Since the player dies in iron man mode and it deletes the save, to further the feeling of permadeath it'd be cool to have the player's character model also randomize, similar to the feeling of getting random team members when some die. bonus points if it can give a matching pick of voice when it assigns the character
  2. Hello, as the title said I am missing head on my character after applying some modes. I had Better Heads set up and then I tried adding all of the redone heads/faces by MacKom. When the game started Better Heads was still active and there was no changes. Then I started it again with it deselected (also added Hair packs to fix double ears) and everyone had the right face. Everyone except my character who lost his head! Even the other male Bretons... I included screenshots that show that mesh is clearly missing. Also when I try activating Better Heads again it only shows ears... If anyone has any idea how can I restore him to his previous state I would be very thankful!
  3. So I want to add the player's name into the Header Text for a Terminal, however I'm unsure on how to do so. the CK wiki was unhelpful, and I cannot find anything that relates to this. Help???
  4. Hi. Idk what's the problem here, but for some reason all human characters including player character have this weird issue where their skin has weird white flickering. I tried uninstalling any skin textures or tweaking the .ini flies, but nothing worked.. :| Please help it's very annoying... :(
  5. I alternate characters to keep things fresh every once in a while but I hate having to do the same things again and again. So I got an idea for a mod that lets you create another character that you can swap to and when you aren't that character he can be your follower or wait in an inn. I'm not very good at modding but I presume the most difficult part of this would be to change the players skills and inventory, I've already seen a mod (I can't remember the name) that links all your characters in some hall and shows their appearance and achievements so I guess it could be done by changing the body of one to the other and saving the presets.
  6. For some mindbending reason, the developers either feared to be seen as endorsing smoking, so while you can have all sorts of addictive drugs in the Commonwealth, you cannot smoke. And only you cannot, as it seems like everyone else lights up all the time. I personally like to roleplay, and for certain types of characters, it would be fitting that they get all sorts of addictions and bad habits as they try to cope with how the world turned out and what they lost. It would be awesome if: - You could light up manually - As the addiction goes on, the character might do it on its own during dialogue - There would be a very minor boost, with diminishing returns, to something, and a very gradual health-, injury-, or radiation hazard. - Handshaking and blurry vision (instead of a headache, as that would be difficult to do) when detoxing
  7. I want to create a player home with a ring or spell that will teleport you there when you use it. I could make a local script and attach it to the ring, this won't be very difficult to do but then the PC will continiously have an extra active script when carrying the ring around. This seems like a bad idea perfomance wise but perhaps this isn't much of an issue anymore in 2022? I figured it would be easier to add a spell to the PC and have the script activate when you cast the spell but I don't know if that's possible without MWSE. Should I create the ring with the local script or can I make a spell?
  8. Hello all. I've owned The Witcher 3 since it released, thanks to getting it included for free on a GPU purchase. At launch and over the years since then, I've tried multiple times to get into it and play through it, but the downright primitive character movement and animations completely ruin the experience for me. I've looked around some for a mod that overhauls this to be more of what should be expected of a AAA studio, but haven't come across anything in my time. Does anyone know of a mod that does this? I would love to get into this game and have the same amount of hype as everyone else, but I just can't look past it as it looks like something a high schooler accomplished on their first few attempts at making their own game. Believe me, I've tried.

A while back I was experimenting with changing the faces of NPCs and I stumbled upon a mod (don't remember the name, sorry) that allowed you to do this by controlling the NPC and using showracemenu. It worked pretty well until both the NPCs' and my player character's faces started changing to one specific face (see image). At the time I was certain it was because of the mod and thought reloading a save from before I used the mod and uninstalling it would fix the issue. And it seemingly did. The problem is that after I started playing on the save again, the issue appeared again. The fact that reverting to an old save did not fix the issue suggests to me that it messed up something in the files and that it could be solved without starting a new character. I've also noticed that the face appears when I select certain things in the race menu, for instance nose type #32-35 or so. Any ideas what went wrong and if it could be resolved?
