  1. Has anyone ever seen a mod where you can build (or rebuild) roads with asphalt? I got the idea when I accidentally scrapped a section of road. :-| There are plenty of replacers as well as sidewalk and driveway parts in mods but I haven't seen roads. Thanks!
  2. Hi, i have an idea for a great mod! I'm using Quality map - with roads and it would be awesome if someone made a mod that made it so you could draw a line on the map, so you know exactly where to guy. What gave this idea is the path from Whiterun to Ivarsted. It's quite difficult to know exactly what roads to take by just looking at the map.
  3. Hi everyone, Apologies if this is the incorrect section. I'm having trouble getting "populated lands roads paths by RS" working correctly. Some of The new NPCs added by the mod (wandering magician, bodyguard, mercenary, wandering knight, bodyguard ect) are all hostile to me on sight. I've tried console commands but they simply become hostile again (enable-disable, resetAI ect). Also, the wandering knight doesn't attack me, but he does show up as a enemy and taunts and moves like one. Here is the list of mods I have (Not load order). BLEED- A Blood Overhaul main file Moonlight Tails Werewolves jump higher The Beast within- passive werewolf perks Werewolf mastery and moonlight tails compatibility version Cloaks of Skyrim Cloaks of SKyrim- Dawnguard Heart of the Beast Change Spouse Outfits NIghtfall Gear DG Deadly Dragons Breezehome Counter Frostfall 2_5 release Convenient Horses Imps more complex needs Breezehome basement- spouse life bundle Immersive patrols manual installer immersive settlements immersive settlements solstheim Inconsequential NPCs Revenge of the Enemies SKyUI Any advice would be appreciated
  4. I didn't previously have this problem. At some point, I decided to wipe out my existing install and do it all over, just to try new things. I currently have a good setup with mods I like, and all roads in Skyrim are only in detail right under my feet. This only happens with roads. Buildings, trees, walls, mountains - everything else - looks good up close and at a distance. This issue with roads happens whether or not I have any texture or road mods loaded. It happens no matter what I do to the settings in Skyrim launcher (which I then exit because I need to start SKSE through MO). It happens no matter what I do to my graphics driver settings. I've searched, read suggestions, tried them (including moving my prefs out of my My Games/Skyim and letting Skyrim write new ones, which Skyrim.exe didn't actually do), still nothing. Does anyone have any advice? It's a little distracting when the road looks blurry starting only a few feet away while everything else appears in good detail. EDIT: Got a vanilla game going, got out of Helgen, and noticed this problem doesn't exist. I'm wondering if MO is doing something (which I know isn't supposed to be possible, but then, before this happened, I was using NMM).
  5. Update - please stand down. I sorted this in two ways - discovered the reason why my roads did not appear (a dodgy map edit in Skyrim.INI) and the others I installed one at a time and tested to find the culprits. But it was the remnant bad edit in the Skyrim.INI that was the source of my pain. Hi All Two questions on map mods. I wonder if anyone can help please? I have the Quality World Map with Roads, loaded over the top of the High Quality 3D Map as instruction by the mod authors. But the 'With Roads Map' refuses to show the roads, and also wants to overwrite Ethereal Clouds. I’ve reloaded these until I’m fed up with them - no roads. The only thing I can think might be causing an issue is Enhanced Distant Terrain but not sure about it. Any ideas welcome. Secondly I would like to have the following goodies: small map markers - they look neater than the giant vanilla comic-book onescoloured - like EZE’s Coloured Markers (seems to be the latest), The Atlas Map Markers to show useful places and world incidents. The Cartographers Map Markers to show the detailed view of towns, etc.Now I have modded Skyrim far longer than I ever played it and am pretty shrewd with mods, but I’m in a bit of a quagmire with trying these. I’ve tried laying the maps down starting with High Quality 3D and then the (always invisible) Roads, and working on from there. But SkyUI warns me the map.swf is 3.2 when it should be 4.1. I've rummaged around looking for a kind of unifying map but have not spotted one. Might anyone be able to give me some idea of how I can achieve what I want without a roadless mucked up map and an upset SkyUI? Or a unifying mod? Or is it impossible!? Many thanks!
