  1. At ~level 47, after clearing out Dunwich Borers, I just couldn't sprint. I could before visiting there, and I've done the following to try and fix it: Pressed caps lock (im not that dumb)Added "fPlayerDisableSprintingLoadingCellDistance=0" to all .ini files in the Fallout 4 folder in DocumentsLoaded previous saves, at the start of the game, and points throughoutDone the aforementioned save loading, but without mods"recycleactor""player.getav actionpoints", which returned my actual AP, not 0SleptRemapping the sprint keyFast travelingEntering and exiting Power ArmorI have no status effects, and positive SPECIAL attributes (7 STR, 6 END), 165/175 AP, and I have a couple mods on the Fallout 4 integrated mod system, and most others on NMM. My AP works fine using VATS. I've tried so many solutions but to no avail. Please help?
  2. Happens after leaving cells or after intense complicated battles with V.A.T.S. Neither Sprint Mod, Solid Project, nor Project Nevada sprints didn't add any actual speed, I just jog with normal vanilla running speed or even a bit slower, just with AP drain and motion blur effect. Reinstalling all three mods changed nothing. Increasing base running speed through console commands works, but it is not really a solution.   3. Hello everyone! I need help with this - when i switch from run to sprint in game my character jitters for a couple of frames.Would really appreciate any advice on this! Im using TDM + SmoothCam + SkySA with a couple animation mods that have compatibility, as far as i know. I dont know after what mod this exactly happened. Tried to install walking, running and sprinting animation mods, thought it was the vanilla animation glitch, didnt help. Maybe there is some way to clean all animations from mods or a tool that allows you to see what is conflicting with what exactly? My modlist and load order: And here is the video with the issue:
  4. Hey everyone, i've been having an issue where whenever i sprint with either project NV or solid project I get a stutter. The odd thing is that it only seems to occur on my 150+ hour character. If i start a new character then the stutter disappears and everything works. Any suggestions? THX.   5. I dislike how any small fall while riding a horse causes it to stop galloping. Is there a mod that will re-apply a gallop if you continue holding forward, or a mod that simply disabled the fall from stopping a gallop? Thanks.
  6. In my New Vegas game I play in third person a lot and I like walking places. It feels more natural to walk places instead of jogging everywhere and I even have a "faster walking" mod installed to make my walking NOT painstakingly slow. I decided to install the sprint mod because sprinting is fun, and I wanted to have what most FPS games have: shift to run. However, I wanted to maintain my ability to walk so I binded 'walk' to Left-Alt and attempted to bind sprint to left-shift using the Vault-Tec Pedometer provided by the mod. However, it appears the pedometer does not register my pressing of the shift key during binding, and now I have TAB to sprint for some reason. Can someone give me a way to have my sprinting bound to Shift without replacing my walk keybind?

Im looking for a mod that change the movement of the game,i want to overwrite the Sprinting (s#*!) with the Running (Capslock) movement and speed and need to still consume AP,and the Slow Walk will work as normal walk. That way i'll always slow walk,then pressing shift my character need to do the normal running animation but consuming AP per second,to simplify im looking for a Resident Evil looking movement's Sorry if i mispel some words,inglish its not my native language,thanks for read my request.
  8. Hi fellow people of Nexus , recently I reinstalled my Skyrim Special Edition to start a new game and become a werewolf . I installed moonlight tales SE mod for a better werewolf experience and today I just completed the companions quest in order to become a werewolf . However , I noticed a strange bug . Every time when i start to sprint with the werewolf , the right/left leg (I dont remember exactly which) starts to "cripple" and it feels so buggy . I did a bit of research in google but I didnt find the fix to this annoying bug . Can someone help me ? Greetings :laugh:
  9. A few days ago i started getting an issue where i simply cant sprint. I'm not over-encumbered, it's just as if the shift key doesn't work, but it works fine in every other game and while typing. Also, the game crashes shortly after using the Armorsmithing bench. Not even WHILE using the bench, but shortly after upgrading stuff at it. Any advice?
  10. Hey everyone, I was wondering if there's a way to map the sprint action to a button other than L3. I'm using a cheap gamepad that heavily resembles a PS2 controller with x360ce and the dinput blocker because I hate the whole "Button 5," "Button 7" thing. I ask because pressing the L3 button repeatedly breaks the left stick after a while and makes it unbearably jerky, which effectively renders the controller unusable (mind you, this has nothing to do with the quality of the controller -- I find that the quality only really affects how long it takes for it to break, since the same thing eventually happened when I tried both the wireless 360 and Dualshock 4 controllers). I can't afford to buy a new controller every 2 weeks or so no matter how cheap, and I'm not a keyboard & mouse guy. lol Please tell me there is a way...
