  1. Many of us want to get a more inmersive experience and the HUD is too clustered for this. I think info like the minimap and mision objectives take too much space in the HUD, the problem is when you disable the HUD you also disable vital information like the clock, health bar, stamina, sharpness and mostly all that is in the top left.
  2. Remember that race of frog-like creatures from Shivering Isles DLC that made more of an annoyance than a serious threat? Well, I just ran across of one of their statues that makes them way more serious and could inspire someone to make a mod with them (playable/enemy) in Skyrim.
  3. I was hoping for a mod that could give us a spell or item summon that basically recreates the effect of the Iron Flask but as a reusable storage device for the monster of your choice. I have mashed together some mods to let me play as a druid with a team of 6 animals/monsters plus myself as the trainer. I focus on healing and support while the "Pokemon" battle. This sort of works but sometime they choose not to have a turn in combat making me use a mod to give them AI to stop from freezing up. I also needed another mod to allow me to revive "non allies" in my team. There is some fun theory crafting and min maxing to be had in team building but its super janky and runs into lots of issues as it is. Having a team of Worg, Tusk, Crimson, Bear, Chicken, and Bored Ox is a grand time. Some sort of mod that does an all in one "here is an item to turn Baldur's gate into pokemon" weird for sure but trust me it has been a blast thus far even with the struggles. So basically the mod would need 1.An item or spell that allows the capture and release of mounters. Ideally for free without an action. 2.Change party size to allow team of 6 3.Fix Ai to allow being added to turn rotation or not turn hostile when attacking the same "faction" 4. Allow the player to revive the monsters 5. Make sure the team fast travels with "leader" 6.Limit capture possibility to monsters/animals/creatures. No humanoids. "Think can this have dialogue without a spell" No ogres, goblins, demons, humanoids, etc.
  4. Hi everyone Monsters like Yian Garuga, Zinogre, Nargacuga, Tigrex, all Elder Dragons etc. all have their own battle theme. Is it possible to give other monsters their own theme as well? I was thinking, for example, of Rathalos and especially Kirin (Tower Theme from MH2U). I just have no idea in which file and where exactly this is regulated, only that the music files are contained in the npck files. I couldn't find a tutorial either. Does anyone know? Many thanks for your replies.
  5. I love skeletons and zombies in this game so much and really want to play as them. If it's possible to create an item that turns the player character into them, that'd be awesome.

An REFramework-based mod that makes use of the music systems (partial or otherwise) already present in the game, that would allow the following: The reuse of any music tracks from the game (base or Sunbreak) with any specific monster, for those that already have a theme, it will be simply switched out.The ability to use any externally provided sound file of any of the common filetypes (MP3? Ogg? Wav? etc.), to customize the music played anywhere in the game, especially in-hunt battle themes.Practically, this would allow people and the community to pick and choose out their own favorite themes on any given area, map, mounting, fishing, meat grilling, and monster, as well add custom soundtracks, or already pre-existing ones from other media into the game, maybe even pull soundtracks from previous MH games into Rise/Sunbreak! it's relatively known that MHR seems to be oddly lacking in their soundtracks in some aspects of the game, certain flagship monsters such as Lunagaron don't seem to have a battle theme if its own, instead settling on the map's common battle theme, so a mod like this would be quite essential for a lot of people, perhaps we could finally give Khezu its own community-made battle theme?
  7. So i was wondering, is it possible with the mod kit to play as a monster? to be able to do attacks animations etc. Playing the new DLC made me want to play as a vampire badly (Dettlaff) cough. Those mist attacks were amazing and pretty much made me wonder if it was possible, the same way as in skyrim or fallout?

