  1. Just wanna say I absolutely love this community and its amazing modders! This is just an idea I'm throwing out, but after seeing the incredible "Romance Enhanced" mods which added so many new text messages from major characters, I've been wondering if it would be possible to implement something similiar for Songbird? Specifically, after V (any gender) risks it all to save Songbird and send her to the Moon, it would be amazing to actually receive messages from her. I'm aware that she does leave a few things behind for V, but it really is almost radio silence from her by that point. It would be magical if V could actually converse with her after saving her life, and potentially be a way to add some romantic implications between them through texts! (as you can tell I really wish there was a Songbird romance for Phantom Liberty haha) Anyway, that's just an idea that's been stuck in my head. Thanks for reading, choom!
  2. After being spoiled by YouTube that Radahn is back as the final boss of the DLC, I rushed through the DLC not caring about exploration or NPCs. Now I'm stuck unable to get through Radahn's first phase... I'm looking for a mod that can edit the event flags so I would be able to either completely reset Thiollier's and Ansbach's quests or make it so I can summon them as if I completed their questlines. So far I've tried Claymore's Save Editor but it keeps crashing when I try to load a DLC save. Please give recommendations for a mod that can do that.
  3. The problem occurs shortly after I meet with Roche at hanged mans tree. Roche & I start running towards mulbrydale, and as soon as we reach the town area, Roche vanishes into thin air, and the quest log says Ves is dead. when this happens, Ves's health bar never appears in the HUD either. I do often use the debug console to allowe fast travel. In a previous quest, after i killed whoreson Junior, i fast travelled out of the mansion which means i didnt trigger the cutscene with Radovid where he tasks me to find Philippa Eilhart. After realizing this i reloaded a previous save, had the conversation with Radovid and then went on to do the Eye for an Eye quest with Roche. unfortunately the problem still persists, and i would very much like to have the "Full Troup" Achievement, but more importantly, in my role play i would like to save Ves. If anyone has any possible solutions, i would be very grateful.
  4. Wondering about DLC options, shale back to dwarf woman, if control rod can be fixed and what would happen if you did? That Gi in the magic shop in Denirum that can only be worn be female dwarfs? Dose that clothing imply she can return to herself a Dwarf? A female Golem with a fantastic four, male rock man shape is unnerving, and feels incomplete somehow with that voice, wanting for something, one way or the other. Then again, the cursed woman turned to stone in the mage origin became a statue of a man as well. hmm... ether the Dev's are kinky, view the enforced male shape as punishment, part of the curse, or are too cheap to make a female stone model.
  5. Alister went from my fav character to my most hated, zero to 60, in under a minuet. Playing origin and I was worried about Alister dyng, because thought he was a good funny guy, reminded me of my childhood friends, but now I am going to see that he dose die on my human noble, and I am going to laugh as I put Logan on grey wardens. If he screwed Mori and you find out in inquisition unless this was ret conning, Alister's lunch. You don't F with my wardens. I only wish there was a option to tell him why I'm doing it, but the devs will not have put that in. I knew there would be some horrible thing in this rp game to spoil my fun and make it a grudge match of evil...oh well. Time to torture Alister. *grins, considering the doc in wardens keep, wonder if he needs one for the vault?* Maybe I could even convert Alister into a bonus spell? Alister, I'm going to get mid-evil on your ass. Of course with the devs screwed up view points, it will be like I'm just evil and doing it for no reason, they never give you the option to complain to characters about anything worth ''traditionally and obviously'' complaining about, just the option to sound like a jerk or a whiner if complains.
  6. While I was trying to find my way to a dragon roost, I ran into a giant spider, which one-shot me, sending me back to dawnstar. That was rather annoying. Ever since then, I've run into them on the surface in several places. I even just ran into two fighting each other. I've never seen these things spawn on the surface before. Keep in mind, I'm playing without mods, so this can't be a mod issue. I also ran into an 'orc' in an inn, which I've never had happen before either. I also have the Alikr still spawning all over the place, including the entrance to whiterun even though I've already done their quest. I also ran into Skjor while walking around in Eastmarsh. I've run into that bug once before. I just disabled him like I did the first time. What is going on here? How are giant spiders spawning all over the map? I've only ever seen them as bosses in dungeons. Is this a bug or something the unofficial patch fixes? I have played 100% vanilla playthroughs several times in the past, but I can't ever remember running into these things on the surface like they were normal spawns. What the crap is happening?