  11. After one of the recent updates in fallout 4, my character automatically sprints. I don't remember this happening in the past. This results in a lot of jerky movement. (This is not a video glitch problem.) The character starts to walk or run, lurches momentarily into and out of sprint mode. Even with plenty of AP. When I am moving the character, I want to just run or walk. Sprinting should only happen when I press the appropriate key. This happened after deleting and re-installing Fallout 4. Both 'vanilla' and with mods. Edit: It seems that after re-installing Fallout 4, the key bindings changed from what I had before. Caps Lock was set to AutoRun. Changing it to another key, seems to have fixed it. Of all the dumb things Bethesda has done, allowing key assignments to CapsLock, Numlock, Shift , ALT and CTRL is just a bad idea. Besides assigning multiple things to one key such as Bash/Grenade.
  12. Hey guys, I've never posted here before, and I checked pretty thoroughly in the forum for the answer to my question before posting it here. I recently purchased a black custom controller shell for my wireless xbox360 controller. After I installed it to my controller, I started up Skyrim to make sure all of the buttons worked and noticed I couldn't sprint. I'd have to repeatedly press the sprint button to get it to work and then it would go back to not working. So lets call this the black shell with board A. In response to this I switch the shell over to a second white wireless xbox 360 controller that I had just confirmed was working perfectly in Skyrim. After the switch I had the custom shell on the confirmed working controller board and again opened Skyrim to test and.... no dice. The sprint button won't register almost at all. The exact same symptoms. Now I had the black shell with (Confirmed working board B) I can't see why putting the custom shell on the controller would make it not function properly. I did check other issues that people have had with sprinting and I have made sure I was not crouching and put the key bindings to default, I even deleted the SkyrimPrefs.ini file and let Skyrim make a new one with no effect. I tried also to rebind the sprint to other buttons to rule out the shell not hitting the switch inside the controller. None of the other buttons would sprint either. Finally I retried the other controller (The White shell with board A) to see if that would work again and for some reason when the controller board is in the original white controller shell, it works perfectly. I am baffled as to the cause of this. Any help would be most appreciated. I hope I was clear in my explanation, let me know if I need to clarify anything.
  13. I was wondering if there was a way to get Project Nevada's sprint feature to work with dynavision? I assume the conflict is with dynavision's "hide hud" feature but even after I bound the hide hud key it still won't let me use sprint. Is this just something i'll have to deal with because DYNAVision is the only dof mod that seemed to work for me.

I always thought that the whirlwind sprint was a little underwhelming, so i installed 3-4 mods that make it awesome, but there was still lacking. so while i was Wuld-ing towards a flame atronatch while set on fire, I came to the conclusion. FLAMING WULD NA KEST! yussssssss! ehm. so what this mod is supposed to do, is that it envelops you in flames, and leaves a flaming trail on the land you traverse. also, it could set enemies you touch on fire. im just learning to mod, but im focusing on armors so i dont know shet. I think the same effect the flame atronatch's leaves when it moves can be used for the flame trail.

The problem is choosing ideal key binding for playing with a controller. I have an idea to resolve that and tremendously improve combat by smoothly integrating blocking into duel wielding combat without mucking up the controls. Of course this will require a talented programmer to design and implement. If someone makes this mod, I for one will be immensely grateful. As you know, the left shoulder button is used for sprinting, clicking the right analog stick crouches into stealth mode and clicking the left analog stick switches between 1st- and 3rd-person view. Here is a much better alternative: 1 - Set it so that clicking the left analog stick while pressing it forward sprints. Left-clicking and moving left, right or back should make you dodge in the respective direction. 2 - Clicking the right analog stick should make you crouch into stealth mode. ( No change. ) 3 - Clicking both analog sticks simultaneously should switch between 1st- and 3rd-person view. 4 - Re-assign the left shoulder button for blocking while dual wielding. I think this scheme makes perfect sense. The sprint command should logically be tied into the control for movement instead of having to rely on a separate button. This will make movement, dodging and sprinting more intuitive. And by freeing up the left-shoulder button for blocking, you can quickly move your finger to alternate between left-hand attacks and blocking while dual wielding. This will make combat much more intuitive and seamless. If someone actually makes this, I will be more grateful than words can adequately express.