  10. Sometimes I just think about how cool it would be an Argonian preset that allows it to look like or almost like a Revered Dragon.. I just like how outlandish and alien they look.. maybe the texture.. a head that is more "flat" and bigger eyes..(the spikes/horns maybe as hair options?) and the player could have a "revered argonian" as a extra race maybe..(if it's less hard than an actual preset) a legendary dragon's eye option to have that three-spheres looking eye. What you guys think ? Or maybe a more "serpentine" looking options for the player char so we can have the most unique and menacing/cool looking Argonian. Plus, if there is an infinity number of realities.. it means that at least in one of them, one version of you (mod maker) will do it just for the goodness of your heart for a stranger or even for you too becuz it will look cool as oblivion.   11. Now that Below Zero is in Early Access, I wonder if it would be possible to port the female model to base Subnautica? Given that there's basically no dialogue in the main game (first game? I'm not sure what to call it since Below Zero is standalone), it shouldn't be hugely impactful to the game to port in the female protag from Below Zero. I remember awhile back that Unknown Worlds was thinking about adding a selectable gender system to the base game when 1.0 came out, but it seems like that isn't going to happen at this point. I quite enjoy the base game, and I quite enjoy the new protagonist in BZ, so being able to play as her in the base game would be nice in my opinion. I haven't modded Subnautica myself, so I have no idea how difficult it would be, but it seems like it would be as simple as porting the model and some sound effects to replace the ones for the male, am I right? And if anyone knows if someone is already on this, a link to the mod so I could keep an eye on the progress would be dope.

"MOD REQUEST" I would pay for a mod (And I'm guessing a lot of others would to) that created a voice frequency slider or some other means of at least changing the voice of the playable characters in Assassins creed origins to match the sex of the played character. I was excited to go back to the game when I heard about the ability to play a variety of both male and female characters until I set up a female character and started playing to find it still had Bayeks voice. But of course this is Ubisoft...LOL
  13. I'd like to start a small mod that changes the face and body of my char to appear "old" - possibly through the race menu, so I can choose when my character is old. I haven't unequipped a greybeard so I'm not sure if they have neck seams, but something along those lines. Changing the player character to an old/mature model. Really, all I'd need to figure out is how to get my char to have an older looking face, and that would be adequate.. But I'm not sure how I would go about that. If it's done in the CK, I might as well tweak the body too though. I'm guessing I have to create a new body form in CK that I access in the race menu? Could I copy a greybeard's form and do that with little hassle or would that bug out? (at least, for nord) For people who think they may know some clues to where I should be focusing on in the CK, I could use some help. Especially for tying the CK data to showracemenu sliders. TL;DR I want to link "old/mature" face texture and "old/mature" body texture into the showracemenu sliders so I can choose to have an aged look. (Or, if you know a better way..?) ***Willing to input data for sliders for every race and release it as a mod if it works well enough. This doesn't have to happen immediately, I'm patient so please if you can help, post a comment or send me a PM. Especially if I'm not on the right track..... If there's a better way to be doing this PLEASE tell me before I start messing with CK data. Thanks.
  14. Hey there Nexus! I just recently installed and modded Skyrim up to the gums (again), but the Main Menu has just been looking a little duller and duller every time I open it. (Frequent crashing and reopening doesn't help, but I digress.) So, I got to thinking, and I thought of this: Would it be possible to have the main menu screen be your most recent player character, (cloak blowing ever so gently in the brisk Skyrim air), reading off of the most recent save game? I would love to personally make this mod, but I have absolutely no idea where to begin!
  15. This is something I've always wanted to be able to do: Select your character's voice type in the creation screen. For example, as listed in the Creation Kit, MaleDrunk, FemaleSultry, MaleBrute, MaleElfHaughty, etc.

Hey there, A while back I was watching Top Five Skyrim Mods of the Week and they showcased a mod that gave you two spells to partially take over any NPC(Make them a Follower), or fully take over any NPC(Make your PC a Follower and the NPC the PC with full inventory). This idea spawned from that mod, but I can't find it for the life of me. So, I'm here to try and find that mod's creator, or, to find someone who can do a similar thing with a twist. The Multiple PC mod would be a mod that allows you to have more than one character. Whenever I played Skyrim, I thought it to be pretty silly that the Dragonborn could do EVERYTHING in the story, even when groups like the Thieves Guild and Dark Brotherhood don't get along. So the idea to have more than one character came to mind when thinking how to do everything in game, but with more than one character. When I saw the spell mod I mentioned above, it occurred to me that if you can create any NPC for a mod, ect ect, and then take it over with that spell mod, you'd essentially have a newly created NPC. With a bit of refinement, I'm sure that this could become an easy and accessible mod for many people that will allow them to explore the whole of Skyrim, it's DLCs, and the expansive Mods people have created, while staying lore-friendly and realistic to boot. Now, I've never mad a mod, and I don't know the in's and out's, but from what I've seen, this should be possible, given a bit of elbow grease. Some main points that would need to be figured out are: Shouts for the DB onlyBounties in Holds for different PCsDifferent inventoriesDifferent leveling screens (perhaps it would be best to create a character with skills already set)A NPC/PC creation screen for easeDialogue triggers. If a newly created bandit pc visited the Greybeards, they shouldn't consider him the DBQuest restrictions. A Thieves Guild Member shouldn't be able to go and try to pick up a Brotherhood quest. A character already playing the Civil War quests should be the only to do so, ect ect. So, that's my idea and the problems I've seen with it so far. I think if an experienced modder actually took time to try and develop this, it could be one of the biggest mods to date, and would allow the creativity that so many players have to thrive and extend into multiple characters. So I've been roleplaying a group of about six characters for a while acting like they all exist in the same universe (Only one is the Dragonborn), and I thought it would be cool to have them all on one savegame so the characters could interact. with a multiple follower mod the team would be nearly invincible. Is there any mod like this out there?