  7. I'm looking for a way to recruit Minsc even though Jaheira died at Moonrise Towers. For context, I've heard that there was a bug where you could recruit him if Jaheira was in your party and she died in the siege. I unfortunately never knew she could enter my party and I'm not willing to reload all the way to act 2 to try and get her into my party just for this. If there was some mod to maybe tell the game that she's alive, I imagine that would be as simple as flipping a boolean value. But I don't know how to make mods for Baldur's Gate 3 and would love if someone could help me out here. I'd even take something as cheaty as spawning her back in directly to my party. I don't wanna kill Minsc, I loved him in the first 2 games and Boo's squeaking is heartbreaking.
  8. If your Dwarven Warden -Noble or Commoner- survives the end battle (in DAO) courtesy of a dark ritual, does being declared a Paragon carry over into Awakening? Or is it something that solely exists in the End Slides of Origins?
  9. I would love a mod that lets you revive Alfira in a Dark Urge playthrough (her murder is a fixed plot point, can't be avoided), even if, once she's revived, she runs off with her Tiefling friends.
  10. ****SPOILER WARNING****DO NOT READ IF YOU CARE ABOUT SPOILERS**** I had a realization recently...and people might find this a bit silly (it is, tbh...but I do have a point, I swear!). I don't actually hate any of the bosses in Skyrim. There are personal reasons for this - let me explain: I'm pretty unusual as a person, I guess. I am part of the goth subculture (this is relevant, you'll see why). Obviously, I won't explode if I step outside and into the sunlight in real life...but playing a fantasy game where unrealistic things can happen...for example: Being goth, I tend to play "goth" / "goth inspired" characters...so...a vampire who wants to block out the sun. I'm 100% on board with that!! Whether I choose to become a vampire or not, it still helps my player character to keep her nice, pale complexion! Even if not a vampire, she'd probably still choose vampires as allies wherever possible. They have things in common lol. Black clothing, pale complexion, hate sunlight, spooky interests, coffins are cool, etc. See where I'm going with this? I mean, don't get me wrong...Harkon is definitely a jerk. Especially for what he pretty much forced his family to endure. Helping Serana get revenge against her power-mad father is awesome...plus, sacrificing mortals is not very nice...but I tend to play as Chaotic Good-ish...and also a Daedra worshipper...so I'd probably side with Harkon as far as blotting out the sun goes and then find another way to solve the "Vampire Take-over" problem. Technically...vampires are people too. Serana herself is proof that they are not ALL evil. It doesn't help that we get Auriel's bow and can still blot out the sun (in a much weaker way) anyway. I'm all for helping Serana defeat Harkon - he most definitely deserves it...and I agree that Serana shouldn't have to DIE for eternal night to happen...I dislike Harkon because of his bad decisions / power for hunger / disregard for his family...but I like his general ideas. My point is I don't hate him as much as I should. As for Alduin - I can't really hate him either. Depending on how seriously you take the lore, he's either going to destroy everything or he's rebelling against his duty to destroy everything. If he's rebelling, my character would be 100% on board with that as well. Go against your destiny! Why not? Sure, she's the Dragonborn who's supposed to save the world from "The World Eater"...but he's a BLACK SPIKY DRAGON! How can she not find that cool?! He's either just doing his job, or he's rebelling against his own nature. How can anyone hate him for that? Miraak is under the control of Hermaeus Mora and is eventually betrayed because...DAEDRA. They don't care, and also don't exist by the same laws / morality as mortals. I hate Hermaeus Mora more than I dislike Miraak. But we never get to actually FIGHT Hermaeus Mora. If we did, we'd pretty obviously not win...but STILL. The point is...TWO DRAGONBORNS!?!? She'd definitely be intrigued at the very least and want to learn / find out as much as she could from him. Sure, he's a jerk too...especially the dragon-soul-stealing and hypnotizing people...but Hermaeus Mora is still much worse! Trying to force her to be the "new champion"? No thanks. She has already pledged her soul to Nocturnal. She'd do everything in her power to escape Hermaeus Mora. Especially since he tries to corner you not once...but MULTIPLE TIMES. Actually, she wouldn't like Molag Bal very much either...with his whole 'domination' thing. But we can't fight the Daedric Princes...and if we could - like I said - we wouldn't win. My point with all this rambling and ranting is that I don't feel "fulfilled" defeating these bosses. Which is majorly due to my own / my character's nature. I don't play as a 'Talos Worshipping Champion of Meridia' and use the "Power of Light and Sunshine" to defeat my enemies. If anyone knows of any mods that add...idk...evil unicorn rainbow pixie pink cupcake princess glitter bubblegum bosses...that want to...turn Tamriel pink...and cause eternal sunshine and rainbows and infect everyone with the giggles...*cringe*...please let me know.

