  2. Is it impossible to add new weapon models and animations to add functioning firearms? I ask because I'm surprised that Deckard's pistol from Blade Runner hasn't been added to the game. Can the gun be added?
  3. A weapon / companion mod that based on Megatron from The Transformers cartoon back in the day. Some kind of quest(s) that involves an evil robot able to transform into a powerful pistol with insane customizations that affects Megatron's transformations and companion abilities. Once you finish the questline and defeat Megatron and the Raiders / Gunners that are using him to spread fear throughout the Commonwealth, you can repair and reprogram him to have a voiced robot companion that transforms into a powerful pistol and tells hilarious stories about his time with the Raiders / Gunners having issues with recoil shooting themselves in the foot or whatever wacky thing works. I realize a mod like this would take a lot of work and it would be way too much trouble to have animations of Megatron transforming back and forth from a pistol into a robot companion but the transformation could be based off the favorites menu, and a "transform" noise based off the cartoon.
  4. I want the pistol that is equipped in the briefcase to be the same one appearing in the cutscenes. by default, all cutscenes have leon using the silver ghost, the starting pistol in the game. I wanted for example, if I have a red9 equipped, in the cutscenes that there is a pistol, whether it is appearing, instead of the silver ghost. it's possible? because pistols have different shapes and sizes I imagine it might be difficult, no? Anyway, I hope it's possible.
  5. Hi there, I am a fan of modding Fallout 4 but there are a few mod ideas I have that I have not seen done before. As I am no mod creator, I do not know the process of making my own mods, and I wouldn't have the time to in most cases anyways. So I want to request a mod that brings one of my favorite real life pistols into the world of Fallout. The COP .357 Derringer. Its unique design I would say fits right in the world of Fallout, and I wouldn't doubt people would think (if this gun was already in the game) that it belonged to the Fallout universe and wasn't real, but this is besides the point. I have a few ideas for this mod, and I do want to be hands on in the creation of it. Specifically, I want to be able to say how I want the reload animation to look like, what modifications there might be, simple things like that. However I do have some other requests that might require a better skillset in weapon modding, if not, they might be impossible. Before any work is started on the gun, I would like to discuss the details of some of these ideas that I have, especially the more advanced ones. Consider that I want this mod to pay a lot of attention to detail. I won't settle for modified default animations or basic reloads or an okay model. I do want to have everything be exceptional quality. In terms of balancing, and the weapon being added to the level list so that it may spawn on other NPCs, that can be discussed later with me. Also, this is my first time requesting basically anything in my life, specifically something I want to be involved in, so please do forgive me if I don't seem I understand certain things or that I might not have the best communication skills. And in that regard, I can be pretty bad at explaining things, so please have some patience with me if such an issue came to be. I want this to be a very friendly and open thing between me and whomever might want to work with me to make this, if there is anyone.   6. Is there a way to competely swap unity into a revolver? Or some other way to hold it with one hand to actually SEE it?
  7. As name suggests - add to New Vegas Johnny Silverhand's gun Malorian Arms 3516 from Cyberpunk (2077), with those overdramatic animations. And since script extender on a rampage with it's functionality - make also functional melee with short range flamethrower. And also take in consideration it's special abilities, like piercing through walls, or at least make it pierce through armor with any ammo type (in CP77 it pierce through walls when looking through ironsight)
  8. Hey Chooms!!! I'm John Copyright, I'm 19 years old and I've been a fan of cyberpunk 2077 since it was announced in 2018. I watched all 48 minutes of gameplay and was impressed with the work of CD PROJEKT RED. If I write to you on this forum, it is to talk to you about a gun. If you've watched the game's 48 minutes of gameplay, you should know about the weapons not added to the game, like the Malorian "Reaver" MDE 1984, the pistol that Jackie Welles, Militech's Bodyguard and Royce have used in 2018 gameplay. It would be really cool if you could add the extra weapon or skin that will replace the Nue Tsunami or the Constitutional Arms Liberty pistol (it's up to you). Otherwise keep it up, I'm sure CD PROJEKT RED could recruit you for the next DLC to come. thanks in advance and good luck chooms!!!
  9. Greetings! I would like for someone to add the Handgun A.K.A the "Silver Ghost" from Resident Evil 4 into the world of Fallout New Vegas. I have no idea what I am to do to even start creating mods, so at the very least if someone can point me in the right direction to create it myself that would be great too.

I've been looking for a one handed pistol animation for a Vault dweller gunslinger play though and although there is a one for revolvers, some that replace the deliverer with a different gun and animation and even one that makes laser pistols one handed but there isn't any for the 10mm or classic 10mm handgun. If there is one hidden under a strange name or if there just happens to be a talented animation mod author that is looking to add something no one else seems to have done yet then I would love to hear about it!
