if you need it.   2. I've been having this issue where when skyrim launches, the screen turns black. The game is still "playable" and the audio can still be heard, but you can't see the screen. This also is happening when I exit to desktop from ingame. This is a new issue, and has only been happening since I started using Vortex to manage mods. I've used the nexus mod manager for years without any problem, and just used the mods from stream before that. Even earlier this year, I was able to play fine before needing to factory reset. (I couldn't move files from my desktop, downloads, etc due to admin rights not working. Unrelated.) Everyone told me for years to switch to vortex, and except for this issue, vortex runs like a dream. Once I actually get ingame where I can see, there's no problems until I want to stop playing. Then it's a struggle to get to task manager to shut off skyrim before the screen turns black again. I do want to mention, I had to change the resolution for the game to run after I got vortex, and didn't actually try running skyrim till I already had vortex installed on this instance of my computer. I had to troubleshoot, and guess at resolution numbers, until I found one that worked. Don't know if this is related or not. Also, skyrim doesn't always open the start game box when launched through vortex. Sometimes it goes directly to the game. After the intro credits, the screen turns black just as I can see the "continue, new game, etc" menu. I don't know if it matters, but the inconsistency of a computer program is a red flag to me. Right now, my current fix is to put my computer to sleep, then wake it back up. Now that the power button is set to "sleep" it's a lot easier. I can survive with this fix, but would like skyrim to just play when I launch it, and just go to desktop when I quit to desktop.
  3. Hey i'm wanting to extract the T60 power armor model so I can edit the model but after looking around with Bethesda Archive Extractor I can't find it . If anyone knows where to find it your help would be very appreciated .
  4. i have recently tried doing research to find out how to mod games and there is so much out there i just become very confused very fast. id like to figure out how to mod games and have them work online ultimately with games such as gta but would like to start with lfd2. if there is an easy starting guide of how to id love to find it. please any help and talk to me like im stupid cuz with this stuff i am stupid lol

I'm new making mods I know how to edit characters to add mods clothes: The problem is when I use heavy mods: for example I have the vanderfell imports mod (that about the morrowind armors) weighs almost 750mb, I edit an npc with one of those armors, all good, but when saving, my pc it does not support the Process of contruction set, and this closes the program (the editor is slowed down and tells me -not to respond-) My only solution: is to somehow edit the mod by removing what i don´t need (obviously backing up and asking the author for permission to upload it). I've noticed that many mods come with armors taken from other mods, without the need for the original esp as a minimum requirement I can extract the meshes and textures from the bsa but no idea how to use them to create a new esp files without so much weight or errors ¿any better solution? i use a amd sepron 2.8 ghz with 2 gb ddr3
  6. Hey guys, I'm doing some scripting in Fallout 3 for a mod I'm creating and I have run into some trouble. The script is for a "Terminal Sub-Menu - Menu Item" and is attached vir the 'Item result script' window found in the GECK 'Terminal' window. A quick run down on this scrips purpose.. When i activate the target terminal i select a Menu Item which takes me to a Sub-Menu, Within that Sub-Menu i can select a Menu Item (of which the script is attached) which will run the script and open a 'Message Box' with a Yes and No button, However i only want this 'Message Box' to be displayed once (only the first time i select this 'Menu Item'), the next time i select the same 'Menu Item' i want in to do something different. Short DoOnce If ( DoOnce == 0 ) ShowMessage TerminalMessage01 Set DoOnce to 1 endIf ; Stop Script here. ; Continue Script here next time the script runs. If ( DoOnce == 1 ) ; Do something different. endIf The problem is i cant get the "ShowOnce" Variable to work I can set "ShowOnce" to "1" before showing the 'Message Box' but for some reason i cant set it to "1" after showing the 'Message Box'. If anyone can help me with this script i would greatly appreciate it.
  7. Hey guys, I'm looking for some people to help me out on a mod. I've started a project that adds a new island to fallout 4 with 2 settlements on it already. It's aimed to be a fairly large mod and I have many ideas. However I'm not good at making models in blender and such. So I if you're interested in helping (big or small) send me a message. Modders of any level are always welcome. All I ask is that you have a basic understanding of how to creation kit works. Thanks guys!
  8. I like all the female companions and followers on skyrim nexus but I want to create my own non vanilla girls and need to know what everybody uses. An indepth tutorial would also be epic if able and do you need diff mod creator for all the other stuff or all in one? If someone would be willing to listen to my ideas and find them interesting or however that goes or out of good will maybe :sweat: make them it would be cool but idk if asking that is wrong. I just want to make skyrim really awesome and I have no idea how to start it all. So any advice or help would be gratefull. Oh and whats the diff between companions and follwers?