I'm not shore how hard it will be to do this but i think it will be really cool if there was a mod that makes changes to cities and textures of things and buildings bassed on what universe you go to through the unity so it is actully more like a parallel universe. it coud be very different the more you go through the unity. a mod that does that would be so cool

Hello everyone, I don't really like the way New Game+ works, these changes would be appreciated by me and by many others. - The option to start New Game+ from the main menu, or simply have a pop-up to start completely from the start as a starborn meaning level one, but with the starborn powers (this isnt really necessary as it can be done with console commands) - The option to unlock all starborn dialogue options without the need to do the missions in previous playthroughs. Spending like 100h to unlock them and then start over is dumb in my opinion. I want to have the dialogue options and build my outposts, do NPC quests ect. You know, be the ultimate starborn who gave up at jumping universes and decided to settle in one. I tried to use the command to complete every quest in the game to achieve this but you can guess how that went. P.S: Sorry for the title, forgot to specify and can't change it now.
  13. I am using Vortex 1.4.16 and am trying to mod Skyrim Special Edition (though this problem persists with Fallout 4 and New Vegas) and Vortex will not install mods. I currently have 216 mods enabled. They seem to download just fine, but I get an error message when I try to install new ones. I can enable and disable mods, though. I can run the game just fine as well.   14. So im currently helping my partner set up a modlist, its slowly but surely gotten more and more intense in regards to whats being added. Since its so big obvs been working on it over time with lots of steps taken, I am not new to modding and am rather sure I havnt missed anything obvious. So today was about adding the ah... *NSFW* mods, so frameworks, animation packs and such, nothing that did any major model changes. However upon doing so missing textures and crashes came up. The primary issues being that torches/fog and the majority of the body/face textures are purple/invisble and in character creation changing the race to female just crashes the game. So I went back, removing them and the issues persisted. Reinstalled all the texture mods and its all still bugged out, I know that I can slash/burn and reinstall but when you see the modlist you'll understand why that is my last resort. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated, thank you for your time.   15. I am looking for a way to make the vanilla ED-E robot companion to use the sounds and animations of the ED-E clone on the lonesome road DLC. I tried to mess with it in xEdit, thought it would be a package configuration or something, but I failed to find the exact form to change vanilla ED-E's effects, since I'm not very experienced in editing NPCs. I refer to the sound effects ED-E plays while you sneak, and the animations he plays when you talk to him, for instance. I do not want a mod that makes LR's ED-E playable after you finish it, because I'd like the changes to take place at the very start of the game, where you can recruit ED-E pretty early. If someone knows of such a mod or can give me direction as to how I could accomplish this, that'd be great. Thanks.
