  1. Hi everyone, As the title states the MCM does not work on my main save. It will look like this: https://pasteboard.co/efLTMXJqTozg.png However, on a different save, it will look like this, completely working and fine: https://pasteboard.co/gFEAXusKWFKd.png On the save where it is broken, I admit that I accidentally opened the Bethesda Mods menu. I know this breaks everything. I have about 100 hours into this save, and I'm not very interested in totally restarting just to get some menus to work. The game otherwise runs fine, and I believe every mod is working as intended. Still, I'd just like to have it working. I've tried reinstalling SkyUI and forcing the MCM to update in the command console. The issue seems to be totally baked into the save. I am playing Skyrim SE. Everything is up to date according to Vortex. I'm not sure if there is anything else I could try doing, but any and all help would be appreciated. Thanks!
  2. I'm having an issue where RaceMenu isn't loading into Skyrim. All that shows up is the vanilla character creator with some extra ui details, but nothing that resembles RaceMenu. I have the latest version of SKSE, SkyUI and have tried multiple versions of Racemenu. Tried running only Racemenu/SkyUI on an otherwise vanilla game, so I don't think it's a conflict with another mod. Eventually, I decided to give up and use Enhanced Character Edit instead but was still having the same issues. I'm honestly at a loss for what to do. I've already checked multiple times that the Racemenu plugin is enabled, so I don't think it's that. Here's a copy of the Vortex-generated load order.   3. Hello guys, I just installed the game and some mods and for some reason all mannequins now keep unequipping/not accepting armor (no relations to a specific item). It doesn't dupplicate armor, just won't "accept" some itens or accept others (if I leave the house or go to the cellar and come back the itens accepted or refused may change). It happens in all houses, all mannequins. Aditionaly to unequipping armor/clothes/rings/etc. it's also possible that a item will be "accepted" by the mannequin returning to the inventory as a stole item. If I disable SkyUI OR USLEEP the problem is gone (also won't happen if both are disabled) but if any of them stays on it will happen. If all the other mods are active and SkyUI and/or USLEEP are disabled the problem won't happen. I also tried using the Unofficial patches (vanilla and DLC) as opposed to USLEEP but with the same results. My load order (using LOOT) is correct and changing the ordem SkyUI loads made no difference. Anyone has any suggestion?   4. I'm using skse version 2.0.6, the game and mod itself are running well but I got this strange bug where whenever i move my character the ab (stomach) area starts to portrude, like a giant lump. I walk some more and now the ab area kind of implodes. Anyone know how to fix this issue?
  5. So recently I bought Skyrim SE and started modding. I downloaded a few mods, and decided to install the latest versions of SKSE 64 and SkyUI. Everything runs fine through character creation, up to the point when you enter Helgen keep and get your gear. Almost immediately after opening my inventory, the game crashes. No error message or anything. I've tried a few things to fix this, none of them worked. I made sure I had SKSE installed correctly, made sure I was using the SKSE launcher, checked my load order, verified file integrity with steam, disabled the touch keyboard and handwriting panel service, and ran everything as an administrator. If anyone has any ideas as to what could be causing this, I'd appreciate it.

Hello, I was thinking, when you have a heavily modded game, you MCM looks like a mess because the list is huge, I do know that there is a mod that lets you choose de order that the mods appear on the list, but I was thinking of a list that would show it side by side. This way, we would see much more in less time. I made something on Paint (I'm not good at photoshop and I just wanted to do it quickly). See image attached. Does anyone agree? Can anyone do it?   7. I have a mod to install that has two versions, sorted and unsorted. It is the Rustic Soulgems mod. I use SkyUI (v. 2.2 since SKSE 64 stopped working with the latest SE update recently). Should I install the sorted or unsorted version?
  8. I was wondering where are stored the SkyUI icons you see in the magic menu? the little red fire for fire spells, the snowflake for ice spells etc... i searched but can't seem to find any. I am making a mod that adds new spells and thought of making my own custom little icons for SkyUI users.
  9. HI! I do not know if there is a thread for this allrdy. But my problem is simple. When I want to enter inv. loot or use Q. the game crash. And I dunno why. Can some1 help me?.. Hi, I was emptying my inventory into one chest, and it took me a while to do it, I was wondering if there would be a mod which means I could just empty my inventory by pressing the same button on my character to deposit all. It would save me a LOT of time. I've seen some mods which involve placing an item in said chest, and there are console commands which do the same too, but I would find it so much easier if I could just press a key and have my items placed in the chest. PS, I use SkyUI so it would have to be compatible with it :happy:

