Hi, I've been looking for a mod that lets me independently change the volume of gunshots apart from all other sounds so I can set it very high so it has the same very high loudness real firearms have in real life for immersion purposes, I've also seen people complain about gunshots being too loud but other sound effects being too quiet already so they weren't able to turn it down, theoretically this should be pretty easy but I don't know the first thing about this kind of modding, just how to mod in basic items and scripts with GECK.

The mesh from this download Real Flying - wings Invisible while Folded Hides all lights visible on the player when folded I am hoping someone knows why that is and can maybe fix it, it is treated as an effect but also has a mesh. The main mod works perfectly and the difference between this option file is with this mesh in NIFSKOPE is that it has a NiControllerManager block that I suppose controls the hiding of the effect which lies the problem. It also has a changed corresponding behavior file with the optional download but I am not sure if that is the issue. More Info Looking into the problem "invisible wings when folded option" not producing any light on the character whatsoever. It only produces light when: - weapon is equipped or drawn (including 1h 2h bows crossbows and arrows) - when wings are spread out by jumping - when running or sprinting- When any effect is playing ie (wet and cold breath, get snowy effects, ) Again not expecting an answer but I like this mod and this is the only thing I know how to do.

I love the Tundra Defense mod, but have always wanted a more organic way of conquering Skyrim For those who don’t know, Tundra Defense is a brilliant mod which allows you to build and improve a base, all while defending it from raiders. My idea is to apply this to the holds of Skyrim, instead of one target (the well), all of the thrones are the targets of interest. When the player begins the game, he/she will be prompted to take control of a hold, either by killing the Jarl and Steward or gaining the favor of the hold (become thane, then help three people) after which the player can intimidate the Jarl to step down. After conquering his/her first hold, the player chooses a representative for that hold (if possible, any follower) which serves as a target for enemies, talking to the representative will allow the player to buy guards/soldiers, change taxes, or decide his/her allegiance. (Stormcloak, Imperial, Independent) Taxes will be the way of making money and taxes that are too high can increase the chances of a raid on a hold. Allegiance will be important, picking Stormcloak will make you an enemy of the imperials and give you a bonus of coin daily from Ulfric and vice versa for choosing Imperial. Choosing Independent will not only forfeit a bonus but make you an enemy of both sides. If the player decides to take a side after initially being independent he/she must pay a fine of 1000 coin times the number of days since the player’s initial decision. Guards can be placed (stationary) inside holds to defend against raids (When a raid hits a hold and he player is not present the computer calculates the number of guards, vanilla or modded, against the number of raiders to generate a victory. If that is not do able then simply adding a time of 48 hours to respond could also work.) If the player is present then he/she and the guards must kill the raiders and keep the representative alive. Soldiers are grouped together into one of three companies, A company, B company, C company. These can be given orders via dialog with their commanders (chosen follower), Follow me, wait here, Attack (chose hold) and Defend (chose hold). Attack (chose hold) will tell the company to attack a hold of the player’s choosing, after which the siege will begin on the hold for 48 hours, if the player doesn’t respond then the computer calculates the battle based on the size of the company and defending hold. If the player is present, commander and soldiers will spawn at the front gates and attempt to kill the guards, then the Jarl and Steward or the Representative. Defend (chose hold) will bolster a holds defenses and physically move the commander to the hold of choice. When under attack while the player is present, soldiers in the company will spawn off the commander and act as guards until the fight is over, then if alive will disable until the next battle. The player’s next task will be to conquer another hold by similar means and so on until all holds are conquered completing the mod. The catch is that raids will become more and more intense as you gain holds. The goal of raids, is to first kill the guards, then the player’s representative (the player can flee at any time, forfeiting the battle). Once the player’s Representative is killed the hold is assumed lost, but the raiders will still attempt to kill the player if present. When a hold is lost and the player is not present or escapes the raiders, a Stormcloak or Imperial Representative will spawn. They will not attack the player if he is in their hold, only if he is in the Representatives personal space. Future updates could include adding some MCM options controlling the size, level and frequency of raids, options for guard/soldier inventory, Options for Company size possibly a leveling system similar to that of Guild Starter.
