  1. Hi. I recently modded my FO4 and I played for a few hours on High settings. I saved and quit the game like usual and upon a nexus start up I noticed my mod was missing an ESP file and I had forgotten to download Armorsmith Extended. I downloaded it, booted up the game and started getting random CTD's. I have all the requirements for said file and have double checked to make sure I didn't miss something. I use LOOT for my load order so I'm almost positive my load order is correct. I decided to start a new save and started experiencing CTD's when walking outside of the home. I deleted all my mods, uninstalled nexusMM, uninstalled and reinstalled my fallout and tried again. I downloaded the live another life mod and started in Vault 111. Everything was fine up until I was being sent up the elevator from the vault and I had another CTD upon entering outside. Not sure what it could be because I ran everything fine for hours before when I played with my graphic settings(keep in mind I set my settings to medium-low that time) and I have everything up to date graphics wise and also for Windows 10.   2. So my game is pretty modded, about 100 or so plugins, which work mostly fine together, don't have too many problems. But the big problem i'm having is the game crashes about 1/4 of the time i go outside from an inside cell. Basically if i try to go through a door that leads outside, there's a 1/4 chance of the game crashing, and it's extremely irritating. I'll attach my plugins list and papyrus logs to help with this.   3. Hey all, I'd like a mod which would make your companions unessential, even when your not in hardcore mode if possible. Or if one exists already, point me to it, because I can't find any mods that make companions unessential. Cheers, BayK.
  4. Hello everyone. I have an issue I need help with. I have been playing and modding Skyrim for quite some time with many successful fixes and whatnot. I have recently installed an SSD and removed Windows 10 (what a pain!!!!) and have reinstalled vanilla Skyrim and am modding again. I have all my favorite mods installed and works like a charm.... Until I go outside. As soon as I get outside for maybe about 2 minutes, the game crashes. I would REALLY appreciate a little help on this one.
  5. Hi, i have been having ctd's for a while where if i try to go outside, or even start a new game i get a CTD. I've already uninstalled and reinstalled all my mods, but its still happening.   6. Hey, guys. I am having issues with extreme exterior lag. Any interior anywhere is a solid 60 fps, but as soon as I walk outside 15~25 fps. The biggest mods (i have 103 plugins) : Project Nevada New Vegas Redesigned 3 NMC Texture Pack (Large) WMX My specs: 12 gb RAM GeForce 750ti 2 gb Pentium II x2 521 (I know.....saving for a major upgrade here) I have the 4 gb launcher and stutter remover, and NO background programs running. I always use LOOT, and always re-create bashed patch to ensure no compatibility issues between mods. I also have the Realism ENB, but oddly enough, I gain absolutely 0 fps by disabling effect. What is going on here? I can run Skyrim on Ultra with 100+! If you need my full load order, or ANY extra information, please let me know Always grateful for advice and tips, Chris Dovahkiin
  7. When outdoors, I experience an unignorable lighting glitch. During night, the ground and sky will be bright, and everything else will be just as dark as it normally would be (with CoT nights level 4). The ground will also periodically flash even brighter (about every 3 seconds when moving, much slower when idle.) What's even more puzzling about this is that everything a specific distance away will look very dark.   8. Hey Guys, I need to fix a mod I made awhile ago which messed up NPC's movements. The way im thinking of going about this is to expand on the area and which will allow me to design it so that the add in items are not squashed together with some of the things that are there already. The way I want to do this is to make the new section with the add-ins and then place it as a whole so that I do not mess with the various box markers etc. The are im talking about is the Skyforge. So, my question is this, If I add the new section will the navmesh for this be auto generated, I mean if its a outside zone im expecting a yes it will but im not sure if Whiterun is considered a outside or inside when it comes to navmesh, im hoping inside so I can do my own navmesh as I kinda like doing it.   9. So Ive been having random CTDs (crash to desktop) recently. I play on Survival difficulty and a lot of the mods I have been running for ages without problems. I tried everything i found online or could think of: removed some mods, reinstalled everything and even changed to MO2 from NMM. I even found some bugs in the mods and got them fixed if they were local or reported them if they werent. Alltogether, I gained some stability, but still, my game keeps crashing randomly. Its not the savefile, I started a new game and got random CTDs there, too. Its not specific places either, I might CTD everywhere, as long as its outside. (Maybe its happening inside now, too, as you can probably imagine its hard getting anywhere) Id appreciate any help I can get, and thank you in advance for your work.   10. Hey, so, my 200+ modded skyrim has mostly been working fine, and I have a lvl 17 character by now. I've installed/uninstalled/updated a few mods during this small playthrough, but nothing too major or dependent on scripts (or so the mod authors say/omit), and I've always followed the author's instructions on how to uninstall/update/install the mods whenever they provided them. I also always check for incompatibilities and patches, as well as load order (which I manage myself). It's been working fine for quite a while, when last week, I suddenly started getting random CTDs whenever I was moving and outside. First it was right beside Whiterun (which I assumed had something to do with JK's