  16. I got no clue where it went wrong. For some reason my mace suddenly does 4 DAMAGE... All the weapons are heavily under-scaled. i tried a lot of things like reinstalling every mod, google for 32178574 hours. all the s#*!. Hell i even tried to re-wyrebash them mods over 5 times. NOTHING worked. I'd love to see a mod for a quest that takes place after Riften has reached a certain state: Prerequisites: - Thieves Guild Questchain ended. - DB Questchain ended. - Civil War Faction chosen. - No more quests concerning her unfinished. As soon as these are all completed and Maven is either Jarl or not: If Stormcloaks win: The Jarl of Riften orders you to get X pieces of evidence that are sufficient to bring Maven, and potentially more of the family to justice. (Execution for maven, exile for the rest of the bunch): Pickpocket evidence from some, break and aquire from smuggler-harbor, meadery, ... bribe prostitute to get it from one of the sons... And - this would be a nice little twist: Buy / convince one of the thieves guild members to give you one of the evidences. You then take the Evidence to the Jarl and get some "Unbelievable! Riften will finally be free! Guards! Go an arrest ALL of the Black-Briars!" If the Imperials win and Maven is Jarl (this I hate!): - 1 Imperial High-Commander and his two guards in the Inn will give the tasks to the Dragonborn. That Imperial commander will, once the Anti-Black-Briars proof is delivered then take over as "Acting Jarl" in Riften for the time being. Both sides: After all this the Quest giver will tell the player to take a letter to the thief who gave that one important evidence: An offer of pardon IF the thieves guild agrees to be considered a kind of secret service from now on. They are pretty free to do what they seem fit, but they are not allowed to disrupt public safety, make their existance known to the public or disrupt official operations. Failure to comply will result in death warrants. Also a nice reward if offered for any evidence brought forth on other criminal activities that need to be taken care of: Skooma trade, illegal alchemy labs or even necromancy, ... yadda yadda... :wink: Result: A Black-Briar free Riften and a kind of restored sense of Justice to the player. Since the quest it purely optional, the BB-Lovers (really, anyone like her?) and full-time-thieves can just turn it down with an "I looked, but found no evidence"-Option after a week of ingame time, or so. :wink: --- What you need to be capable off: - Adding NPC - Scripting, - Quests and all that - Placing items - Dialogues What you actually don't need to do is creating any new Meshes or textures or graphics or shaders, afaik. Unless "letters" need to be created as unique graphics each (maybe there are ways around written word, and just use dialogues with messengers or such instead). I wouldn't even voice-act any of this before the basic concept proves itself functioning. --- Yes, I know there is a bunch of crud to do and know and research (quests... creation kit, ...), but I'm rather confident that this mod would be loved by many MANY players and would actually motivate lots of people to finish all the quests.   21. So now that I've decided I'm bored with my own Neutral Good alignment, I'm going to switch it up and play Chaotic-Neutral Evil. Enter Ramsay "RamBo" Bolton, to assist me with getting into character. I'm sticking with the Iwan Rheon portrayal rather than the book character, because he is written as a more charismatic character, I could see him being, polite diplomatic, and hell, even charming, right up until the point he flays your entire family in front of you. I can see him either being the illegitimate son of a dead Cousland brother, thus starting in the Human Noble origin in Highever (The North) or, with the lovely origin override thing, he could be the rape child of the Arl of Denerim and and Adaia, forced to grow up among peasant elves. CITY ELF-HUMAN The narcissistic child of Arl Kendells and an elf rogue, Ramsay was denied acceptance among his noble kin, and forced to endure the humiliation of being raised among slaves. Sharing the same sadistic urges as his half brother Vaughn, he'd likely be jealous of their power and their parties on entering the luxurious castle that could've (and in his mind should've) been his. Would he leave Shianni for dead? Probably, as that might be a very fun game. It would give him a chance to get in with his brother, whom he could always kill later. This Warden would have his mother's wild and impulsive streak, but not her kindness to temper it; her skill with a bow or knife, but not her love for friends and family. HUMAN NOBLE Adopted by his uncle Bryce, Ramsay is secretly quite pleased about his family's deaths. He may have seemed an obliging, obedient boy when he agreed to steward the castle while his family were away, but that was only because he wanted to avoid suspicion when his brother eventually became the victim of some kind of accident. For a few moments, he reveled in the fact that Howe had unwittingly done his dirty work for him. Fergus, after all, may die in battle, get killed by Howe's men, or die of some strange disease when he returns. This would allow Ramsay to fall nicely into the wronged hero role and take Highever for back. The new plan sounds perfect...until he gets forcibly conscripted into the Grey Wardens (gutted, RamBo, gutted.) This origin already gives him a Mabari, which, unlike every other playthrough I've done, would never be left at camp. Whether he would save a dog in Ostagar (as a city elf-human) is uncertain, though I think he might if he knew that they usually only belong to those of noble blood, that would appeal to his vanity and narcissism. Also, while he might enter the kennel with the intent to slay the dog, when he sees how savage it looks, he may decide he could train and use it for his amusement. QUESTIONS: Which backstory sounds better? Any mod that makes it so an elf/ elf origin human can marry Anora? Is there any way to have the Cousland mabari and then recruit the other anyway? Ramsay needs more hounds, and he'll get other beasts from Ranger spec... To betray Morrigan to Flemeth or not? Morrigan get along with him and likely agree with his every decision...but Ramsay likes a little random betrayal...