  5. I would love to request someone to make any new weapons that are from the Warsaw Pakt, wich means, no NERF guns, there is alot of NERF weapons on the nexus already. Some of my favorite ones would be: 1. PTRD-41 (Sights, probably barrel) *Preference on this one more than the others, a 1 bullet magazine, short range, Anti-Tank rifle* 2. Saiga-12 (With mods for making it faster and drum mods) 3. TOZ-34 (Sawed Off, Hunting Barrel, Small/Medium Scope) 4. AN-94 "Obokan" (Scopes, Barrels, Supressors) 5. 6P9 (Magazine, barrel, no silencer) *6P9 is a silenced weapon by default* 6. AS VAL (Sights, Barrel) *AS VAL has an internal silencer, range should be small* 7. VSS Vintorez (Scopes, barrel) *Also has an internal silencer, range should be small* 8. Stechkin Automatic Pistol (Barrel, Sights) I'm not saying I'm wanting them all, sure it would be fantastic to have them all, but yeah, and what is inside "()" means possible mods for such weapons, and what is inside "**" are explanations on how certain weapon works. I would do love a PTRD-41 more than all others. <3 Hope somebody finds this. :p
  6. Hello all. In MGS one of the best things about it's style an atheistic is the clash between real world technology and the fictional stuff, which is also designed in a way like something that could actually exist. Thats why I was a little disappointed to see that there aren't any real world weapons in TPP, even though they're clearly supposed to be AKs an M16s, instead we get 'SVGs' and 'A MRS4s'. If possible could someone try to make a mod that replaces the weapons with their (when applicable) real life counterparts? It would in my opinion be entirely to the benefit of the game's atmosphere and theme. Thanks.
  7. In Skyrim the sneak/stand transition is ridiculously fast, and you can spam the sneak button for hours. Any mod that allow to crouch down and stand up slower ?
  8. So I know there already is a ton of darker night mods out for skyrim but non of them are even remotely realistic. Not becaue they aren't dark enough or anything, but because they all lack a very important thing when it comes to realism: Blurred/fuzzy vision! I'm pretty sure all of you have been outside in the darkness and you might have noticed that after a while it isn't that dark after all.. far from being pitch black. But it's hard to see textures and contures very well. I'd really love to see something like that in Skyrim! You'd only have to use the foggy shader thingy that blurres things in the background and apply that every night and at a very short distance as well. I hate that no game on this entire planet has figured out how light and eyesight works :D please, please, please someone do that!

  10. So, I just reinstalled Fallout 3 on my new computer, and decided to pick RTS back up. Now, everything works fine at first. That is until the point where I hire a woodcutter. The Wastelander goes and starts cutting wood, like they should, but it looks like this sets all my RTS companions into "wait mode", as they just stand around, and I cannot tell them to do anything except for "Go chop wood", "Goodbye", and "GTFO". I've tried setting them all to chop wood, and then recruiting more members, but it says I can't do that with my companions waiting. It also doesn't register them as woodcutters, as whenever I try to build something that required one, it says I have 0. I'm about to try reinstalling, but just in case it doesn't work, I figured I'd leave a post.
  11. would it be possible to remove the "pause" effect of lockpicking, making it possible to be detected/attacked/interupted while trying to pick a lock? pretty much all lockpicking mods on nexus seem to be for cheaters (ie. easy open locks, open lock spells etc.). evidently not everyone shares my enthusiasm for the minigame that i do. if this is something someone would be willing to do or give me some pointers on whether its possible to do it myself that would be much appreciated! -thanks for reading and responding!
  12. Well I got to thinking skyrim is missing a few small things that no one has seemed to fix. ( or at least I don't think so. ) Skyrim gives you the option to plant potatoes, carrots, lettuce, and a lot of other plants but I noticed that you cant plant apples or tomatoes. So I feel that it would be more immersive to actually be able to grow crops, that being all the ones available from other merchants, on your own. Branching off of this idea I think adding a few other crops that would fit into the region would also be a great thing to include with this. I would love to take this on and bring this idea into a mod myself but after trying to create other mods and failing id have to leave this up to someone who would actually know what they are doing. Thoughts anyone?
  13. Today I had the simple thought, that the horses you can buy are more worth than a human´s life. So, what I´ld like to have would be a mod where these lifes are more worth. From the other hand would be the murdering of people more payed by the dark brotherhood.