Whiterun at first, since it makes that area considerably more sluggish), but then it stopped, and happened again an hour or so later near Dawnstar. Seems to happen mostly anywhere now, as long as it is outside, and I'm moving, though I can't say for sure that it happens absolutely everywhere. It doesn't seem to be save bloat, as the save files are all just around 5000-6000 kB, and they haven't increased in size by any unreasonable or suspicious degree relative to previous saves. I've also tried uninstalling/updating mods like SkyBe Roads, Frostfall & Campfire, Practice Dummies, Smilodon, Simply Bigger Trees and such. Doesn't seem to make a difference. Sometimes the game lasts a bit longer before crashing, but it varies with the same mods and there doesn't seem to be any pattern. Like... I've waited so long to get back into this. I'm not a modder, I don't want nor do I have the time to learn how to become an expert at modding to the point where I only use manual saves, where I clean my saves whenever I tweak one single mod, where I make bashed patches and use MO or Wrye. I just really wanted to play a better Skyrim, even more so during the holidays, when I'm on break from university. It's sadly one of the few things I really had to look for, which makes it so much more demoralizing and depressing whenever I try my best and waste hours (days, even!) trying to properly install and manage the mods I want while not having to become a "professional modder" (if you guys know what I mean), only for it to lull me into thinking it's finally working fine, only to suddenly and irreversibly crash on me when I was literally about to stop modding and start fully playing. And it was such a nice character too, god. Next thing will probably be starting from scratch, installing way less mods from all of these, on a brand new character, and not add anything to it ever. Though, from what I experienced the first time I modded Skyrim, like 3 years or so ago, I'll probably never find the willpower to even take this next step, seeing how last time and how this time both ended so frustratingly. Sorry for the venting. It's late, and all I wanted to was to play one of my favorite games, but now all I feel is mostly empty. So much time spent on this only for nothing, time that could've been spent actually having fun, playing other games or trying other stuff.
  11. As the title suggests, I'm getting the weirdest, and most game-breaking fps lag outside. It never seems to occur around the bends of mountains, or up in the mountains themselves, (i'm running a constant smooth 60 fps there), but in other places it suffers. Also for some reason, I can be running through a place outside with terrible fps, and then sometimes, randomly but not often for some reason in that same exact spot it will just clear up for seamingly no reason. It's also VERY IMPORTANT to note that in interior cells (dungeons, taverns, etc) the game runs like SMOOTH BABY BUTTER, I'm talking 60 fps, no stutter or lag for any reason whatsoever. Is anybody else having this problem? I can't be the only one having this problem. Here's my load order.   12. Hello Everyone ! Sorry to bother you with what seems to be a pretty simple issue, but I've been stuck with it for month now... Okay, so basicaly, my game works perfectly fine in interiors cells (I use Alternate Start, the game start correctly, and if I choose a start that leads me into in interrior cell, it work, i.e: chosing I own a property). But as soon as I try to go outside, the game CTD... I used to sort my mods in "categories" found in this guide, and be sure to order them, after enabeling them in MO, in WryeBash, checking for dependencies. And it gave me the same results. Now, I just installer all my mods without checking the enabeling order, and sorting them in LOOT. And same problem.   13. Hi All, my problem is that i literally cannot go outside a town. As soon as i attempt to leave a town, it just zones me back inside the town after the loading screen. I have about 100 mods installed, one of which is alternate start, if i try one of the starting modes that would normally place me out in the land somewhere, it spawns me inside the riverwood inn and if i try to leave, it puts me back in there after the loading screen. I can start in whiterun, but as above, if i try to leave, i end up back inside. I have done a bit of a seatch but have not found anything similar. Before i go deactivating mods one by one, does anyone know of this problem or know any mods that are known to cause this issue? Thanks in advance

  15. I played F:NV for a couple of hours after buying it, but now when I play it crashes about 2 seconds into the loading screen if I try to go outside. I can get around this by using the console to teleport to Primm. Then I can usually go in and out of buildings without a crash. After wandering a bit I got the same crash on leaving the abandoned shack next to the Yangtze Memorial. If I load a save that was outside I get the same crash. Things I've Tried: Disabling all mods: no effect. Playing windowed and disabling HDR and Bloom (solved a similar problem for somebody else): no effect. Rolling back Nvidia driver (I had updated it before the problem started): no effect. Verifying the game cache: replaced 2 files, no effect. Starting a new game: crashed on trying to leave Doc's house, no effect. Reinstalling F:NV: See below, no effect. I'm trying a full re-install now, but I don't have much hope that it'll fix anything since I've already verified the game cache. I'll update this with the results of that expiriment. EDIT: After re-installing, I was able to load an indoor save and leave, and then load an outdoor save. Then, on entering a building and leaving again I had the same crash. My pc info: Nvidia GeForce GT 540 6 gigabytes RAM Intel Core i7 @ 2.0ghz Windows 7 64-bit (I've been running F:NV on low graphics settings so I can get a reasonable framerate.) Does anybody have any idea what's wrong/how to fix it?

