  1. Hiya, I recently downloaded Nexus Mod Manager so that I could download 'Brynjolf and the Riften Guild' onto Skyrim, however every single time I try to launch Skyrim, I get as far as the loading screen before it kicks me out. I've downloaded 'SKSE-simple launcher', 'Hearthfire multiple adoptions' and 'Honeyside Thane of riften'. The same thing seemed to happen when I tried using Vortex, as soon as I uninstalled all my mods on there and deleted the application, my game went back to working again. Is there anything I can do about this? Hopefully a solution that doesn't mean I have to start over
  2. hi, while the Mod-backup-program was running, no file was displayed on c: (SSD 500GB). The program has occupied more than 100gb until nmm crashed. The problem is that the 100GB are still busy and no file can be found on c: and I haven´t enough space to start the program again. Where can I find the file. I have used the option for showing invisible files. Nothing. What can I do? Thanks a lot voyagerdeltaflyer
  3. I'm getting a download speed of around 14 kb using the nexus mod manager, previously this has been as low as 512/1024 KB but recently it's severely low. Does anybody know why? Or if there is some remedy? Keep in mind I have fiber optic internet capable of 87 Megabits a second, so I know it's not my internet...
  4. Just bought a new gaming PC and this was my first go-to game to play! So I learned how to install mods via nexus mod manager and I've reinstalled the games a couple of times and NMM etc etc. After doing this a few times I've realised none of the mods are actually uninstalling which is really confusing me as I've deleted all game files for Oblivion, and I've actually searched Oblivion on my hard disk drive and removed everything with that name involved. Heard it could be something to do with Steam icloud or something. Could someone offer me some help? I want to play this game vanilla and it's annoying me as I thought I could have just removed the mods. I suppose I could have just disabled them but it's too late now lol. Thanks in advance!

Hello so I will start from the beginning I want to add a four poster bed to skyrim but I want the Mesh to have different Material Sounds corresponding with that specific part of the mesh for example. the bed frame sounding like wood and the blanket sounding like cloth the bed is on whole mesh with selectable parts on it. I understand Chunk Merge is supposed to be able to do it so depending on what you name each NiTriShape for example the bed frame to SKY_HAV_MAT_HEAVY_WOOD and then name the blanket to SKY_HAV_MAT_CLOTH âand then using chunk merge to generate collision the actual mesh would then have two materials on those parts. âBut it wont work for me I generate the collision fine but those areas do not have their own sounds. so I don't know what I am doing wrong. I will upload two Nif files one is the actual Four Poster Bed. and the optimized one with all names changed to collision Materials.   6. Hi guys, I keep getting this error message crashing NMM and preventing me from using the programme and by extension can't play Skyrim. I am new to NMM and have no idea what I can do to fix this.   8. SKSE64 files are all properly installed via instructions provided by the developers. I can run the exe fine and my game works, however, I can't get it to show up in the menu through NMM. Does anyone know how to fix this?
  9. I'm trying to install fallout new vegas redesigned and I think I'm supposed to install the mod through nexus mod manager but I only have the option to download it manually. How do I use NMM to install the mod which is downloaded completely separately from NMM?
  10. I'm getting crashes out of nowhere. I'm trying to solve it but old threads tell me to use the inieditor in the mod manager to change the Skyrim.ini under the Papyrus section to enable the log. On the next crash, it will create a log folder so I can see what loaded right before the crash. 1. There's no inieditor in Nexus Mod manager. I have changed the main ini myself but I get no Log files 2. My main ini is called Skyrim_default.ini. It has the same Papyrus section the forums show about Skyrim.ini so I don't think the name is the problem. 3. I've run Loot and I've used TES5 to get rid of remove the ITM, and undelete and disable references. Got a pretty clean load. 5. I disabled all active mods and then added them back one at a time on a fresh game. 6. Worked great right up until I leave Whiterun and it crashes in the vicinity of Silent Moons Camp. I can fast travel to other places no problem. Something is keying this crash but I have no idea without a log. How can I get it?
