Whenever I launch Vortex it apparently does a quick scan for mod folders which is fine and probably necessary, but it ends up popping up several annoying error messages every time. I recently swapped out hard drives so I no longer have my D: drive with the new one being referred to as the F: drive which is necessary for the phasing out period of the old one (I upgraded my secondary HDD to a SSD). Now, Vortex seems to be confused every time I launch it insisting on searching for the old game folders I had in D: drive and I can't figure out how to get it to stop. It's not a serious issue as it still works but it is just a nuisance that I have to close nearly a dozen error messages which also causes Vortex's startup to take a lot longer than it should. How do I get Vortex to stop search for folders on a now non-existent drive?

Virus Scan - Some files not scanned I noticed most mods have the green status "safe to use" while others show "some manually verified files" but many mods have the yellow status "some files not scanned". When this is the case do you expect nexus users to handle this by themselfes? If we download say 20 mods that aren't scanned do you really expect users to manually take action? I mean it's pretty obvious that most people DO NOT do that... i used to upload those mods to virus total and see what happens, but some mods are big (5-8 GB). Takes ages to upload these to virustotal. Anyways my issue here isn't even to take responsibility by myself and scan these mods, my question is why are there SO MANY mods that haven't been scaned?? You do have an AI for the virus scans right? Then what is the issue?

Hi I was using Nexus Mod Manager some years ago, and used it to mod Skyrim. Havent touched modding sice then. Now I want to use Vortex to mod Cyberpunk but sadly the Program is unable to find my Games. Is Cyberpunk not yet supported? But Rise of the Tomb Raider for example is not found either. I did a full Scan of all my drives but nothing pops up. Also searching directly in my Steam-folder does not help. Like I said im new to Vortex is there anything im missing? Any advice?

Hello! I'm long time user of both NMM and Vortex and I had no problems with both, but recently I've come across an issue that I could not find answer for in the Internet. Is there an option to scan my mods folder for the game to find mods that I downloaded manually and placed there? So I could update them with Vortex. I did it with Stardew Valley so some mods are unofficial updates or code is changed by me, which I understand cannot be found, but some are from Nexus and Vortex sees corect folder with Mods, but doesn't seem to find already installed mods. Can I fix it somehow? Just like Twitch app can scan for WoW mods. Is there such a feature in Vortex? Thanks!

I'm running Vortex version 0.19.1 I'm trying to mod Sims 4 with the latest update and expansion of Island Living. I have around 950 mods give or take a spare file or two of things. I'm on Windows 10 64x with 16Gb of ram. I updated my sims 4 game to the newest edition and after that Vortex says that it cannot find find the .exe file for sims 4 despite my direct guide to the game/bin folder. I have uninstalled Vortex and reinstalled it to the drive my Sims 4 game is on (moved from C: drive to D: drive) and I have attempted many scans and manual sets. Vortex finds Stardew Valley just fine despite being on the other drive and it did find the sims on the other drive easily enough before I updated. Did I mess something up with my update? I feel like this was an easy mistake and I'm just overthinking it. The only error I get is when I try to manually set the location which is: This directory doesn't appear to contain the game. Expected to find these files: game/bin/TS4.exe The scanning perimeters I've given for the full scan are: C:\ D:\ D:\Games\The Sims 4\Game\Bin Any other suggestions?