Only the 4 gig drive is being used fully, though. I'm not maxing out my memory, or vram, or cpu, according to GPU-Z and my task manager. I've already set my ini to allow extra time for scripts, gotten Hialgoboost, and used the texture optimizer. Every texture replacer I have is the lowest option provided. I'm using CoT, but no other lighting mods, and no ENB. I have BOSS with user rules for any unrecognized plugins, Wrye Bash with a bashed patch, I've cleaned every mod I'm confident with in TES5Edit. I've gotten every relevant compatibility patch I'm aware of. I'm using SUM to handle my three reproccers, and the FNIS tool when I play with animation mods. First and foremost, I struggle when approaching cities. I was freezing before, but ever since fiddling with my mods, I've been able to get closer. Usually, I still crash if I get too close to a city, though. Quite by chance, I found out that Arthmoor is having a similar issue. This means it's almost certainly due to Open Cities, but if not, it'd be good to know. Almost tied for disruptiveness, a fair portion of the time, saves made outside don't load. Sometimes if I try to load it a second time, it works, other times the save is unusable. This is without fiddling with anything between making the save and trying to load it. The saves don't freeze or CTD, I just get a black screen when it 'finishes' loading. Audio continues, despite the black screen, but gameplay does not seem to. It's all ambient noise, like water flow, and music. This issue I've made a post about before, but I'm still unable to find the source, and that thread never got a response. I've got a popup with the word "SWAG" and nothing else every time I start a new character. Even going through my mods in TES5Edit I can't seem to find the source... I've also force-crashed and checked my log. At this point, I'm wondering if the popup is induced by a script. If anyone knows what mod causes this, you would have my thanks and kudos! When using Dovahkiin and the Apprentice of Thu'um, I get crashes when on Solstheim. I thought this might be an conflict between Arthmoor's Alternate Start: Live Another Life, and the quest, but I'm not sure. I only encountered the issue when starting on Solstheim with a new character, but I've not been to Solstheim on a pre-existing character since getting Dovahkiin and the Apprentice of Thu'um. Currently, I've uninstalled the quest mod, and I'm wondering if anyone can confirm or deny encountering this issue? I'm using the DG + DB variation of the quest, so that shouldn't be the issue. Lastly I had an issue which I solved recently, in case anyone else is using Dual Sheath Redux having that same issue, this might help. My left hand sheaths, and shield when I had it sheathed on my back, would float between my legs in first person. This issue, for me, was a conflict between SkyRe and Dual Sheath Redux. Disabling the SkyRe races module solved the issue immediately. However, I'm unsure if the problem resulted from DSR, SkyRe, or xp32 Maximum Skeleton: it could have been a conflict between any combination of those. Anyway, sorry for the long post.   17. Hi. I can't seem to load any saves that are outside (I can load games saved inside but can't exit). I am unable to start a new game. I tried giving the game more memory with SSME and uninstalling my enb but nothing worked. Here is my CSV. I have 227 mods loaded but I don't think mods are the issue because I can't load anything in Vanilla anyway. I already checked the plugins list and all the obvious things. I am running Skyre by the way.   18. I'd love to see a mod, where the kids from Honorhall get an outside playtime, after we do away with the old bat? Either in the streets of Riften or in a little play area of some kind. The other kids run around, why not Honorhall kids?

So i have a relatively light loadup, but whenever the game has to load a chunk of terrain outside (example when i cross the small bridge near windhelm and it loads the waterfall and mountains) the game crashes.