  11. I used Nexus Mod Manager a while ago but uninstalled it for some reason, and after getting tired of the small selection from Bethesta's mods in game I decided to download it again. Everything went smoothly, Nexus downloaded fine and I have plenty of space for it and for my mods. I uninstalled all of the mods in game and made sure no gamefile was corrupt and decieded to download a few mods but none of them are showing up. I have 17 mods that are retextures, followers and alike and they all stand there with a green checkmark and warning free and all plugins needed are plugged inn. But when I launch the game and start playing, nothing shows up. It's just the vanilla game, can't find my new followers and everything looks the same. I tried to uninstall the game and delete the mods which I did and then reinstalled everything but still the same issue. Anyone else have this problem? If so, any solutions?
  12. Greetings everyone. To start off this problem is on the OG Skyrim and not SSE. I'm also very familiar with modding community. I did some experimenting on body textures such as the recent Nezzar's Body Plus Texture and Buxom Body. This prompted me to download and install the BodySlide and Outfit Studio. The body I'm currently using before downloading this is UNP Blessed Body Redux. Now I did do some adjusting with some sliders in the studio then I hit "Build body" and it gave me what it built when I started the game. Since I work with HDT Physics and Bounce and Jiggles and XML, I wasn't satisfied with the body the "BodySlide and Outfit Studio" made w/out the bounce and jiggles. So I proceeded to uninstall the BodySlide Studio and reverted back to the UNP Blessed Body Redux, only this time when I started the game, my spouses body is jiggleless and static (as if I didn't uninstall the BodySlide Studio). The following install order is complex, but goes as follows: 1. Reinstalled UNP Blessed Body Redux and overwrit everything 2. Fair Skin Complexion to make UNP look skin super smooth 3. HDT Bounce and Jiggles UNP 7.0 4. XML for Beginners 5. Activate LOOT to ensure proper load order is arranged 6. Updated FNiS generator for animation purposes After this, I tried researching this problem, but it's difficult to find topics that relate to this problem. So I tried one other step which had me switch mod profiles to another character I play, nothing tampered on that side. Then I switched back and this body problem still continues. I didn't do any solid saves and still have many auto saves I can go back to including the one main save before any of this started. Now of course I did revert back to and older save and usually that fixes any problem, but not this one. I'm at my widths end for now and could use some suggestions.
  13. Hi, I have downloaded some mods like immersive armors, immersive citizens, Realtionship Dialog Overhaul etc... for skyrim special edition. After using the mods for a while I wanted to delete some of the mods. After I have deleted some mods, it wasn't able anymore to load my modded savegame, because my "savegame is damaged". Even if I play skyrim with another pc, where the mods I have downloaded are not even downloaded on my other pc, my actual savegame still can't be loaded because of the same reason. How can I deactivate my mods without losing my savegame?Is it even possible?Or should I even avoid mods to play skyrim without issues like that?
  14. When I extract the SkyUI.7z folder, I get - 1. SkyUI.bsa 2. SkyUI.esp 3. fomod(folder) I don't know where to place the fomod folder and its contents. So someone please tell me where to place the fomod folder.
  15. I know that this is not the normal sort of thing seen on here but I'm not really sure how else to do this so here it goes... I've been a console gamer pretty much all of my life. I'm not really sure why either. Guess it goes that way sometimes. I've never actually heard of the PC gaming scene and modding until I saw a handful of youtubers like oxhorn and bigmooney playing Fallout 4, Hitman, Sniper Elite 4, etc. The sad part is that I never even heard of Fallout until I saw someone else playing on YouTube. I decided to pick up Fallout 4 for my Xbox One and I was immediately hooked. I do agree with most "reasonable" people about the flaws of this game but it's just something special to me. After dabbling in mods on Xbox I realized that my personal artistic vision for this game was being held back. Big time. After a bit of research and soul searching I decided to invest in a gaming PC. I've had experience with PCs in the past and a bit of game modding but the PC modding life is a whole different level. That's where the meaning of this post lies. I feel that after a TON of research, trial and error, head aches galore, that I may finally have a handle on this thing and I have all of you to thank for that. Mod Authors who create this fantastic content for nothing other than the love of the game (and maybe a little recognition), YouTubers who review mods like MXR, Ox, Juicehead, etc. and give us their opinions along with enough of a view to decide whether or not it's worth a download. To all of you that read posts from guys like me that need some guidance stepping into a world that is completely alien to some of us. All of you are the reason I didn't throw my PC out the window! I have learned so much and am now in a place where I am proud to call myself one amongst your ranks. When I find something I like I usually stick with it for a really long time. Everything that you all have done in your respective areas have really made me not only enjoy the game in ways I never thought possible but also the pursuit of all of the information that I needed along the way and the bit of exhilaration that I feel when I finally figure something out. I am by no means a PC pro, but today for instance when I had to temporarily roll back my version of Fallout 4 to 1.10.75 because beth is trying to shove more dogs down my throat, I felt really good when I was able to make it work and it is all because of you people.   16. I've been the nexus for a minute, and gotta say was very reluctant to use vortex. However after my last trip just two seconds ago with my nexus mod manager---it uninstalled my mods, now it reads 0 for 'active mods' despite the fact that my mods are active and the game runs. and now my game gives me this: ^I've got a bunch of duplicate nps everywhere :hurr: :wacko: So I said, screw it, gunna probably have to reinstall anyway like I usually do. But let me try vortex and give it a go (probably should've done that from the start). Using it is surprisingly easy, as though the mods were rearranged in the load order, once the game had the mods enabled, it ran right up no problem. Anybody have any experiences with Vortex? Any hope for the new improvements the devs are gunna set in? And seriously, is there anything i should know before I get started with Vortex?