  6. The nazgul patrol the roads of my game waiting for unwary travelers to beset with their unholy "blades of CTD". In my recent play through I have decided to take the long road, by actually traveling the roads of skyrim instead of taking the cart everywhere. Unfortunately I have been experiencing more random CTDs then I have ever seen before and almost all of them occur on the roads. As long as I don't travel along the roads I am relatively safe from crashes (as safe as one can be in skyrim). These random road crashes are kind of getting to me though, I have to save all the time in order to keep any progress while travelling, I can fight 50 bandit mages hurling magics of every school every which way but loose but I cant get over a bridge without the entire world exploding (figuratively of course, since that would be kind of awesome). What I'm getting at here is that the game can handle a lot, but there's something about the roads of skyrim that it simply can't. Here's my load order: Now this is odd, is this is not the order my mods are in on MO. I simply copied and pasted them from the plugins tab in MO and they showed up in a different order.
  7. Helo Friends , I need help with creating Collision Meshes for roads. I have Tried My hardest But cant get them to work. I am using 3DS Max and NifScope. What i am doing : First I create a Model (Mesh) Then i Clone the Mesh and apply BhkRigidBodyModifier ,and Select Convex Shape. Then i create RigidBody From Helpers, Add Convex Shape to it and assign its Properties. After that i Export the mesh with collision , Open it in Nif Scope and Change the values of Unknown 7 Shorts to 0 (leaving the top 2 as it is) And set he Radius to 0.1But it just wont work ,please help if you know what to do or correct me if i am doing anything wrong in above steps. It will be awesome to have a Step by Step Tutorial :smile: Thank u
  8. Would it be possible to create a batch file to disable the old roads and sidewalks in Sanctuary and replace them with the clean versions? Not a texture replacement but disabling the old objects and putting a new one in the same place. There are probably a lot of one-off objects for particular stretches of road though especially since Sanctuary has road + sidewalk together. Ideally a "fix road" item in the workshop would choose from a predefined set of forms and do the same thing if you "build" it while a supported object is highlighted. Then again, if pre-war Sanctuary is flatter then you'd still get dirt bumps everywhere. A batch file wouldn't require an esp or conflict with other mods with the same cell. Either the above or write a mod with the disabled "clean" objects already created and just switch the enable/disable properties in game with an in-game tool of some kind.
  9. It 210 years now since the war, houses are being rebuilt things are being cleaned up. But the roadways are a disaster and getting worse. It would be cool to have someone, maybe even the Atom Cats find an old road paving machine and refurbish it. It would require people to run different parts of the operation from supply to the work crew. It gets started at one point and starts rebuilding roadway. Nothing fast, but something you could see being accomplished. Maybe a small town might take 6 months in-game to finish. Plus being portable from one area to another.
  10. For the original game I had a World Map mod installed that defined the roads better so I could get to my destinations without running into a mountain EVERY SINGLE TIME I headed out! It might have been Bethesda's idea to make the game more challenging, but in fact it just makes it terribly frustrating. I already did a couple play through's with the legacy game and enjoyed it (after installing the World Map mod), but I don't think I can continue with this freebie unless someone uploads a better map for this version of Skyrim.

Hello I am working on new path roads for skyrim.But I hv a little problem. 1- When I am using the land texture tool, straight areas are not problem its going well, but when I came to rugged areas, texture landscaping tool is not working(right mouse button).How can I do that?Someone has any idea? 2-How can I add direction signs? For example whiterun and riverwood share same roads but i will like to use roads with red/orange moss in the zone of whiterun. Im a noob with CK but if is easy i will try it.
  13. Hello, unfortunately I can't get the toolset working nor do I know anything of modding or I would have tried myself. and I hope Dragon age Origins modding hasn't died. I really like to have a mod in wich you could skip the deep roads. And just the part in wich you go searching for branka untill you get the cutscene with caridin. Just like Skip the Fade. thanks in advance

I remember in the past using them, and that unabled me to do anything to the first few houses close to the bridge in workshop mode. So, will anything similar happen? Has it been fixed? Should I specificaly arrange them in the load order? And yeah, by the way, I'm switching from Nexus Mod Manager to Mod Organizer.
