As in title. I tried using other mods (like wireless power etc) but nothing works. I was able to make two wires and that's it. No, I don't miss components, but the "end" of wire just won't attatch to anything. Tried in different settlements too. I don't want to start over again after 12 hours..... any help? I need only to connect recruiting beacon and I'll be happy. No lights needed. Mods

I'm going for a Tinkerer build in my next game! Someone who takes full advantage of the crafting system, hoards Power Suits like it's a compulsion, uses multiple high-tech style mods, and is maybe just a weeeee bit on the crazy side. Sadly, I kinda suck at the whole "settlement" thing. No sense of aesthetics. ^_^; Any good player home mods or pre-built settlements that would make for a proper home-base? I always thought the Mechanist's Lair would be perfect, but it's too plain on its own, and I've never found a mod that really captures the right feel for it. As I'm a bit fan of the Automatron DLC, if anyone KNOWS of a great Lair overhauls that do most of the decorating work for you and really plays up that "mad roboticist" vibe, that would be pretty awesome too!

mod which makes settlers keep working constantly

The laser turrets for your settlement appear to use the same clamps as gun traps. It would be cool to have a new turret base that you can clamp any ranged weapon from your inventory to. Then we could put custom modded weapons that are more suited for specific defense locations. Such as a silenced combat sniper turret, gauss rifle turret or an auto laser scattergun turret.

I'm working on a mod which adds a new settlement inside a large old store and features a hidden bunker. I've built the settlement now (IE workshop, sandbox marker, build area, and so on) 4 times following 4 different tutorials, and run into the same bug each time. The player will own the settlement even before clearing it, even though there is a boss and the workbench has been set to "unlock after boss killed" (this is also true if set to "on take ownership"). The player can scrap everything that's supposed to be scrapable, and nothing that's not supposed to be scrappable. Howeaver, the player can only build defense, store, crafting, raider, and cage items. Even then, they cannot make everything in those categories. It will LOOK like they can, but some placed items will be invisible (though they might have collision sometimes and can be scrapped o.0 ). They cannot place furniture. They cannot place building parts. They cannot place guard posts. They can't even access the majority of build menus. I don't understand. Please help. This is my first time making a settlement, I would appreciate explaining in detail, but with simple terms.