  14. Alright modders and players still alive in this era, after spending 100s and 100s of hours playing skyrim, I wish to put some reflection into my experience so far. With over 120 mods focused on immersion and gameplay enhancement/difficulty, I still have to say that there are things that are lacking that makes skyrim seem so artificial despite the many modifications. I went through Bethesda's Skyrim Mod Jam, and am surprised that by 2014 some of these ideas still haven't been covered (or so I thought). The following are just suggestions of my own opinion so don't get offended at my remarks and claims (please). Like the title says, regardless of the amount of mods I shove into my data folder, Skyrim still lacks density. I believe that if this issue is addressed even at the slightest amount, the Skyrim experience will become exponentially organic and fresh with each play-through. Idea 1: Thieves and Violent Drunks during the Nightlife in Towns/Cities I don't know if there are mods that address this, but the atmosphere of the towns/cities during the day are not that much different in the night. I mean yes, there is the occasional 2-vampire ambush but that is not in the slightest impressive or really threatening. My suggestion, a suggestion that addresses density, should be to have a mod that randomly generates thieves and violent drunks under a configurable probability in sensible but also random locations within a town/city. So a maximum of two thieves should randomly spawn in dark places and walkways waiting to rob a civilian or even the Dragonborn. However, they should act spontaneous so that the scene does not look sketchy. A thief could even walk normally amongst civilians and then suddenly attack/loot a random civilian(or the Dragonborn) once out of a guard/mercenary's vision. The armor should be random and compatible with other armor mods as a way to disguise themselves from the Dragonborn. They should be weak defensively but strong offensively. A quest could even be produced from this: if a thief assaults a civilian, the civilian will cry for help in which the Dragonborn (who at the scene will find the respective civilian accompanied by a guard or two) responds to cry and can either help capture/kill(where at low health the thief will submit and you can either escort the thief to a guard or kill the thief but face the probability of facing a murder fine depending on the heart of the guard) the thief and report back to the civilian.As for the drunks, there should be a configurable spawn probabilty of spawning 1-4 drunks in or near an inn or foods store/winery. Upon contact, the Dragonborn should be forced into dialogue with the drunk(or the drunk leader of the drunk group) where every dialogue choice will either calm down the drunk or set him off in a violent brawl/fight. The weapons for the drunk(s) should be either a knife or bare fists(unless the drunk(s) is(are) warriors/fighters). If the Dragonborn ends up fighting the drunk (the the drunken group) he/she can lower the drunk's health until they end up submitting or run to a nearby guard for assistance(the guard can tell you to either help him kill the drunk or capture the drunk). If you end up killing the drunk, criminal charges can be applied towards your character. If through your initial dialogue that the drunk calms down, you can be rewarded with a wine or two.Note that on the task of capturing victims, once the quest is completed, the victims should disappear and the guards resume back to their patroling duties. The civilian should resume to his/her original AI path.Idea 2: Outside Entertainment Depending on City/Town Atmosphere This one should slightly easier to accomplish than the first idea. Basically, during a sunny day, a town/city (based on its reputation) will be visited, based on a configurable probability, by a musical performer/band who will play lore music and/or celtic tunes for the pre-existing children of the respective town/city. Skyrim kids are like drones in that all they do is run around with jerky remarks. Yes many will find this idea unattractive because it has no significance to Skyrim's action-life but it certainly makes the atmosphere more organic and natural. Children should not be added but rather existing children should be attracted to the npc through a detection radius. The process should be natural; not attracting children like a magnet thus making a large node of fps destruction. on conditional weather/events the performer should not appear. On days that the performer does appear, the performer should only play for a few skyrim hours and then leave. When the performer opens the city gates he/she should de-spawn. In towns, the performer should de-spawn after a short distance from the town's opening. The children should resume back to their AI pathways after the performer starts to leave. If for some reason you kill the performer, the performer should have a random amount of gold depending on the size of his audience but also face criminal charges of the respective town/city.