Ok soo i have idea (yea i could do it myself but i dont have right tools mainly i cant import from blender to falllout) A custom mesh and texture weapon that hase robobrain in it or just normal brain and it could like shot the brains out or even better create like a crawling brain creature I know its allot of work but i just had this idea ann wanted to put this out here

  11. So, I've gotten a lot of interest from people wanting to do some voice acting for my mods, Here There Be Monsters and Here There Be Monsters: Call of Cthulhu. This weekend I will transcribe all the dialogue and start posting in this discussions tabs (and in this forum). If you're interested, please check it out and decide what characters you want to voice. I'll keep everything on a first-come basis, but if there's a lot of interest in certain characters I guess we can do some kind of auditions? He gives you the extent of the quests, is by your side the whole time. Your typical gruff, haunted sailor character, kind of a mix of Aragorn and Quint from Jaws (if that makes sense.) He will have a lot of dialogue. Captain Gamli - A perpetually drunken sea captain, needs to be hilarious (but in a serious way, not a clown.) I'm imagining a stereotypical Scotch-Irish sailor accent, but not necessarily straight pirate. This could be fun. Captain Ghoragdag - A badass orc women; all business, no bulls***. Anyone wants to try their hand at an female orc voice, be my guest. Captain Guomundr - A mountain of a nord. Deep, haunted, a man of few words. Survivors - A female khajiit, a male wood elf, a female redguard, a male breton, and a male child. These just have a little bit of dialogue. Need each to be a sort of terrified, PTSD survivor. Not necessarily frantic, more deeply shaken. Phorcys - The Shepherd of the Sea, a gigantic Lurker. You appeal to his sensibilities to try and tame Tiamat. This could be anything. Huge, booming, gargling, fishy...I'm open to ideas. Tiamat - This is the living embodiment of the sea, the storm goddess, the chaos mother. You talk to her after you defeat her. She is broken and stripped of her power, but still a goddess. Feminine, but still terrible and slightly noble. I keep envisioning Galadriel's crazy power trip in Fellowship of the Ring, but not nearly that intense. Obviously she's not a big fan of you, so she needs to sound pretty hostile. Abdul Al'hazred - The mad poet, the crazy arab (in this case a Dunmer) who wrote the Necronomicon. For some reason I really want him to sound like Floki from the show Vikings, just batshit crazy and hilarious but also kind of terrifying. Cultist - batshit madmen, similar to the voices of the Miraak Cultist, I think they’re mostly dunmer. Must be able to pronounce Ph'nglui mglw'nafh Cthulhu R'lyeh wgah'nagl fhtagn :-) Obed Marsh - The leader of Innsmouth/captain of the Yellow King. I'd like the Innsmouthers to have a strange accent (like the heavy new england accent in Lovecraft's books) but I'm not entirely sure how that would even sound. Obed should be little more cultured, seeing as he's the only one that actually deals with normal people. Priest of Dagaan - Similar to Obed, fairly intelligent. Should sound pretty skeezy and creepy too. Innsmouthers & Yellow King Sailors - Same accent, both men and women. Should be almost incomprehensible. Delmus - Typical Telvanni Dark Elf. Desperate, needs your help, so not as much of a dick as usual. Flagg - A wise Skaal shaman who knows a whole lot about the Necronomicon. Something should seem off about him. Nyarlathotep/The Yellow King - I combined Nyarlathotep and Hastur into one character. He needs to be creepy as f*** and evil but intelligent and powerful. Free reign with this one. Also, Yellow King wears a mask, so he should sound slightly muffled. High Priest of Cthulhu - can just be a standard cultist. Sailors - just a few lines of dialogue for random sailors, need a few voice types. Zadok Allen - A alcoholic resident of Innsmouth. Not part of the cult, but knows of their misdeeds. Hermaeus Mora - I’d like him to sound as closely as possible to his vanilla voice. Anyone who’s good at impressions, go for it. I think that covers everyone. Let me know what interests you!
  12. I have a lot of mod ideas but no modding knowledge at all. So I'm asking if anyone would be willing to create my idea or teach me how to do it myself? This is the second Idea that I'm posting. this time it's a creature. It uses the appearance to lure the unsuspecting victims (humanoids, mostly girls) and then changes back to it's original form and swallows the victim.   13. I have a monster mod idea that i have already been working on a little that adds onto the current spawn lists and adding new creatures. I am mainly making or editing creatures from previous fallout games and the New Vegas dlc creatures integrated to current lists and making new spawn points for ones that don't fit in anywhere else. But now is my problem, I need help finding resources for wanamingos and floaters. I have seen Zenl's work for used on Marts monster mod and Dogtown's monster mod but I don't know how to get his resources because he has no download on Zenl's profile and I cant send a PM to him either. I will remember to give credit to the creator, but I don't know how to get the files legally.
