I have mods a lot of them as usual and I have loot to help me order them and look for errors. I can go to current saves and play the game perfectly fine, but when I start new a game and I try to change presets, sex, weight etc...in the character creator menu my game crashes. I uninstalled every mod and did a fresh install of sse, worked perfectly, so I installed my mods again but...it crashed...again for the same reason. I don't know why and I'm kinda getting irritated that I can't pinpoint what mod is causing this. I have enbseries in my skyrim folder and I've been also trying to find the regular dll to replace what enb adds. But I can't find it and I don't know if its that or a mod causing the crashing. Note: I do have SKSE. My load/mod order:

Hi, so it's been a while since I've played Skyrim, but as of late I've been interested in it again. I vaguely remember that I stopped playing the game a few months ago due to crashing I was experiencing as well as just general boredness with the game. Currently I CTD after at least a half hour and I have no idea why. It could be mods needing cleaning, but I'm not positive. Here is my current mod list sorted: I've gotten SKSE, SkyUI, and any other mods updated to the current version, and deleted and uninstalled any mods that conflicted with others (Enhanced Character Edit + Racemenu). My Dual Sheath Redux Patch is also giving me a hard time.. I cannot uninstall or deactivate Elianora's redguard home, merta black rose armor, celes nightingale armor, or clearsky hideout without the patch saying that the masters are missing in loot. My computer is a Gigabyte P25W-CF3 15.6 Inch Laptop (you can google the specs, except I opted to have windows 7 instead of windows 8 ) Skyrim only registers my Intel® HD Graphics 4600 card instead of my Nvidia one, which is another problem in itself. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

So I have been having this problem a lot so I tried uninstalling all my mods and even uninstalling mod organiser and mod manager and reinstalled them and my game still crashed so I tried disabling each mod one after the other too see which one was crashing it and found nothing so I disabled all my mods and did a vanilla new game and it still crashed my game when I tried to change to female help mee

Straight to the point right now cause' i'm a little heated. I deleted everything of Skyrim from my documents and steam files this morning to do a fresh install of Skyrim and Mods. I had an ENB in mind that required obviously ENB v0.244 so I go download the recent one. Place the .dll in the Skyrim folder where the TESV is. Then before installing ANYTHING ELSE (No other mods installed what so ever) I start up Skyrim, and get CTD after clicking new game. Now I have done my fair search through our friendly neighborhood savior, Google. Only thing I have found that I have found somewhat useful is having an application running in the background that makes it crash. But I've closed just about everything I could think that could cause this. SO! Please help my poor self. If you need any other information please ask. I'm desperate at the moment.

I have been having lots of crashes when playing the game, mostly when stating a save or 50 mins into the game. Because of this I decided to reinstall Skyrim (Removed skyrim folder). I reinstalled every thing as you have said, I have to demit that last time I installed all the mods I did them all wrong so I thought this was the problem at the time. So this time when reinstall I thought that I would do it as proper and effective as I can so I installed everything in the order you said and as the other guide said. The only things that I have not change since the last installation of skyrim was the .ini files and the render file. I didn't install (Supreme Storms for Climates of Tamriel, Climates of Tamriel, True Storms, Lightning during Thunder Storms by Minty, Lightning during Thunder Storms.) because I didn't need them and don't want them and could improve the Frames and stop some crashes. To install the other visual mods I used SMC in this is (2K HD, deadly spell impacts, ench blood textures, HD terrain, realistic waters 2, skyfall - skymills, distwaterfalls and mills, SMIM, Skyrim distance overhaul, LOD improvements, transparent waves, re-texture for waters 2, ENB textures for waters 2).