It's a re-texture and re-color (and colors choices )of the kellogg's armor set. I would like to find someone able to creat a standalone .esp files. The goal is to allow people to change collor in game at the workbench (for exemple), and also improve the kellogg's armor stats (i'm still think about the stats upgrade balance). Hey guy's I was just wondering if how you go about 3d modeling power armor for fallout 4 I searched it up and found out your supposed to use topology, shrink wrap, and snapping tools on a vanilla model in blender but I just don't know how I would go about that and as far as I know there is no tutorial about it. at least none that I know of

  14. Hey, when I'm trying to make one part of an armour invisible, by deleting in Photoshop said part of the texture, it just turns white ingame. Let's say i want to remove horns on an armour. What I do is open the textures (usually there are 3 textures, I think the actual colour texture, one for light and shadows and one that looks very simplistic and unicoloured<- not sure about that one). Anyway... I remove the lock from the layer and delete everything I don't want with the eraser tool, for all 3 textures, which leaves me with the tiles representing "nothing" in Photoshop. Then i save them like I usually do as dds file, using intels dds work plug-in. When I load ingame the horns are still there, but white (colourless). I thin the game runs on the Unreal Engine. Am I doing something wrong or is it simply not possible like that?
  15. I keep crashing around Soljunds Sinkhole and the area around it i dont know why i read that the unofficial patch might be the cause but i lost all faith in resolving this on my one so help would be appreciated. Im posting mod list in the overwrite order and the esp list bellow i use MO 2
  16. So I wound up having more time this summer than I had initially planned, and realized that voice acting sounded really fun to do. If anyone needs voice acting done for any mods, please let me know. I'd be more than happy volunteering my time to make the mod the best it could possibly be.
  17. allright, so i am makeing meshes for buildings and stuff for fallout new vegas. i made one and put it it a nif file. when i load it up in fallout new vegas, i cant walk through the places that i want to but i can places that i dont. (i can walk through walls but not the door and a few parts of the wall). please help me. PLEASE!

So the thing is this, i want to do something very similar to open freeside but in a minor way, the many tents the ncr have some are open and some others are "close" and need to load in another world space, i want to change this so they are all now in the open, maeby once this is complete i will move to some houses but first i need help whit the tents. So i ask you, i dont know if this is a recurrent theme, i search but a didnt find anythin related to help me in this little proyect, maeby i didnt see it o pass over it but please give me at least some guidance. Srry my shity english, not my first languaje

  20. Hello ! I'm using this website for years now as a "client". Today I would like to join the moders community and I would like to learn how to create mods. Most of the games now uses engines like Unreal Engine. Do you have any ressources/tutorials/guides, relatively up-to-date to learn how to create mod with these engines please ? I was quite confident about finding youtube tutorials... I was wrong. Thanks !
  21. Hello everyone. I want to mod some textures in ac4 Black flag. So first , I want to add ben hornigold's blue jacket to Edward Kenway's default robe. Then add a captain's hat with the feather on it to the outfit. Hat will disappear when the hood is on then reappear when hood if off. That ""when hood is off , on"" part maybe can be too hard for me because there can be bugs so hat part is not much necessary. So only Hornigold's blue jacket will do.Second , I want to swap Jackdaw's default black flags to original pirate flag which other pirate ships use. Thanks by now who can help me.