  17. After I updated my NMM only the first letters of every mod shows on my mod list, like: Name Category Install date etc 15... (category) (install date) etc AK... (category) (install date) etc Bui... (category) (install date) etc etc It's all quite confusing and makes it much harder to navigate, have anyone else come across this? Or am I just stupid and have accidentally changed something in settings, can't find any solution myself. How do I fix?
  18. So for example, the catagories will be named something like Un.... or Ge... and I cant change it, can someone help me change it back to full category names pls?
  19. So I've just got Grim Dawn and I was hoping to have a few mods added to it. Problem is, that the Mod Manager Scanner isnt detecting Grim Dawn. I've installed the game, played for a good few hours, so there should be files for it to find. I was hoping to add it manually but I cant seem to find an "Add game" option. If the scanner doesnt pick up the games I've installed, then how am I supposed to add said games? I'm new to modding, the last game I had mods installed for being fallout 4 which was already an option. Help plz.
  20. [Modding] An Exception In The ScriptSo I have been trying to mod my game and it went ok at first all of the mods that I wanted where able to install and download. But once I got to some other mods that are almost a must (like The Mod Configuration Menu and progect nevada) it didnt work, it download fine but when I tried to install it a small pop up came up saying "An Exception In The Script" and I was wondering if anyone else is haveing this problem and how to fix it. Any help is apreciated. I am using the nexus mod manager to download all of my mods by the way. And I have the ultimate edition of FNV (so all of the dlc)
  21. I cannot find any information related to this, sorry if such info already exists. The in-game mod manager is buggy and lacking in mod but I'm afraid I might mess the game up if I install new mods through nexus mod manager.
  22. So I haven't really modded any game as much as FO4 before so I apologise if I seem ignorant to modding in general. Before the latest manager update I had a number of creation club creations I purchased working alongside the mods I use. Since the update there are plugins appearing in the manager for the creations I bought. I don't know if they're supposed to be there but they weren't before the update and I have a message telling me the game won't launch with this many active plugins. Is there a way I can remove these plugins (or change things somehow) and keep both my mods and creations in the game?

I have 3 different mod profiles currently for Skyrim, my main one that has all my current mods & was used to try out new ones, my 2nd one for playing as 2B and my 3rd for playing as Widowmaker (both of these have their specific NPC-texture related mods). However I have a sheer number of new mods that aren't on the 2B & Widowmaker profiles & having to make fresh new profiles for them would take a long time to do & so would activating each new mod on them one by one, especially cuz of how i customized a few manually installed mods & mods with fomod installers. So I want to know if there's a way to make 2 copies of the main profile I have now so they have the same load order & installer options as the original. Then I'd just activate the specific mods on each profile needed for a 2B & Widowmaker PC. Is this possible or do I have to start fresh & activate all the mods I need on both profiles from scratch?
  24. I have this issue, where I can´t log into my NMM account, beacuse it couldn´t connect with the servers. One of there reasons mentioned was, that my firewall blocked the connection, but when I gave NMM access through the firewall it still didn´t let me log in. Now I don´t know how to proceed. I can´t uninstall NMM, otherwise all mods would disappear. All ideas are welcome. (sorry for my possibly faulty english, it isn´t my native tongue)