  12. Hey, So I've been modding skyrim using the Nexus Mod Manager for well over a year with no issues. I recently bought a new PC however, and now some mods aren't appearing in-game, nor will they register with the MCM. I've checked the load order, putting SkyUI above all other mods, uninstalled and reinstalled both Skyrim, Nexus Mod Manager, as well as SKSE (manually from their website as some people suggest). Also I should mention I have an SSD and a HD on this new PC, whereas I only had one drive on my old PC (which worked fine) - I keep pretty much all my files on the HD, and specifically install both the mod manager and Skyrim on the same drive. The mods with issue are 'Enhanced Blood Textures' and 'Skyrim Flora Overhaul' - though these are the only mods I've tried, I'm sure other mods I'd like to try won't work either, (I don't know why these mods wouldn't work while others would?). SkyUI, however, works perfectly fine seemingly. I had a similar issue with Skyrim Special Edition, which I got round by manually installing both of these mods. To be honest though I'd rather just use the mod manager, and I can't see why it shouldn't work. Anyway let me know if you have any suggestions, or if I'm being an idiot. Cheers.
  13. the mod itself works fine, but I downloaded a mod called 'A quality world map' through nexus as well, and while its supposedly supposed to be compatible with SkyUI in some way, whenever I start the game and open up my map, it says that there's an error with SkyUI and its versions, saying that its version 4.1 and not 5.1. I reinstalled the mod, nothing happened. I checked the in-game mod configuration and it said that it was 5.1, but the error still continued. I reinstalled 'A quality world map' and this time configured it so that the compatibility feature would not be present, and my game crashed when I opened it. I tried installing SkyUI through steam workshop, and my game crashed. if I were to actually be asking a question, it would be these two: how are these two mods compatible? does it really matter at all? because if its not necessary I would like to just ignore it (both mods work perfectly fine if you don't count what they do when put together, so if I don't need it I don't want it) if its actually useful I would like some help. Second question: How do I fix this? Simple question, long answer. I hope you guys can help me! Thanks
  14. SkyUI Problem Report Fix these problems , then press 'Refresh' to confirm that they're gone. After all problems have been resolved, you can continue with the installation. ----------- Problem #1: ----------- There are files in your 'Data/' folder, which override newer versions from the SkyUI.bsa archive. These files are: Data/Scripts/SKI_ConfigBase.pex Data/Scripts/SKI_ConfigManager.pex Data/Scripts/SKI_QuestBase.pex Potential causes: * An old SkyUI version was not uninstalled before installing the new one. Solution: 1. If you have an old SkyUI version installed in NMM, uninstall it, then try again. 2. If there are still problematic files reported, delete them manually.
  15. My idea is instead of making the favorites menu BIGGER we keep it the same size and add more tabs. So instead of having everything categorized on one big page each category will get its own tab. There would be enough room on the current menu for 4 more tabs. My idea would be to remove the everything tab and split up the shouts and magic into two tabs, and add a weapons, apparel, equip sets and utility tab giving us 8 in all. If anyone knows how to do this but doesn't want to just let me know how and I'll be glad to do it myself.

So one day i went to purge all my mods for a reinstall cause some of my mods weren't showing up in game, when i went to reinstall SkyuI a little red X popped up sying s*** along the lines of it was being stopped by System.Security.Permissions.EnviormentPermissions. I saw another post about this before but everyone was so vague it was painful and useless information nothing I have tried has fixed this at all no matter how i install SKSE. so someone with the decency to properly explain the solution legibly please help me out here. I have gone up and done back and fourth deleting all in my way on this computer trying to find the source of this issue but all i can understand is the issue seems to either be skyui itself or my computer.