  11. I was wondering if anyone would be willing to make a mod that adds the Beretta 92FS Samurai Edge Wesker Special from Resident Evil 7. I think it's a very good looking, and iconic weapon, that would fit in the game well. I think it would be great, especially with the different attachments that can be added. In my opinion, it already looks fantastic with the suppressor and underbarrel flashlight, but could be even better with the addition of a reflex sight. I hope someone will be willing to undertake this project, because I would really love to see this in game. Especially because any assets created for Fallout 4 could be used to add the weapon to Fallout 76 once it's been released and has mod support.   12. You know, one thing I always wanted was for my one of my main weapons in Fallout New Vegas to fire energy rings, instead of ball lightning. Ring lightning I suppose, or a tauroid. There's this classic energy weapons mod for New Vegas and it has the YK-32 Pulse Pistol in it, and it's a classic, badass looking raygun. https://www.nexusmod...gas/mods/38742/ The particle is cool, but I would prefer a purple ring blast instead. Don't change the stats or anything, or the speed, or the sound, don't change anything but the way the particle effect looks. So that it's more accurate to the actual pulse pistol and rayguns in general. If any of you can make this a really cool ring that would be wonderful. If you need any added info, please ask for it. I would also like to maybe see another raygun in New Vegas, only this one is so epic it's going to have it's own custom stats. The gun I am referring to is known as the Righteous Bison. It’s an epic ray gun from Team fortress 2, and quite honestly it’s a GALACTIC SHAME this gun hasn’t been somehow implemented in Fallout as a mod weapon. It’s such a Fallout gun. See, originally the Bison had 4 shots, which you can recharge using the pump at the back. It’s a pump action raygun. That being said however, the projectiles moved slow as f*#@ and it’s a horrible gun in most combat scenarios, as it relies on situational ambush tactics. It lacks versatility. HOWEVER. Man VS Machine does it justice...Somewhat.I know Team Fortress 2’s Bison only has 4 shots, and slow projectiles but this New Vegas version should have 8 shots, each and every shot being rechargeable, as well as the projectiles moving MUCH faster. Faster than a plasma bolt in Fallout but not bullet or laser fast. Fast but still moderately dodgeable. And as I said, if you fire off 1 shot, 2 shots, 7 shots, or all 12 shots, you need to reload each and every shot individually, but the pump reload should be fairly quick. That being said, I always loved the way the rings of energy from the Bison look. They look badass, and I have sources showing the way the gun operates in-game, as I've shown you all. The effects it has on it’s targets in Fallout would either be the same as in TF2 ONLY for critical hits (if you can port it) or just an ashy effect . Otherwise it just hits them like laser or plasma would, maybe even add a flashy electric effect. So it's a rechargeable weapon, it can't break, and it has a fairly quick projectile speed, fire rate, etc. Now for damage. 50 damage. Definitely a lot, but this baby is a true FIERCE raygun that puts normal Fallout weapons to f*#@ing shame, so it should do lots of damage. So...What do you fine people think? Can this be done? It would mean, so, SO much to me if both ideas can be brought to reality.
  13. I'm looking for a mod that adds a pistol to the game. However,I have a few criteria. 1) It must be ballistic. Pew-pew lazzors and plasma is nice and all,but I have a soft spot for kinetics. 2) It must be self-loading. To all you gun-educated people in the room,you know precisely what this means. To everybody else; No revolvers. No lever-action. No pump-action. No bolt-action. 3) It must be a viable primary weapon. It should be able to serve as my go-to gun,capable of killing most enemies I point it at without dumping 10+ magazines into it. In particular,I want it to outperform the Deliverer,because my character isn't James Bond. 4) It must have modification options. I want a gun that I have to put some TLC into to make it work. 5) It must be balanced. I'm not looking for a god gun. If I wanted to use the Thumb of God,I'd bust open FO4Edit to turn the Pipe Gun into a monster. I'm looking for something that performs well,but doesn't kill everything in the strategic area with one shot. Some nice bonuses would be leveled list integration,and no new ammo type to worry about. Negative on these would be a pretty big deterrent for use,but not entirely deal breaking. I already have the Institute Pistol,but it lacks leveled list integration,and I'm unsure if it outperforms the Deliverer; I've yet to get one and mod it.
  14. So, recently started playing FO4 again. Whenever I take out my 10mm pistol it sounds like a machine gun or a flamer or something. Not sure which as I don't use heavy guns, but it's definitely different than the vanilla sound effect. I don't really use any weapon sound effect mods that I can figure and I dug around in the sound files folder and couldn't find anything like what I'm hearing. The only thought I have is that whatever mod added the BL-28 blaster (don't know which one added that TBH) somehow did this, since that uses the same mesh. Anyone else had similar issues or know which mod might have caused this? My load order is as follows, have all the DLC and thanks in advance! Edit: The 10mm.esp just resizes the gun, doesn't change any sound effects and uninstalling it did not fix this issue. Edit 2: NVM I figured it out. I'm embarrassed that I didn't immediately know what it was.   18. I remember Fallout New Vegas has WAR, Weapon Animation Replacers, and hey had this, but it would be very nice to have it for Fallout 4 for those of us that like our gunslinger characters.
  19. Hey Folks, this is a concept I recently did and I figured I'd see if anyone would be interested in it. It's based on George Washington's pistol and has 3 mods, a rifled choke, a magazine to increase shot count from one to fave and a sight. I carefully scaled everything so all the animations from the bolt action pipe pistol would fit perfectly, even with differences like the barrel diameter and the general shape of the handle. The three modifications were designed so they wouldn't change the original weapon itself and are just added on as well. Hope people like what they see and I'd love to hear some feedback.   20. Someone should make a mod that duplicates the .44 Pistol with Rip Hunter's Laser Pistol from LOT. It should use fusion cells as ammo, fire blue lasers and have a blue glow around the ammo holder. Also it should sound like it's firing lasers and not bullets. PS. Please make this available on PS4!
  21. I need some help with a standalone gun for Fallout 4. I'm planning on adding the famous Auto 9 Pistol from the two films Robocop and Sin City, but I can't figure out how to use nifskope nodes to make my 3D models into an in-game weapon. Could someone with more experience/talent take over for this last portion of this small project?
