  1. Hello modders/simmers, I would like to know if it is possible to convert stage objects (with animations/effects) from The Sims 3 Showtime to The Sims 4. I found one with decorative objects (backdrops), but I'm mainly interested in the "FX Machines and Lights" objects, like "Stellar Show FX Pod" and/or "OmniAstonishing MultiFX Tower": "But what effects do you want?" As many as possible. I know programming, but I don't know anything about object conversions, mods or Blender, so I don't know how difficult this would be, but what I do most in my gameplay are parties (the nightclub ones), so I really miss these objects. Is anyone able to perform this conversion/mod? Thank you for everything . Note 1: If any of The Sims 4 DLC is mandatory, that won't be an issue for me . Note 2: The lights from "FX Machines and Lights" would also be welcome , but I really wanted the "Stellar Show Effect Pod" and/or "OmniAstonishing MultiFX Tower" much more . Unfortunately, "RRRRave Stage Lights" from The Sims 4 Get Together doesn't have the "light beam" neither movement like the "Iridescent Intensity Isolator" from The Sims 3 Showtime, and this makes it very boring.
  2. Since 2022 a lot of players on each console and PC have an bug that shows the whole area by making the walls in V shapes except the point where another wall is attached to it that will show as an pole. My question is who can make a fix for this? or is it impossible

  4. I like more than a few of the premade Sims, but I can only use one at a time in my game. They are made by different ppl, but for sum reason it always says there is a conflict. Does anyone know if there is a fix for this?
  5. Hey, I'm pretty new to Nexus/Vortex, and I've just read through the rules, etc., but I'm also half-asleep RN so I hope I'm doing everything right...feel free to let me know if not! (Also I'm doing my best to keep this at least a bit concise, but tbh I'm kind of terrible at that, so I apologize if there's too much said here.) So I'm using Vortex for The Sims 4, among other games. For anyone who doesn't know, Sims 4 has 2 types of mods, .package files and .ts4script files. .ts4script files have to go in either the main Mods folder (e.g. C:\Users\[uSERNAME]\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\Mods) or a max of 1 subfolder deep. Since Vortex supports the game, it presumably has a way of making this work. However, there are also the questions of organization and load order, among other things. Organization: Most people who mod Sims 4 just do it manually--all you have to do is copy or move the files into the mods folder. But for those of us who have more than just a few mods, organization is a concern. People do it in different ways, but the upshot is that there are often a number of subfolders within the Mods folder for better organization. Vortex, however, appears to just dump everything in a folder called "Vortex Mods" within the main Mods folder. Tbh, it may be just me being overconcerned, but I'd kinda like to have my mods folder more organized than that. Load order: A more pressing concern than organization is the fact that according to someone I talked to with a fair bit of Sims/modding/troubleshooting experience, there is sometimes a load order for certain mods that people don't tell you about? Like, they tell you to put things in your Mods folder in a certain way and don't say why. I suppose I could put any mods with that type of instruction into my folder manually and use Vortex for others, but I'd rather be consistent if I can. So, would it work to use Vortex to install mods but then move them out of the "Vortex Mods" folder into another subfolder in Mods? Or would Vortex freak out at some point because it couldn't find the mods, or would they disappear from the list of mods in Vortex, or...? Please note that while I could just manage my Sims 4 mods manually, there are a number of reasons I'm wanting to use Vortex (including, among others, the metadata it keeps track of and also the profiles feature). So if you can avoid saying "Just ditch Vortex" without any other info, that'd be great haha. :) Any help/info is appreciated, and let me know if you need more info!

I know that the dresses and shoes are individual items and aren't merged so I'm not sure if it would be possible to convert this set but any attempts would be greatly appreciated!   7. Why not?? We have the regular one. Unfortunately one can't upload naked sims & builds & rooms like porn studiosm strip clubsm brothers & the like have either got to be listed under a more mainstream vuild type or they don't get shared at all A gallery JUST FOR NSFW stuff (Even if it's just an additional tab in the main gallery UI would make a world of difference Thoughts??
  8. Since Sims 4 Discover University released last week, I have been unable to use Vortex to handle my mods due to faulty directory. EA/Maxis made it mandatory that you have to have to be at higher specs than before in order to run it. My PC can handle 64 bit so the new directory should be game/bin/TS4_x64.exe but Vortex will not register it due to the _x64 part of the filename. If I were to edit the filename to TS4.exe, then the game will no longer play and forces me to download Sims 4 Legacy Edition, even though my computer can handle the 64-bit version of the game. Is there a way to force Vortex to see the TS4_x64.exe file or is it something that the creator must do??
  9. I recently realised while looking into a different game that NNM is no longer working and that I had to get Vortex, so I did and noticed it had Sims 4 as a option. I remember previously that NNM didn't let you mod Sims 4 and thought it would help streamline the process, so I moved old mods to Vortex as well as new ones I downloaded today. The only issue is none of the mods will now work on Sims 4, and all the mods I did have installed are now no longer working which has changed all my Sims...It's just really messed up my game. I had issues with deployment and got the "Failed to Deploy" error, so found the mod causing the issue and disabled and it was hoping that that had been the issue, but still no mods work on Sims 4. I don't know if it is because when I went to play Sims it updated, but I deployed the mods after it was updated. I'm just really frustrated and don't know what to do. Right now, from what I am looking at there shouldn't be a problem. It successfully deployed, all the mods that are meant to be enabled are, it's all updated and installed, I can launch the game from Vortex but no mods are working when I am in the game. Any help would be appreciated.
  10. hello sims 4 community! I have a request for a mod! i'd like a mod for Sims 4 that changes ALL text font 'bubbles' & menus to high contrast. What I mean is = All the text in the game is white with black letters, I would like it to be a black background with white letters! for ALL mebus & speech bubbles in the game! WHY? = I have poor vision & little black letters in a giant white blur is hard to see for me! if it was black with white letters it is easier to see for me & a lot less strain on your eyes too! if you are a modder & can do this please help! & if you do make it leave a link here! thanx! & thank you very much if you can do this for an old half blind gamer.
  11. first off all Vortex find only Skyrim, but not Skyrim SE, Sims 4 or Sims 3. I could add the Games manual, but for Sims 3: should I add the base game or the last add on, or isn' it nessesary which path I choose? I'm from Germany an I play the Games german, too. Now I have the problem the path to the mod-folder isn't "Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Mods" and "Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\Mods", so the paths are "Documents\Electronic Arts\Die Sims 3\Mods" and "Documents\Electronic Arts\Die Sims 4\Mods" and I don't find an option to change this. This problem should also have other because in an other language it should be e.g. "Documents\Electronic Arts\Les Sims 3\Mods". I hope you resolve the problem.
