Hello. I have a mod 'Purity' installed which changes the location name Weißlauf to Whiterun. When I deactivate the mod, Whiterun goes back to Weißlauf which is good. So the question is, how should I proceed to change the location names that have been altered by mods? Is it possible to create some kind of translation .txt file that 'Purity' would consider as a valid translation mod? Or should I use Tes5Edit for that kind of stuff? Help me out, people! Much obliged.

I made a Radio mod just last night And everything works perfectly fine except that I canât figure out how to change the name that is displayed in the pip boy. Itâs HeartAGram_radio and I just simply wanted to say HeartAGram radio.. The same thing but without the_. All I really want to know is what do I need to navigate to in order to change the mods name within the creation get for it to show up different in the pip boy?

I've produced a couple of mods and hope to continue more, but i've realised that my username is barely even pronounceable. I was really looking for a name change as i'm hoping to make a small reputation on this brilliant site :smile: If a change is possible, i would like to have: nonk -no caps btw

Hey all! i would LOVE to see someone come out with a mod that lets you create multiple map markers at once, so you can name them and possibly color select. maybe add some cool features like icons, for when you are marking a base, a certain fight zone, or whatever. for example. i find cool places and make awesome bases, but then i will usually leave and have trouble finding it again, i know about the place-able map marker, but i do use it often and its hard to keep track!!, so i would love to see something like this!!

Okay, so I have a weird glitch going on and am not sure how to fix it. I got 'UFO - Ultimate Follower Overhaul' and got several followers. To create a really custom game, I downloaded 'JaxonZ Renamer' and renamed my followers to give them more badass names. I also have an NPC clothes changer mod of some sort to customize what they wear and 'Amazing Follower Tweaks' to polish them off. As you see, I wanted to make them all as custom as possible! But after a while of playing, randomly, the name for one of my followers disappeared. Not only that, I couldn't interact with them anymore! They kept following me, but I couldn't talk to them or command them! Eventually, they just stopped talking altogether! And now this has happened with nearly all my followers (I currently have 5). Now I'm sure one of my follower mods has something to do with this, but I am unsure of what to do because I know uninstalling one of them while they are being used a lot can break the game. So yeah, any advice or maybe other possible mods that could fix this would be very helpful!

Can someone make a mod that lets you rename items ? Strangely enough no-ones made this and since i have no idea ho to ... All i want is a console command. But don't make it so that it renames EVERY item of that type. Like if i rename my cowboy repeater to suzzy, don't make it so that every repeater is called suzzy. This would be very neat to have and would help with role-playing.

I can't seem to name my weapon correctly based on what object mods are applied. On the WEAP itself I've got WeaponTypeBallistic, WeaponTypeRifle and WeaponTypeSniper. I want both my stocks to classify my weapon as a rifle, so they both have dn_HasGripRifle and WeaponTypeRifle applied in their properties. However the Rifle suffix doesn't appear. However it does work for my scope and reflex - dn_HasScope, HasScope adds 'Scoped' as a prefix and dn_HasScope_ReflexSight adds 'Tactical' as expected. I just can't get the word 'Rifle' to appear after my weapon. I also want the scope to classify the weapon as a Sniper Rifle, which I could have sworn I managed to do before, but now it refuses to work. I suppose if I fix one, it might fix the other. Also, what's the difference between dn_ and not?

Has anyone else experienced this? When you're talking to your child or someone you refer to by name, it just replaces the name with [...] for some reason. It happened with a weapon of mine too just called Blade of [...] Any known fix to this? Thanks

Anyone know why no modder has made a codsworth name list add on? codsworth should have enough dialoge to make a phenetic library to make names. Some sort of external name to voice genorator so you can build the name and used spelling so it would have a chart of phenetic parts and you look up which you need and what order. Then you have a second input for spelling you will see in subtitles and other places. I am not a modder and I don't know how hard that would be... but Codsworth saying Sir, has been killing me...