  14. Hello, I would like to inquire about Skyrim and its creatures. I'm playing a character very similar to Geralt from the Witcher, and I would like to know what sort of creatures would be called "monsters." If anybody would make up a list that would be awesome and appreciated as I wouldn't know how to roleplay. Monsters wouldn't include cows, chickens, deer, sabre tooths, boars, or and domestic or wild fauna. Can't wait to see what you guys think! :smile:
  15. OK... So, I'm sure at some point we all asked... What is the best most realistic mods to use to make Skyrim look more realistic? I know I've asked more than a few times... My question is, why the fk hasn't anyone just told me what I'm going to tell you? JUST SEARCH S.T.E.P... BTW IMO there is no difference between uGridstoload=5 and Vanilla Skyrim... BUT uGridstoload=11 vs 5 is AMAZING!!!
  16. I need help or advice on getting some of Zenl's floater, wanamingo, and super mutant resources. I am unable to send messages to his profile and he doesn't have any downloads or rules on them that I can see. I would like to know what were his rules and permissions for using the assets and where to get them (All I can think of is moving resources from MMM or the Monster mod for NV but I don't know if i'm allowed to do this) I will remember to give permissions to him if I can use them, or will not use them at all if they it isn't allowed.
  17. I am having problems with the game crashing whenever I try to exit a building. The attached file will give you a list of the mods that I have enabled. At this moment the only thing I know that isn't causing it to crash is MWE.

Skyrim has quite a few references to other games, such as the famed "Notched Pickaxe" at High Hrothgar, but if your a nut when it comes to references, collectables and easter eggs like me, you know that you can never have enough! What I'd want out of a modding community is a huge mod that adds semi lore friendly easter eggs and references throughout the game to movies, games, mythology, real life and so on. THIS IS NOT JUST MY IDEA. ANYONE WHO COMES UP WITH MORE IDEAS IS WELCOME TO POST FOR POTENTIAL MODDERS! :D (But rememeber these are referred things only, instead of just slamming a creeper out of minecraft into Skyrim, try and make it blend into the world with a name like "Creeping Stalker" or something) Lets fill up Skyrim! Here's some ideas to start; A Fly Amanita Mushroom Patch found growing out of and around a wooden box in the world. (MARIO)A small marker from dead space embedded inside a stone wall somewhere in the world (A crypt possibly?) so its barely visible (DEAD SPACE)A Redguard wandering the wild named Addalin who carries a lantern in his inventory. (ALADDIN)A peaceful Mammoth, Sabrecat and Skeever (ha) wandering around together to the frozen area of Skyrim (ICE AGE)A hidden cave entrance that cannot be accessed with a bat carved into the face of the rock (BATMAN)A large, burley Imperial named Hurceles whos in the wild wearing only topless fur armour next to the body of a sabretooth cat. He has no weapons but is immensely powerful should you attack him (HERCULES)A small floating Dwemer Automoton shaped like a Metroid in one of the Dwemer ruins next to a dwemer style containment tube. It can drain health. (METROID)A cell in a city dungeon with a copy of "Yellow Book of Riddles" inside and green question marks painted on the walls (RIDDLER)7 small spherical stones with stars carved into them inside an empty dragon burial mound. (DRAGONBALL)An old statue in a graveyard tat resembles an angel crying (DOCTOR WHO)A small farm with a pen filled with chickens. If you attack one they will swarm and attack you until either they or you are dead. (ZELDA "CUCKOO")I will add more when I think of any and i hope you do too :D Any modders out there or friends of modders that think they would like to have a go at making this thankyou and lets keep making Skyrim bigger :D

I've been dwelling on the fact Skyrim has all sorts of dangerous and fearful creatures that roam different regions of the land, however it came to mind that although giants are a force to be reckoned with they rarely pose and threat and generally only attack if provoked. When one considers their immense size and strength you would think that both the people of skyrim and the giants themselves would be more at conflict with one and other with more hostilities in terms of interaction. I am posing the idea here of giants having wider roaming capabilities and also being more aggressively natured when in close proximity to a band of troops or any man who gets too close or is within line of sight of these guys. I was also thinking that it would be cool to have some variety among giants such as three or perhaps four different types of giant in different areas of the world. I know there are some other giant mods out there but generally all I've seen is one or two that simply increase the number of giants and give them a different coloration but not different skins or types. Here below is some concept art work I have drawn for the 'Titans' which I drew from several different images based on creatures from another game but with one or two minor alterations which I feel give a more menacing look.