  17. So the other day I experienced an unexpected crash when I entered Craterside Supply, sprinting at the door. After reloading my game, everything was ok, except for the sprint mod. It is still functioning, however it seems to start with a walk for a split second before running, then towards the end it stutters between sprinting and walking. I haven't tried to fix it myself yet since I am quite new to modding and am frankly afraid of breaking anything else. Any help would be much appreciated.   19. There are currently no mods that allow you to jump during the sprint animation, that's basically it. There are several mods that change the speed/height of the jumps. Mods that allow your character to jump automatically at the press of your jump key, taking you out of sprint into running mode to jump. This is not the same, the delay is as if you did it yourself, I don't see the point. Make it happen! Out of curiosity, how many times has this been asked for? Yes, it has been 2 and a half years since release, and we aren't able to sprint jump yet. Is it simply impossible (say it ain't so)? I wish to be able to sprint jump before the next title is released... + + = Sprint Jump! I worked hard editing those keys. @gamevsreality These type of mods are not a solution to inability to jump while sprinting, creating a sprint jump.
  20. Hello All, This is my first post. I am new to modding games, too, so pardon me if I am asking for something impossible or trivial. I want to request some simple (to my limited understanding) UI mods for SSE. A mod to replace the sprint toggle. I don't think I am alone in wishing for a return to Oldrim sprint controls. The current mandatory toggle adds too much delay time between sprinting and other movement actions, which is detrimental to gameplay and immersion. I've read there is an AutoHotkey script that can be used, but I thought this idea would make for a popular mod. A mod to add inventory weight in all crafting and sales menus - any time inventory weight is likely to change. I always enjoyed the weight limitation to inventory (seems realistic... maybe 300+lbs doesn't, but the concept is good), but it is annoying when you suddenly turn some skins into leather and you're weighed down, or you use up a lot of ingredients to make heavier potions. Let's just track inventory weight as we craft to avoid the sudden overburden. A mod to add ingredient/reagent item count when crafting. I'm thinking of house building - sure it's 1 iron per 10 nails, but I need 100 nails, do I have enough ore to also make some hinges? Better exit the workbench and search my inventory for iron :`( Let's please get a mod that has a format something like "<craft item> uses (<#of reagent1 needed>/<#of reagent1 available>) and (<#of reagent2 needed>/<#of reagent2 available>). That way if I've got my 12 iron ingots and want to make some nails and hinges, I can scroll through the recipes and see recipes listed such as "Nails: 1/12 iron ingots" so I know how to balance the division of how I use my last 12 iron ingots.What do you think? Are these feasible? Thanks
  21. I'm unable to sprint most of the time. I've tried a few things already. 1. CAPS LOCK. 2. Checking to make sure sprinting is still bound to the left bumper. 3. Unplugging and replugging keyboard/Xbox 360 controller. 4. Tried various stances like equipping weapons or spells. (Worked sometimes.) Any ideas? Thanks for reading.
  22. In the Farcry series you could execute a slide to transfer from a sprint directly in to sneaking. I haven't seen anything like it for Fallout and it would be pretty cool. I understand a mod like this would be a lot of work, so I hold no expectations at all for anyone to take up the mantle on this one. I'm a console gamer so I'm not even really requesting it for myself; I just thought it would be pretty rad and people would probably love it.
  23. Been playing modded NV for a while; apart from some small bugs not much has been breaking. Recently I've noticed that when using the Project Nevada sprint feature, the speed up effect doesn't seem to happen when I don't have a weapon drawn. When my weapon's out and I sprint, the weapon is holstered and I sprint ahead as normal. But, when I don't have a weapon out, even though one is equipped, the AP drain and screen shake happen, but there is nowhere near the speedup that I get when my weapon is out. It's an odd bug and fairly minor, but if anyone has any ideas I'd be glad. I've tried turning the feature off, saving, then rebooting FNV but that hasn't seemed to work.
  24. So me and my other affiliate are making a mod for Special Edition that adds in all kinds of new monsters. One of these monsters is an Imp, which needs to be flying like the previous renditions of it in past ES games. Seeing as adding in your own skeleton and animations is pretty much impossible; we tried to use the Chaurus Hunter, because it has wings that are animated. However the Imp is MUCH smaller, and therefor it screwed up the hitbox; specifically meaning that the player would have to aim below the Imp at the air beneath where the model was hovering in order to actually hit it. This obviously isn't okay to have... and we can't tamper with the skeleton. So, the only other creature in the game with wings, and can use magic ( as Imps do ) is the Vampire Lord. However, the Vampire Lord's idle animation and running animation does not have it's animated wings, only when it's sprinting does it's wings actually flap. So my question is; Is there a way to make the Vampire Lord use it's sprinting animation instead of it's neutral running animation and idle animation?
  25. It seems you can only sprint forward. As soon as I press left or right while sprinting, the sprint stops. Is there a way to make it possible to sprint forward-left and forward-right?
