Hello everyone! I've been playing around with modding for Fallout 4 VR lately, but have hit a wall with the weapons mods. After installing three packs of weapons to the game, I noticed a commen thing to all the packs. The grip on rifles and other two handed weapons are off. Instead of holding the grip, most weapons end up being held from the stock. And to be honest, kinda kills the feel of using them. So after looking around on google, I came over a lot posts about VR patches to the weapon packs, which supposedly would fix this problem. But after installing the patches, nothing changed. I'm at this point tired of reading through posts on the web that say the same, and instead I thought I'd ask you fine people if you know a fix for this. Or eventually what I might be doing wrong. Pistols and some sniper rifles work. Mostly AR's and rifles that are held wrong. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Here's a small list of the weapon packs and the patches I have on my list so far. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -DOOM Weapon Merger + DOOM Weapon Merge VR patch -Modern Sidearms -Modern Firearms -FO4VR_Submachinegun Position Fix -DPAssaultCarbine + Assault Carbine and Rifle VR Patch -See-Through-Scopes -Weapons of Fate -Improved Reflect Sight Reticle Visibility (VR) -Bullpup Bozar -Sig Sauer P127 -9mm Pistol Redux -The Widow Shotgun -ODSC - Optimized Debris Shell and Casing ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I appreciate any insight on this issue and look forward to hear what you guys have to say. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Edit: Took some photo's to show how it looks. I tried to line up the yellow line from the compass to show where my hand is holding the gun. First of some that work. And here are some that don't. It seems to be AR rifles that don't work. As shotguns, pistols and smg's seem fine. Special weapons as the gatlinggun also seem fine. Also noticed Winston would be holding the rifle strange at times. So it seems to effect the NPC's. One of the weapons even shot out from my crotch, and wasn't visible in the hand. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- EDIT 6.6.2018: I have yet to figure this problem out and have tried alot of things so far. Might need to do a clean install to potentially fix my problem.

I absolutely hate the look of the hunting rifle wood stocks, and the marksman stock makes it impractical for indoor use. My question is, cam someone either make a short marksman stock, or re texture for the short stock? If this already exists, please let me know.

Hey Guys, I just wanted to ask, if anyone is working on a Clothing/Armor Stock Conversion for one of the common CBBE Bodyslide presets? I used a Mod like this in Skyrim and I enjoyed it very much. I would do it myself, but I just dont get how Bodyslide and the Outfit Studio works :/ I am no stranger to Modding but as I said, it's very hard for me... And yes.. I watched the Tutorial Videos.. After all, I just hope somebody else uploads a Conversion... ^^

Traveling merchants carry their stock
fallingstar238 posted a topic in Fallout New Vegas's Mod Ideas
Just an idea. Traveling merchants should carry their stock either with the brahmin that they have tagging along, on their person or both. It bothers me when I kill them for loot that no one in their caravan actually carries what they sell. Where are they getting it from?! However, if this is done, then the security of the caravan should be beefed up considerably to discourage robbing them. I'm really just hoping for some kind of overhaul improving the benefits and increasing the risks of robbing a caravan. I have no idea if what I am requesting is possible, however, as I have no experience with creating mods. It could add quite an amount of extra fun for a guy like me who has completed the game multiple times. Much thanks if you decide to do this!- 5 replies

I'm just trying to make a simple button which will restock (enable) some ammo on a shelf, and ammo itself are activators. I have this script from the different kinds of ammo: scriptname shelfscript begin OnActivate if Getisid EHAmmo9mmP player.additem Ammo9mmP 12 disable endif ;--------------------------- elseif Getisid EHAmmo556mm player.additem Ammo556mmArmorPiercing 24 disable endif ;--------------------------- elseif Getisid EHAmmo44magnum player.additem Ammo44MagnumHollowPoint 24 disable endif end And then on the restock button i have this script: scriptname infiniteammorestock ref linkammo Begin Onactivate Set linkammo to Getlinkedref if linkammo.GetDisabled linkammo.enable else showmessage alreadystockedXXXX endif end I'm a beginner when it comes to scripting and I've written these from scratch. All is working good except that i have the button linked to the first ammo, so the script ONLY restocks one of the ammos.. I've tried using the linked ref and linked all the ammo togheter. But only the first one get's enabled.. Any tips? Thanks!