I just picked one of my old games back up, and - as I think we all know - inventory management can become kind of overwhelming in Skyrim, especially when you're using mods that restrict your carry weight. Regardless if you do or not, I think it would be really great to have an inventory hotkey button that can "mark an item for sale" and put a little icon next to it, so that way you know not to throw it in storage (if you're a hoarder like me) and that way you can easily locate it when you go to a shopkeeper. I think it'd be a really useful quality of life improvement for this game. No idea how to implement it on my own or if it could even be implemented, though. Thoughts?
  18. Hello there! Background: - I just recently started delving into the creation kit to customize my game and I have a question on items displaying in menus. Right now I'm changing meshes to a bunch of unique items in the game (which is going great but is super tedious, mad respect to all the modders out there) and some of the items when I look them up in the menu are oriented in weird ways. For example, as a test, I replaced the unique one handed sword "Dragonbane" from its Akaviri blades mesh to a one handed glass sword mesh. Everything loaded up fine, weapon had its model, textures, and effects, but when I went to the menu to select it the item model was laying flat (as if laying on the ground) instead of vertical. It's a small thing but it's pretty annoying to have to not be able to get a good look at the weapon when selecting it in menus or to have to reorient it every time. Question: - So my question is, is there a way to change the preset orientation of an item in menus? If anyone can point me to the right way, that'd be very appreciated! Other Info: - I'm using creation kit. - For the way I change meshes, I just go into creation kit, look up the weapon ID, select the weapon and change the model to my desired nif file. I make sure to make copies of nifs and give them unique names so they don't override other things and so I can freely just focus on adjusting the unique nif. For example for dragonbane, I copied the glass one handed sword nif and then renamed it dragonbane.nif. - TOTAL NOOB Modder, detail on how to go about solving the issue would be really appreciated. But the threads i found were from 2014 and the mod manager and skse and skyui had been updated a lot since then and the solutions that have been displayed there dont work for me. I'm not a pro in the scripting part. Rather an end-user. I bought Skyrim se before and installed a lot of mods there. Trying to fix my error i already uninstalled and reinstalled the mod manager. i got the Problem then, that it cannot connect to the update server, but i got the lasted version so it wont be an issue there. I i tried to install SkyUi manually and via mod manager already. Skse is installed via steam itself. Another issiue is that some of my mods like a hair set wont get downloaded since i "already installed" it. but that was for Skyrim se not Skyrim itself. Please help, thank you.
  20. Hi guys, I've been modding (troubleshooting and editing mods) for a while, and i'm stuck. A few of my mods requiers MCM managing, MCM being a part of SkyUI, if SkyUI doesn't works, MCM eiter. Well, my version of SKSE is 2.0.7, so i'm clearly updated, in game, when i check SkyUI in " Mods " and reload the game, all works fine, i can even play without any bugs but even if one of my mods says " SkyUI installation decteded"> I don't have the MCM ANYWHERE, and even the HUD of SkyUI isn't here, its like my SkyUI isn't installed (nothing changes from vanilla) but it is installed! How can i fix this? How can i make SkyUI works (in game HUD changements + MCM)

OK, So I've resisted working with SKSE 64 because of all of the version issues and the wait until Vortex, etc. Back before SKSE 64 there was a version of SkyUI that apparently worked without SKSE for SE? Does anyone know about that version and if it is possible to stably use SkyUI without SKSE? I understand that this sounds ridiculous. Thanks!
  22. Hey guys i just installed Skyrim with all its components. I installed all Add-Ons and the things i need for Modding, SkyUI, SKSE, FNSI Behaviors+Spells+CreaturePack. Now i added a few of Mods and everything works perfect except the problem, i have no MCM (Mod configuration menu) it doesnt show up. And if i try to install SkyUI via NexusModManager the error below in the link appears ( could just upload one image in the forum because the second one was too big).   23. At the SkyUI mod page, someone asked: "will skyui be ported over to the special edition?" One of the mod authors responded: "Short answer: I don't know, but I think it's unlikely." "Longer answer: We're no longer active and I in particular am not going to put any more work in. Got neither the time nor is it fun anymore, so I really shouldn't be doing it. In general, I have nothing against porting it though. If we ever get to the point where someone else took care of all the details and all I have to do is update the .esp, recompile and upload, then I will do so. I just don't really expect anyone to do that." So, my request is, would someone be willing to re-write SkyUI in the CK for the Skyrim SE since (at least one of) the mod authors has said they wouldn't mind? I'd do it but I have absolutely no knowledge of how to do so.
  24. So... hey everyone. Just gonna say first, I'm not technical or anything. My game runs pretty okay, I've got a crap laptop so everything is on low settings and i've got mods, but my game has a tendency to be horribly unstable and crash every now and then. It's most likely a mod thing but between the crashes that happen once every few hours, the game is pretty fine apart from not responding on loading screens- usually not an issue at all though. Except when it does crash, trying to re-load the games causes a CTD. usually validating the files through steam works to get it up and running again, but i was hoping the mod safety load mod would help with my problems a little since i saw people praising it like the second coming of jesus when it comes to stopping CTDs while loading up the game. Since downloading it i've had an invalid papyrus ini come up which i have NO clue how to solve, even after doing about two hours of googling. I tried doing the getinisomething "imaxallocatedmemorybytes" thing to see what the issue could be and on that particular line the memory bytes was in the negatives. I reckon that's where my papyrus problems are coming from. The mod itself actually did nothing to solve my problems either so i uninstalled it lol. Not really looking for a fix for my modding causing my game to become a potato, just the whole papyrus issue. Got any clue how it could be solved? :confused: Before this i could deal with my potato skyrim, my impatience just got the better of me.

Obviuosly they have their reasons I just hope someone in the know now takes the reigns as this is a must have MOD.