Hi, I know about the magnifying glass to look at the content of a mod, and I like it, but I would love to be able to quickly look for alternatives or conflicts for a particular file or set of files. You can sometimes simply search for mod names (by the way, "file name" should probably be replaced with "mod name" when searching if this is implemented), but you'll miss overhauls and mods for which said file is not the main focus. On the front end, it could be done either by clicking on the file name in the "content" window and then getting a list of mods including the same file, or simply adding a search parameter. On the back end, I get that it might be too hard or impossible. I didn't find anyone asking for it, so I'll be the one. And if it already exists as a hidden parameter, I'd love to know about it. I have decided recently to make my first mod, a modified version of power armors. It took me a few days to create the stats and whatnot of one PA (will be making a few different models), and they work fine, however the name I gave it for in-game does not appear to work; it shows up as X-01 PA. I would make sense, since I used it as a base, except the helmet that is based off the T-60 PA. the "Name" values were changed, so I do not know what is going on. I suspect something in the Keywords might have something to do with it (I changed the T-60 helmet keyword dn_PowerArmor_T60 to dn_PowerArmor_X01) but I cannot find where I need to go to make the associations. Can someone please provide help? Thanks! edit: I forgot to mention that I used both a PA furniture frame with the custom parts inside, as well as just added the individual parts on the floor, with the same result.

Hello, my first time in nexus forums Back to the topic: Is anyone can possible to hide the player character's name while the subtitle is on?? I really don't like how my character shows up his/her name when talking in dialogue/examine, everyone in this game didn't say about the player character's name(except codsworth, he will say my real name according to the special menu at prewar with that vault-tec guy before the bomb strikes)

Hi, I am in search of a mod that I cannot seem to remember the name of but I do have brief memory of what it looks like. What the mod does it brings the legion into Fallout 3 (and I think the NCR as well), one of the images on the front page shows a Legion Centurion running towards the Megaton gates. Does anyone know a mod like that? If so please give me a reference and I will appreciate it.

So a couple of my weapons have changed and every 10mm pistol I find is a "10mm compensated pistol" but it's not even a modified pistol, just a vanilla one but the other weird part is that the weapon somehow sounds like the combat rifle and the even weirder part is, I attached a hardened reciever to one hoping it might rename it at least, it changed to a "compensated boosted 10mm pistol". Does anybody have any idea what could possibly be doing this, my mod list doesn't contain anything that I would imagine messes with that sort of thing. Nevermind I figured it out, it was extended weapon mods.

Hi all I am wondering is there a mod which lets you choose who you want to be addressed by other characters.. I find it really annoying when guards and other npcs refer to you as a dragonborn when you are not doing that storyline... Or you'll be doing the companions quest and they are like 'I know who you are hail sithis' kinda breaks the immersion. And I know this kinda thing happens when you use one character to play through all the storylines but it just takes too much time to have multiple characters....

So, i play the game in portuguese (i'm brazilian) and the names of everything were normal until one day all the power armor names changed to the phrase "Is it here i can get power armor?" and i don't know how to revert them to their original name. So i come here to ask for help on how to fix that. If anyone knows of a fix i would greatly appreciate it if you told me.

During a reinstalling of my game, I seem to have lost a certain mod or some armors from a mod. The mod contained versions/replacements of vanilla light armors with backstab bonuses attached to them, "+5 backstab damage" on rough leather armor, for instance. If you have any idea, please tell me. This mod seems to also have affected heavier armors, cuz now all the guards in Redcliffe castle are walking around in their underwear. I was also wearing such a set while I was still in the Circle tower. When i returned, I thought nothing of my indecently exposed rogue at the time, but I decided to continue with a new, separate save when I noticed the merchant near the Circle entrance was also indecent. Of course, I did not think this would continue to be a problem in other cells until I returned to Redcliffe after completing the entire Broken Circle quest(thank the Maker I have "Skip the Fade", but still). Until someone tells me, I will be playing the warrior character I created afterward. I would prefer not have to redo my desired character, from the entire origin all the way through Lothering and the Redcliffe assault and the journey to the Circle.

Hi guys, I'm currently in the planning phase for a mod, and am struggling with a name. I'll give you guys the basic gist of the story, and maybe you can help me out by suggesting some names? :P 'The story involves a once-remote tribe and a newly established town. The presence of the town has caused tension within the tribes's leadership, as some members are looking for a peaceful solution, whereas the others would go as far as to wage war with the town to reclaim their land.' That's all I really want to give away at this (very) early stage, but hopefully it's enough to spark some thoughts. Thanks, bayk.