  20. Hi guys, So if we talk about Jotuns and giants, why we not have something like AD&D forgotten realms creatures? Ice trolls (not the one ones what we have, rather something like a classical troll (AD&D) ogres, nordic monsters, SNAKES (snakes oooh yeah, why nobody made some snakes yet?) Ice wolfs (again, AD&D, frost breathing intelligent wolves) ice goblins, orcs etc. Ogar? Somebody with the knowledge could make a nordic creature pack, a new monster mod. Since the original Monster mod seems abandoned... Any thoughts?
  21. Having some issue and would rather not abandon the idea. I have the NV Monster Costumes version of a Liberty Prime suit in a dream sequence where the player uses it. I made each of the gloves into their own armor object. As I rotate around it being worn the lower torso flickers between different colors that are being reflected from the environment. I've seen this phenomenon before on a hanging lamp in front of Prospector's Saloon and in other places I think as well. anyhow, cheers. there will be a large dedicatedly quaint multi-quest mod coming out in within the next month (I have said that before...), Keep your eyes open for Garbage Guru Hauling & Free Store.   22. I would like to know how to modify the DT of creatures in momod & its addons. I was playing around with it in FNVEdit and already rebalanced (mostly nerfed :tongue:) a lot of stuff, but I can't find the DT for the creatures, only for certain robots/droids/whatever - but those are actually armor pieces that they 'wear'. Is there a way to edit it through FNVEdit and I am just blind and didn't see it somewhere there, or do I need to use G.E.C.K. or something else for it? Another thing I would like to know is how to change the LLs, basically modifying them so all stuff can spawn on all levels - I once downloaded a mod like that for F3 and I had lots of fun with it and I would like to make one for FNV. I tried googling this stuff and even browsed through the forums for a bit, but couldn't find anything related, plz halp.

Being able to mod Skyrim is definitely one of the strongest reasons why i moved from my PS3 to PC platform. i have been trying to find the optimal monster mix-up for well over a month now, take a browse through this ... Enhanced High Lvl Gameplay (Higher Lvl Enemies could be better, i must still try this one) Ultimate Dungeon Overhaul Skyrim More Spawns Deadly Dragons Immediate Dragons Behemyths Alpha Creatures DFB - Random Encounters (set most everything to max, with lowest wait times) SIM - only the Hostile add-on WiS IV (War in Skyrim - you won't find this on Nexus) WiS Werewolves&Vampires Extra Encounters (High Spawn Rate version) Enhanced Skyrim Monsters and Animals Revenge of the enemies Rabbit Rage (for laughs&kicks) (oh yeah, and do yourself a favor, and get Swearing Mudcrabs, and Posh Mudcrabs - there is also Enhanced Mudcrabs (makes them jump attack) This is also my current load order, for some reason Extra Encounters seems to work better when it comes later, this mod together with WiS, and SkyrimSpawns seem to have the biggest impact on world encounters -Random Encounters is a simple must, this will ensure every bit is unique -Enhanced Skyrim Monsters and Animals is a booster for size, speed, and health for all your creatures, -Revenge of the Enemies is amazing, all enemies use new and fantastic abilities, including Unrelenting Force, use this together with HardCore FUS ROH and Fart Shouting for real kickers! (i only use this AI plugin, as i am currently using Unleashed as an Overhaul, all the others are giving way too much NPC damage, making the game unplayable) -Ultimate Dungeon Overhaul makes the dungeons really scary stuff, your visibility is seriously affected by this, the author also mentions extra monsters and items to be found, much better than Further Darker Dungeons in my opinion, and works great with ENB, you can use the both together for seriously dark dungeons These are all rather small resource eating mods in comparison to some, i wanted to add Enhanced Mighty Dragons, Epic Creatures, Named Bosses, and ones similar to these, but they all ended up in game crashes. These are great, but will require big sacrifices important note: make sure you set the values on SkyrimSpawns way down, i go down to 1.5 for the base values i hope this helps all you fellow Skyrimers, it should help you from spending hours of time testing, and re-testing i used to be an avid D&D dungeon master back in the day, and have been an RPG enthusiast ever since Happy Dungeon Hacking