  22. If you're like myself and any others, you've come to dislike how the Synth Shaun looks in that same, boring striped shirt. You've tried to use the console to switch him to something else, but as soon as the cell resets, his hard coded attire does as well. Mine mod suggestion would either be one that gets rid of the striped shirt combo from being hard coded onto him, or one that does the same, but adds a settlement item that allows you to customize said synth. Sure, it's nothing huge, and not many people might be bothered by it, but I doubt it'd take much time to code. Much thanks if any good modder decided to read this.
  23. Basically every time I visit Orzammar, I never cease to wonder how come only Bhelen and Harrowmont compete for the throne if the system is an elective monarchy. We know there are both kings and queens. So, how is it possible only two "parties" want to take the cake?
  24. so my idea for a mod is one that is a bit of a tall order but since the creation kit is out i hope to see this happen at some point the mod idea is being able to turn back the damage done in the final few quests of the main story, so for those who dont know, you pick a side institiute, brotherhood, minutemen, or railroad. all but one has you destroying 2 factions in the process. institute kills brotherhood and railroad, railroad kills brotherhood and institute, brotherhood kills railroad and institute, and minutemen kill only the institute. so the idea is that you can PICK any side and finish the game (for me its the brotherhood) but when its all done add the mod and poof all factions exist again. my main reason behind wanting for the mods existence is the fact that if i were to go back to the faction split save id lose a ton of progress roughly (37 hours) ive made in other quests i discovered after the main quest, building up settlements and completely redesigning my supply lines so it wasnt a mess where i cant see any of the settlement cuz of the lines (this alone took like 5 hours tracking down the provisioners). additionally because of the factions now being destroyed it removes areas from the game essentially making a small map even smaller and already limited content even more limited to the side you picked. itd be like skyrim if you took out windhelm and riften in total destruction, youd miss all the things that were once there, all the stores, the followers, and any quests you didnt get at the time. so in my case i cant go back to the railroad and get railroad stealthboys, gauss rifles or their heavy armor with ballistic weave (which is better than brotherhood standard power armor), i also would miss out on repeatable quests like the MILAs and weapons caches, or go to the institute to build in that institute settlement mod and have the ability to arm your settlers with institute weapons from the vendor. For others itd be unable to use the airport full workshop mod, lose all the settlers there that are now the brotherhood friends, being unable to buy power armor from a good source, not being able to use vertibirds anymore(!!!) and not 1 but 2 misc quest that youd pick up just from beating enemies and exploring (blood samples and technical docs) so the main outline would be to restore the areas that are completely destroyed like the prydwen, and MIT in two different versions A) it restores all factions and i guess makes them all non hostile again like at the point of the split or B) restores all factions and for the institute/railroad since its only mostly interior cells you could just make the interior cell have non hostile npcs but outside have the synths/railroad people be hostile for more enemies (couldnt really work with brotherhood since they have stores inside and outside of their area). i mean additionally you could have it work like the battle of bunker hill, i alerted all factions to see an all out brawl and since i was friends with everybody i was able to kill ALL the factions involved and have no repercussions to it beyond the people in the area of the same faction turning hostile towards me in just this fight. this however seems a bit much to ask for.

This is about the original way the series would have or may have gone and what the original intentions were for things in the Dragon Age world before the sequels retconned things. "No they didn't!" I can already hear a fanboy cry, but sadly it is truth. Just like how Anakin was not originally Darth Vader (fun fact if you didnt know but the original script had Anakin as a ghost in Empire Strikes back training Luke alongside the not at that time yet named Yoda) so too did Dragon Age originally have a different direction however there is no leaked script or anything that I know of that has the answers to the series that I and I assume other fans want. So with that in mind, let's talk Dragon Age theories. Topics we should probably try to cover 1. What really are the Darkspawn and what is their origin 2. Why would the old gods lead the darkspawn against humans 3. Was Andraste a false prophet 4. What is up with Sandal Oh super tired but will throw this out there now. Eluvians that are connected to the void are how the taint spreads. There is one in the deep roads and that is why they always seem to come back. Backed up by Duncan going to smash one in the elf origin and knowing a lot about it. But thats just a theory, a 2am theory....im going to bed now.
