  1. Hi forum, would it be possible for someone to port over the hazmat and cowl from old world blues. If possible maybe the hooded variant as
  2. So i got to thinking, why are we limited to just 2 options with our brain? We could easily add 2 more options, both making your brain a companion. The first is to put it in a Robobrain robot. The second would be to put it in a device like the "scientists" use, the floating brain pods.
  3. (First off~ formalities, I don't know if this category is where these actually belong, so yeah~ Sorry in advance if this is the incorrect area.)
  4. Dr Möbius is one of my absolutely favorite characters in new vegas, so this is my idea for a quest i couldn't find anything like it so here it goes. After the end of OWBs you can talk to möbius for a quest to put his brain back into his body, then you have to go around big mountain digging up pieces of him fable 2 style then re assemble him in the forbiddin dome once he's all put together and you put the brain back in his body you get him as a companion
  5. For some reason, the Sink Auto-Doc's interface never shows up. When I say "I'd like to engage your service", the dialogue window disappears, but the interface doesn't appear at all. Even after I turned off the sink personalities, the Auto-Doc still has dialogue window (It's the only personality that does that, every other works fine.) instead of the heal, surgery, implant, etc... interface. I even tried disabling every plug in except OWB, the problem's still there. Help?
  6. Hellow everyone. I am an avid FNV player and like most we enjoy the addons quite a bit. I always found owb to be my favorite. I was wondering, while it may be a long and tedious venture if this idea would be a fun thing to try. Idea is to redo big mountain before it got all trashed or maybe make it to look like it would in the future (after couriers time). Like some places are rebuilt and dirty areas are cleaned up using prewar textures. broken towers and rusty parts are replaced with newer things. rubble, skeletons and hostiles are either rare or removed. the train cars are all back on track. Rebuild the bontanical garden/y17 medial center. idk stuff like this... id try it out for myself but im not quite skilled enough for this type of thing. (i actually dont know how to mod anything at all) ;( ^on that note does anyone have a source for tutorials instead of youtube? my internet is almost too slow to load videos. even if it doesnt happen doesnt it sound interesting? like a tranquility lane type of experience. thanks.
  7. I would be incredibly fond of an Excavator Power Armor Mod. I am aware that this has already been requested. Another mod (which would be incredibly difficult to pull off) would be the K9000 Cyberdog gun, with dog sound effects and .357. I would be grateful to anyone willing to take on these tasks.
  8. I've resumed playing FNV after several months and I've been bopping along just fine with my heap of mods running, UNTIL I got to Old World Blues (currently lvl 17). For some reason the Lobotomites and Y-17 Trauma Harnesses are spawning with 1hp each. Even wierder, if I reload a game with one of these guys already visible, after the reload it SHOWS them having 186hp or whatever (some perk or mod or something), but they still go down with one shot. I haven't gotten very far in OWB so it might apply to other monsters, but it doesn't apply to the roboscorpions, I know that much. I've tried shuffling the load order and rebuilding the merged patch but no change. FNVEdit shows no errors, the merged patch is all green.   9. I found a weapon called "Meat Mine" among the OWB files. It was cut from the game before release but I can find it - and add it- via GECK or console. Likewise I can find it using FNVEdit. But - I want to find the .nif file and unpacked the OWB bsa. However it is nowhere to be found. Then I tried unpacking the FNV bsa - still no luck. Looking in the GECK I get as follows: Editor ID: NVDLC03WeapMeatMine Model is: Clutter\food\strak01.nif 1stperson model object: NVDLC031stPersonMeatMine Projectile: NVDLC03MineMeat My problem is that it only explodes when shot at. Not - as a frag mine- using a proximity fuse as well. NightHawk suggested I opened it in Nifscope to figure out the differences between the FragMine and the MeatMine. But that is impossible when I cannot even FIND the .nif file! I am by now out of ideas. So any ideas as to what to do will be most welcome. I DID try to change the projectile to "MineFragProjectile". Worked fine except that when thrown it looks like a frag mine - oddly enough!!
  10. Hello, Nexus Community. Wondering if anyone here has any experience recreating the Atomic Tri-Radii Valence Accentuator / Valence Radii Accentuator from Fallout New Vegas' DLC Old World Blues. They seem basic enough to make - a transparent, holographic halo ring and atomic-shaped headwear that encircles the users head and makes them slowly regenerate health over time. I'm talking of course about that nifty little unique headwear you can find in the Big MT :smile: Would anyone be kindly willing to turn this into a Fallout 4 equipment mod? I would be super thankful and appreciative to anyone who could! ^^ Super big thanks in advance. :laugh:
  11. So like the title mentions I have a strange bug that when I load up OWB within seconds of being in the dlc proper my screen will turn bright white and does not go away. Ive looked all over and couldnt find any info on this does anyone have any idea what it could be? I dont have any lighting mods like fellout installed.
  12. I recently began playing all the DLCs in my New Vegas run and I stumbled on a very major bug. I wanted to begin OWB but after a couple of slides in the intro, it just stops talking. It's not a hard freeze, I can still save and load and use console commadns but it just stops talking and I become stuck. I encountered the same exact issue at the end of Lonesome Road which fixed itself randomly with no explanation. I tried restarting it twice but it didn't work. I have 4gb patch, mod limit fix, NVTF, new vegas heap replacer, nvac, jip ln nvse plugin and johny guitar plugin.
  13. The only mod I have installed in my game is TTW, and before I had installed it I had no issues with talking to the CIU. I'm hesitant to remove TTW for the sake of one crash because FNV is way more stable than FO3, however if I'm not able to solve this issue I may just do it. Anyone know if there's a fix? I've tried looking stuff up but I'm not seeing any real discussion about it.