  18. Hi there, Bit of a weird glitch here - my character is stuck as essential. If I lose all my health, instead of dropping dead, I crouch down like essential NPCs do when defeated. If anyone can work out what causes this and/or how I can fix it, I'd really appreciate it. Hi, I have a strange request: I want to know if there is a way to force a knockdown on the player character (me) when playing Skyrim so my character trips/falls over with the console or some other method. I want to know how to do this as a role playing tool/option, essentially. I know somebody is bound to ask why on Earth I would want to do this so I will explain. I am a seriously role player when it comes to this game and I am role playing a character that has limited experience in the wilds and traveling the country-side at the start of the game. So my character is naturally going to be very cautious, tense, and not very adept at navigating the wilds towards the beginning of is journey. He is going to have to rise to the occassion of filling the shoes of the Dragonborn (which will take awhile because I am putting the mainquest on hold for awhile for this character). I also have mods that make traveling the wilds significantly more dangerous: much harder combat, increased spawns, immediate and very, very deadly dragons, and so on. So what am I getting at... well, if my character encounters a dragon at earlyish levels he will not have even a chance of winning that fight, nor would he have the desire to try. Fleeing would be the ONLY option. I think my character would be absolutely petrified and, being very inexperienced in the wilds, and possibly a bit clumbsy, may trip and fall depending on the terrain while trying to run away from such a terrifying foe. Anybody know how I can do this? My sincere thanks in advance to whoever helps me!
  20. Hello, I was wondering if it was possible, using SKSE, to play a random animated idle used by NPC on your character. You can sometimes see followers play an animation stretching their muscles or checking their weapon blades when they do have weapon drawn or crossing their arm when waiting after you. And I was wondering if it was possible to get our own character using them and getting a little more immersion. Thanks PS: I hope it's understandable, I'm french and not sure of my English sometimes ;)
  21. So I have tested this both on Fallout 4 and Skyrim SE and the results are the same. The blood decals and sprays/squirt on hit work just fine on all NPCs, only the player character has this problem. Above 30 fps, the blood shows up just fine on player's body. Is there any way to fix this other than upgrading my PC (not possible right now)? I already tried the fallout 4 60 fps and physics fix but it didn't fix the problem. Thank you.
  22. hi folks, i've been digging for some kind of tutorial to try and figure out doing this myself but i'm very lost and i have very little coding knowledge (mainly html and visual basic, neither of which helps with this). i am but a simple transgender person who would greatly appreciate having a mod to either: a) remove gendered language towards the player (ex. hancock calling you "brother" or "sister" in different voice lines) -- or, failing that: b) make npcs perceive a "female" character as male (ex. address nora as sir, brother, etc.) and vice versa (ex. address nate as ma'am, sister, etc.) if this can only be done for companions or possibly main quest characters as well that would be okay too, since i'm well aware that random people who don't know a trans person are not necessarily going to guess that trans person's gender correctly (especially not the raider around the corner who is drugged out of his skull). at minimum i would want this kind of thing for romanceable companions (i love him, but i am so tired of hancock calling me the wrong gender) but i know that changing that much information is probably a lot of work. changing any pre-war dialogue is not necessary since it unfortunately feels accurate to have my gender be ignored by the perma-50s-era npcs before the war, and it's not a long section of the game anyway and y'know what if anyone knows how i could do this myself (without creation kit though, thank you) and can shoot me a tutorial instead i would be very glad to have that as well, since then i'm sure i could finesse the whole thing to my liking even if it inevitably takes me a lot of effort to learn this new skill (op's pronouns are they/them, not he/him or she/her. thank you!)
  23. when I see animerace mod, I always think about junko from the touhou project. if you know Touhou Project and use a female character in Fallout 4 you will understand what I mean. Fallout 4 story is a bit similar to the Junko story. there is even Junko artwork with a vault jumpsuit. maybe my request is just her clothes, hats and hair. about face, I can use animerace mod
