I want to install Creation Kit for Fallout 4 and Steam is the only way I can since no one posted it to Nexus or elsewhere like they do for past Bethesda games. Problem is my game doesn't have the next gen update installed so Steam will probably try to install an updated Creation Kit if it can even install it with my app manifest file set to read only for FO4. I see that the Downgrader mod for this update has settings regarding the CK & no one has been able to answer me on the mod page or Reddit so I'm asking here: Do I need the Downgrader to make CK work with Fallout 4 even if the game is not on the next gen update? If yes, can I run the Downgrader WITHOUT it touching my game since it's not even updated?

I asked this question in The Witcher 3 Mod Talk, but I think maybe that Forum is aimed at modders. Since updating to 4.03 patch, what do people think of the latest group of graphics mods aimed at the 4.03 patch (TW3 Next Gen)? Has anyone found a graphics mod that significantly enhances the already fine graphics of 4.03? BTW, I'm playing with an AMD Radeon XT6600 XT graphics card, so obviously I'm not interested in the mods that are aimed at NVIDIA cards - although others are probably interested in any of those mods that you have found worthwhile.

I think this is something that should have been an option in the game's settings. I don't know if this is allowed, but if someone could fix and update that mod and make it an official update on NexusMods (give it its own page like the rest of the mods).

So my main topic is Far Cry 4... I know it just came out but I got the gold edition, not knowing it would overload my computer. It'll play, but barely on lowest. The cutscene lag is so bad it hurts. 15fps is fine for me, but I'd like a bit newer rig. I'm running on an HP Pavilion laptop (IK IK Don't game on a laptop...) With an AMD Radeon 7600 series APU 8-core processor (AMD A-8 Vision) And I've been thinking of getting an NVidia card for it. Thoughts? I'm also planning to get Just Cause 3 and still awaiting the day I may play Watch Dogs on PC... Also, wondering if anyone has made an ptimization mod for FC4 yet? Thanks all, ~JIET