Hey there chaps I was browsing around the web and was reminded of the helm of Sutton hoo. which is a helmet taken from a Saxon kings burial site, and it seemed like it'd fit perfectly in Skyrim. It's a very ornate helmet with an unusual shape, but I figured certain aspects could be modified, like adding a fabric cover over the neck and exposed face bar the eyes, since it covers so much anyway.   16. Edit: I've found a selection of mods and will work putting them in here. I'd like to know if these mods are fully compatible. More so double checking then anything. I'm trying to balance the combat. I cannot remember every mod I've tried, it has been several months since I've played. I'm in preparation for broadwell and maxwell. I'm working to create a base game to go with. I've got most of my mods picked out and setup nicely. My current goal now is to find the selection of mods to balance combat (and the world) and make it feel more realistic. I want dragons to be scary and have more challenge than just one shot fires and a lot of HP (what most mods seem to do). I want NPC to be more dangerous in numbers, but far less on their own. I'm Dragonborn with unique, rare, and powerful gear there is no reason for a mere city guard to be able to kill me. I don't care what they are wielding. Obviously higher ranking NPC should be more dangerous. So, obviously I need to find that which creates balance in power and defenses. Then I need to find that which creates realism, challenge, and balance in the combat itself. If you've got any ideas I am interested. I'd even love a set of mods that will allow me to tweak each item specifically to set things up for this balance. However, obviously such a mod would require a lot of tweaking and it would be great for any suggested tweaks you have applied. Edit: I love putting together an army of follows and taking over a city as my own. Mods that support this creation of an army and taking over a city would be great. Perhaps a modded version of the city take over quest? Where I can actually prepare for and fight a city with a true and tried army? Even go around hiring people to be a part of the army. Coming up with the required gold for the equipment and mechanics. I'd be surprised if Something like this didn't exist by now. I'm sure everyone would love a mod on such a huge scale for war. Something that has a huge level of replay-ability. Based on the gold you spend. (more gold spent increases the difficulty, obviously the rich will be fighting a very large army. Don't mistake though your army will too be a force for reckoning.) Obviously I don't expect that specific. But, the idea behind it. Starting to put my own personal ideas into that lol.

Hi everyone, I'm going to publish a mod that uses Fallout NV's police car 3D model (which I'm not going to include due to copyright, users will import in F3 on their own), but I edited the textures regarding logos, adding real police logo, like Washington Metropolitan Police and Secret Service. Can I use these logos in my mod or should I edit them a bit so they will be just similar but not the same as the reals? I've attached a screenshot so you can understand better what I'm saying.   18. There should be some sort of program where you can take a picture of yourself, or anyone really, and have it transferred into skyrim someway. Maybe something like a face-gen? Pretty much I just wanna have my own face in Skyrim and be able to play as "myself." Please comment and tell me your thoughts!!!!!!!!
  19. hey guys I started a let's play series of only visually modded (Real Vision Enb) Skyrim. The gameplay has no tweaks becauses I like core vanilla experience. As for now, I am just enjoting the game by myself. However, I found it extremely fun when someone else organic interacts with me regarding what happened in game.   20. So I downloaded real vision and I went through all the steps but after I installed it and It told me to go to real vision files I clicked on RV_Install and this message shows up. Line: 40 Char: 1 Error: Permission denied Code:800A0046 Source: Microsoft VBScript runtime error. I tried to run it as admin but the run as admin option wasn't there.

Can someone make a mod that makes the player actually think about armor and evading, it makes the player kill the enemy in one shot or slash from a sword and the enemy can kill you in one hit like in real life and it makes the game challenging Thank you i hope you can make one or tell me about a mod in the reply's -General Rhexx
  22. Sorry for the english... For me, Skyrim is the best game ever made, i love all of the history, mechanics and of course the mods for this game, but sometimes is boring to play with too much fantasy and discover a monster in every corner. Sometimes you just want to feel alone in the wild, camping, hunting or being a soldier fighting in the civil war, a bandit attacking caravans or a merchant with your bodyguards protecting your goods or many other possibilities, without discover some troll or giant walking freely in the wilderness. I would like to see a mod someday with the changes below: - No magic in any form; - No race powers (only natural resistances); - No fantasy monsters; - Only humans (Nords, Bretons, Redguards and Imperials); - For weapons and armors, only materials that exists on Earth like iron, steel, hide, fur and leather; - Civil war as the main quest, and each side starts the game controlling half of Skyrim; This is just a few sugestions that i made, but a lot more could be made to make a real world Skyrim. I think many people would like to see this type of mod.
  23. This seems like a very basic idea, so I'm sure it can be/has been done. Just a simple mod that makes weapons lose their sharpness the more you use them. Not break or anything, just become more dull over time, so you have to keep sharping them. If this mod does exist, could some kind sir point me it's direction?!   25. Hello Nexus community! I started playing Skyrim again after a long time and hell yeah this game is beast! xD I installed some essential mods and everything is good. So i only need one more mod but i don't know if there is one and i can't find it. I'm looking for a mod that makes the camera (in 1st person) moving up and down while walking.Because with default camera is like flying above the ground. I need a more natural camera that feels like walking :D Is there such a mod already out? Any help appreciated :blush:
