So, I am decent at programming, and I have some mod ideas of my own I would be happy bring to fruition, but I am awful at graphics and textures. So after looking and not being able to find anything quite like what I was looking for, I think it would be cool to have a reskin of some of the body models (I only said CBBE because that's what I use) that are scaly. For example, kind of like the Au'ra from FFXIV. Still cute but something that would fit in really well with mods like TDN Equipable Horns by Nightshade. If for whatever reason this exists and I just happened to miss it, please let me know!

So I am using Breezes as my default male model and am running into a problem with a custom outfit. I am trying to create a custom underclothing but am having trouble with the male side of it. I am trying to use the default Bethesda underwear over a breeze body. I understand the skin texture won't match up so I tried first remapping the skin to a the default skin texture in a separate folder in nif scope and it works there. It did not work in Game, so I tried create a new texture with the default skin and it and mapping it over the skin section for the armor in the Geck preview and it works there, but once I put it over the breeze body the skin is still wrong. I thought I had seen different armors work so long as the skin was mapped to a matching skin texture. How can I force the armor to use the overriding skin, and not the one the body has?

Female Elves have an ugly rash around their mouth in my game. All 3 vanilla races. I use several mods. Full Mod list in the next post but the ones I would think are most relevant to this are Dimonized UNP, No More Blocky Faces and Less Harsh Elves. I also use SG Female Texure Renewal. That one doesn't affect elves but I guess it could explain why the human races don't have the rash. It also become more noticeable with some skin tones. How can I fix this? With Texture blender?

I've noticed on a lot of dark-skinned characters that the corners of their mouths and eyes are green. It's suuuuuper annoying, and I can't find anything -mods or even forum discussions- that fixes it. I recently re-made my character, because I added a bunch of mods and tried out hardcore mode and wanted to start over, and she has the green on her skin, too. I really want to get rid of it, but I don't know how. Does anyone know? I could probably fix the texture on my own in Photoshop, but I don't know which file it is or how to find/access it.

Hello Everyone! It's my first time being here in the forum so please help me. :blush: I'm using SevenBase Body with XP32 skeleton with BBP and I'm currently wondering what's the best skin and face texture out there for 7B? sorry If I dont know something so obvious, I've recently started using naked mods etc. :devil: I'm currently using Windsong for female its already both face and body skin texture.. but I'm looking for something more better. anyone knows what's best face and body skin texture for 7B please do tell. and if I uninstalled the skin texture and gonna install a new one do I have to uninstall 7B and the skeleton too? or I just uninstall the texture and install my new one? please help me LOL :blush:

Hey! I'm brand new to modding - not got the slightest idea what I'm doing - and I'm trying to open the malebody_1.dds file so I can add some tattoos to it. The skin texture is actually from the Tempered Males mod, and I'm able to open the hand textures fine but not the body textures. I had the exact same problem with trying to edit a completely different Fallout 4 skin too, and I'm no closer to solving it now :\ Is there something I have to do with the file before I can edit it? I've tried GIMP and Paint.Net and neither have been able to open the malebody_1.dds file. Thanks!

How do I apply a custom skin texture mod, that replaces all npc skin textures, to only one particular npc?

Would someone know where mature skin texture went? I have used this mod for sometime and now it has disappeared. I am unable to find any in both le or sse.

Ok, I'm trying to add several tattoos to a custom (scarred) skin texture. I tried adding a layer mask and erased the little bits that overlapped. And then I flattened image and exported as malebody_1.dds, but when I go to open the .dds file to check it, All I see is that checkerboard pattern .... Not sure what I am doing wrong. These are the mods that i use to make my character look feminine but not slutty. I have played this game for many years and it is difficult to find good mods out there for the female characters that are not aimed only for individuals wanting their character to be sexualized. I'm trying to paint my own complexion mod, specifically for wrinkles/old age. However, the vanilla ones (and the ones from the lovely Mild Complexions mod that I'm using to understand) have a grey base that I think effects the original skin texture when overlayed, making it sort of overly smooth and fuzzy looking. What I'd love is to just be able to have the wrinkles and details show up without marring the original skin's texture under the overlay. However, when I try to do a DDS with transparency to allow for that, I just get giant black patches on the complexion ingame. Is it not possible? Does anyone have any advice on how to make it look better? I've thought about using the texture of the skin mod I use, turned monochrome, as a base, but I'm not sure how well that would work. (This would just be for personal use, credits and permissions wise, not distribution.) Thanks very much for any advice! :)

I'm at the end of my rope. Before, I had CBBE + Mature Skin texture installed (at least, as far as I know, accurately and all) and it looked like the first two pictures in the album. However, I later noticed some weird, broken feet texture and hips on it, so I went to reinstall both mods in hopes of fixing it. However, now I have an entirely different issue - now the texture is all weirdly pasty and white. :( I've tried reinstalling both mods again, tried installing JUST Mature Skin on an entirely otherwise empty MO2 profile and everything I could think of, but I just can't get it to look like the first two screenshots! That in mind, I guess what I'm asking is... am I crazy? Is Mature Skin supposed to look like the former, or the latter and the former is something else entirely? It sounds crazy, but I've tried everything I can think of, and every time when I install Mature Skin, it comes out looking like the last two pictures. If anyone knows, PLEASE comment! So, I recently got back to playing Skyrim and I ran into this super weird issue with my ENB. Basically, whenever I turn it on and zoom into my character's face, all I see are a shitload of weird white marks all over her face. Example: Without ENB With ENB. Does anyone know what this is about? Would really appreciate the help.
