sup, i'm not big into modding, so i've been wondering if i could save my FONV state with all the mods used to some kind of particularly small file or folder because i need to cut down on gaming and storage space on my computer and all of this is taking up by far the most space. idk when i'm gonna fire up FONV again next, who knows, maybe only in 10 years and the data should hopefully stay secure for that long in the cloud. speaking of safe, i currently have 5 save states of 16.5 MB each, so any solution in that rough area would be greatly appreciated especially if it more or less all installed itself again. just writing down all mod and extension names on a piece of paper and then doing it all by hand again just means i'm probably never gonna go through all this again and will at best just play unmodded if at all. in short, i need to stop playing and free up storage. would be great if i could just save my entire FONV game with everything attached to a 100-200 MB folder/file. thanks so much in advance, cheers

I am wondering what impact models and texture mods would have on Skyrim since all they change is the vanilla texture, Would I be able to sucessfully install some texture mods to change ingame textures like tree's houses or texture and meshes on food and such? or will it potentially corrupt my save file when and if I want to uninstall one or several of the texture mods later? Also I have 97 mods so far and no texture mods and the game is running perfectly and I am worried that if I install a texture mod that it might impact the game negatively. Last not on topic but what performance hit will a texture mod that changes food have?

hey guys, i play Skyrim a lot and also installed a "decent" number of mods installed in it. from the past few days i found that my loading time has dipped from 10 sec maximum to 2 minutes maximum.i have to wait a lot and that is very annoying. eventually i searched the internet and came around save game bloating and even downloaded mods for de-bloating but i already waited like 10 mins and it still clears the FORMID. when i checked the save file size it was ..... HOLD ON... 525 MB. i was dead inside and also helpless. please help me,i just love Skyrim and i wanna play it "normally".   i have like around 25-ish mods and skse. THANKS my pc specs amd-a6 3500 apu with raedon 2.10 ghz processor 8 gb ram skyrim graphics works fine on my pc

******ANSWERED****** Well like the title suggests, I'm wondering if there's a (reasonably easy) way to decipher the confusing file name s that Skyrim produces without tedious opening each in re-saver. I haven't deleted more than one or two saves since I began playing in early 2019 (February fwiw), so you can probably guess that I have a "large" number of files to parse. I often make named saves from console, so they're easy to separate, but the vast bulk are created using the MCM game save utility Hoping to discern level and character. thanks in advance.

Hey all, just had a quick question. I didn't realize until very recently that SE is compatible with "non modified Skyrim" save files, and all you have to do is dump the saves into the SE edition save folder. I have, however, subbed to a few mods on Steam's workshop for the game. I was wondering, would the save file be incompatible then, even if the mods I've installed are relatively unobtrusive? If so, would I be able to unsub from said mods, remove anything else that wasn't off the workshop, reload, resave a fresh save file, and then import the save file? Don't want to spend the money on SE if there are likely to be insurmountable issues for my current save. Included are a list of my subbed mods, if relevant to this question: Radioreggae's Hair Workshop for KhajiitImmersive Saturation BoostPure WatersArch-Mage's Quarters Map MarkerTowns and Villages Enhanced: WhiterunTowns and Villages Enhanced: WindhelmTowns and Villages Enhanced: SolitudeHD Plants + HerbsWater And Terrain Enhancement ReduxRealistic Ragdolls and ForceSounds of Skyrim - CivilizationThe Dance Of Death - A Killmoves ModAzaela-Marryable Khajiit FollowerMoonpath HD texture packMoonpath to ElsweyrKhajiit "Eye of Fear"Beast SkeletonsLydia - Get out of my BedroomAuto Unequip ArrowsItem SortingSkyUINight Eye Blur RemovalPsychosteve's DragonPriest MasksStronger Daedric ArtifactsWerewolves of SkyrimSounds of Skyrim - The WildsLake Klinalth TowerFixed Followers LiteNight Eye ToggleFall of the Space Core, Vol. 1Bonds of Matrimony - KhajiitEnhanced Blood Textures 3.6bSounds of Skyrim - The Dungeons

I was interested in getting an editor for a very specific purpose and wondered if anyone could suggest one. I am playing the latest version of XCOM Enemy Within, in iron man mode (normal difficulty) and I want to edit the soldiers on the final mission. After selecting and equipping my 6 soldiers for the final mission I found that when the mission started, 4 of those selected were replaced with other, subpar soldiers?!? I am sure that I had correctly selected the soldiers and reviewed their equipment but irregardless of whether it is a bug or my own error, I'd like to either restart the mission so I could properly choose my soldiers or edit the soldiers on the mission. I was looking at the "Restart Mission in Pause mode" by Drakous 79. (Does anyone know if it works for the final mission in iron man mode?) I was also trying to find out more about "XCOM ToolBoks". If anyone is familiar with these or another mod editor I might try, I would appreciate any suggestions. Thanks for any suggestions. Steve

Morrowind will not load my save files
TetraofMorrowind posted a topic in Morrowind's Troubleshooting
I got a copy of Morrowind about a month or so ago and I loved it. Played it about every chance I got. One day, I went to go a load a save file and something weird happened. The intro music didn't play and when I clicked on the file to load it, the game froze. I let it sit there for 30 minutes and nothing happened. I could start new files, but not load any. I also didn't get any error messages. I have installed and uninstalled it 5 times, I made sure to install tribunal before blood moon, I switched the save files from read only, I even made a new user on the computer as an admin for it. The only thing I haven't done is completely wipe my pc. So, what do I do? I have a windows 7, 64 bit computer.- 5 replies

I was playing a few weeks ago, and suddenly the game crashed. Okay, that's happened. But now I cannot save. I cannot autosave, quicksave, manual save. I have not tried console saves, I was hoping it was a simple issue. But it's been a couple of weeks now, and I've uninstalled eSet Nod32 and MalwareBytes and reverted to Windows Defender. So far on my list from other locations, I have the following things to do: -Try to load game without NMM and mods enabled under a different User profile in Windows. -Clear out \Data\SKSE\Plugins -Uninstall NMM and reinstall it after removing all mods. -Completely uninstall game and start all over again. Note that this also happened when I tried to run Fallout 4. I selected the Creation Club (Just to see if maybe menus were the problem) and that crashed as well. I plan on loading Oblivion through OBMM and checking if I can save. Other programs can write to the folder just fine. I can post in a full system list, including mods, tomorrow, I am on a short time this evening as I have an appointment early tomorrow and need to get a lot done tonight before bed.

Hi, I'm very new to modding, I've always been a little intimidated by all of the terminology so would like some advice if possible. From what I understand, certain mods contain scripts and these are the more risky in terms of corrupting save files or clashing with the "Vanilla" files. I've installed a couple of mods now and really just want to know what ones, if any, pose a risk. I currently have installed; - STLM 3.2 (Alt version). - Absolute Pre-release reshade. - Brutal Face mod. - Lore friendly witchers (Real Witcher Eyes). - E3 Trailer swords Any peace of mind would be great, thanks in advance!
