Hey. I'm doing a set of tattoos for my character. Edit files using Photoshop and plugin for .dds files. Faced an annoying trifle, folks. These squares/noise/glitches. (English is not my native language, so I do not know what to call them correctly.) Please tell me which settings will give the best quality when saving a .dds file?

Hi Guys, Please could you take a moment to read my mod request for a Tattoo mod for a male protagonist in Fallout 4. Would it be at all possible for someone to please help me by creating a mod that gives the player character the Tattoos of former wrestler and current actor Duane "The Rock" Johnson? My 9 year old nephew is a huge fan of his and he recently saw a video on how to make the Rocks face in fallout 4 and he has asked me if I can help him do it. I would appreciate any advice (if this is something that a modding noob like myself can make) or better still would welcome someone's own work as I am a little worried in making something for it to turn out disappointingly crap. There are two main tattoos that the Rock has, the first is the more famous of the two and is just a Bulls Head with one eyebrow raised (the Rocks signature mannerism) and this is on the side of his right Bicep/shoulder. The second tattoo would be more complicated as I am sure, since it is a Samoan tribal tattoo that covers his left pectoral muscle and is a semi-sleeve around the bicep on his left arm. Whilst I know my nephew would prefer to have both Tattoo's, i am sure he would be stoked just to have the Bulls Head if the tribal part is too complicated. As I said before, I honestly have no idea how difficult this will be. For reference I have attached a close-up photo of each of the two designs, though as he is so famous there are many images that can be seen via a google image search as again I am not really sure what would be needed by the artist making the mod. I know that this is a long shot in asking for this mod, and I would like to take the opportunity to thank you for reading this post and again would appreciate any feedback on whether this mod would be possible and if so how long it would likely take to make. If it simply isn't something that can be done for any reason, I would also appreciate to be told so I can relay the message to my nephew though I am hoping that it can simply because this would score me a ton of Uncle-points lol. I'm making a mod involving a new type of enemy and want them to have unique multi-colored face paints. I thought the easiest way to accomplish this was to create a new race and apply the paints as "complexions" (this is how Mart's Mutant Mod did it back in the day) but: a) The new NPCs suddenly become bald, floating heads, in both the preview window and the edit window b) In the preview window, the new complexions do not show up at all, and in the edit window, the faces just turn black. My other thought is to try and apply the paints as tattoos (as the in-game face paints are all single-color), but I will have to remake 34 textures and figure out how to add them to the list of tattoos, which eludes me so far. So! Any advice? Is there a simpler way to do this? Clearly the race system is different in FO4 vs FO3, but it's hard to tell what's going on under the hood here.

I was hoping to request some small neck based scars/tattoos that looks like a set of gills on the player's neck, possibly unlocked by perking into aqua boy rank 1. As well as some possible "patch of scales" styled tattoos for the cheeks in the same regard, for use with characters that swim a lot, or have settlements near the ocean. Or if it would be possible, as body texture replacements for Vanilla and CBBE for use with unique player textures. Any chance we could make a tattoo overlay for the body instead of the face? Also any chance to make them glow?

Hey all, I was hoping to find a mod that would make my char's skin have a burned/scarred look to it, but all I'm finding are 'silky smooth skin' mods. I'm wanting something somewhat similar to a ghouls, but I want a humans meshes on it, not that saggy bony zombie face and wrinkled wrists they have going on. I'm making Wade Wilson (Deadpool) and I can get the face down pretty good using FO's vanilla 'blemishes and scars' in the 'extra's' section of character creation, but this look leaves my (bald) head and body with natural looking skin, and it looks pretty awful. For the select few that haven't read the comics or seen the movie,see the pics below. I'm not a modder but I've been thinking that it would be cool if a (or more) tattoo parlor was placed in Goodneighbour or something, instead of getting a body texture with tattoos for your character. So you would be able to choose from several different tattoos that can be placed all over the body. :) There would be an NPC that acts as the tattoo artist, and maybe even put in a feature that requires you to schedule/book your tattoo? Anyone working on that?

Hello, I've just gotten into the Creation Kit and I love it. Right now I'm making my previous character into an NPC so I can visit her in my other play-throughs. So far I've gotten these to work: SPF to save the facegen data Adding custom warpaint Creating an NPC using that data that can become a follower and spouse Placing the NPC into the world. Right now the problem is that this particular character uses body paint and a slightly modified face mesh from RaceMenu. I've searched for help on the body paint, but haven't arrived at anything helpful. Found a few threads about creating tattoos, but those were for warpaints. I'm thinking I might have to add custom textures and make the NPC use them, but I don't know where to start. Any experienced modders out there want to give me some tips? Note: I'm aware that FamiliarFaces does exactly what I want, but I want to be able to share my character NPC as well!

Hello and welcome to this thread topic! I would like to start off by saying thank you for taking the time to read this. I'm looking for someone who could possibly make these request into mods and I hope that others will like these ideas as well. These request are some things I thought that would look cool in Skyrim. The first request is a face-paint/Tattoo marking idea from Age of Wushu. Something I thought would be cool for the type of character I play as. The second request is three light armor type outfits that are lores in Age of Wushu. Lores are types of outfits that go over your gear in Age of Wushu, a cosmetic feature in-game. However I was hoping that someone could make them into light armors in-game. They are outfits I felt would look nice on characters that are Rogues, mages, archers, assassins, etc. The 3rd request is two unique weapon lores that are in Wushu as well. The 4th request being a cool pack that is a coffin in Age of Wushu, used by ruthless killers. The last request being a long ponytail hairstyle for males that has a cool hairpiece in it, the hair piece being two snakes. As someone who likes Age of Wushu and Skyrim I was hoping that someone could help bring Age of Wushu to Skyrim. I lack the skills to mod myself, so I was kind of hoping there was someone out there interested in possibly making these things. Thank you for your time and here are the request. It, like the other request is from Age of Wushu. The coffin is worn by members of the Blood Saber Sect, it is used to carry the blood of their fallen foes, and sharpen their blades. So I thought it would also be cool to see in Skyrim, as it could be used by Vampires, Daedric Worshipers, and even assassin type characters if they desired to! Hi everybody, using the RaceEditor and tattoo enhancements is already a nice thing to give your char the special appearance. I am wondering (and search did not reveal anything about that) if anybody ever made a simple tattoo pack containing numbers or letters, to attach a number tattoo (birth year, lucky number...) to your char? I've been seeing plenty of tattoo mods on the nexus but they all have one thing in common; they are run by accessing the race menu. Let's face it, when you go out and get a tattoo in real life you don't get an instant tat, you go to a tattoo shop to get it done! What if instead of accessing the race menu to place a tattoo from your favorite tat mod you went to somewhere in a major city to have it done? Why not add an animation while your tattoo artist adds your new skin art? And, hey while we are at it; how about making the tats related to your in game achievements? Like when you finish a major quest line a new tattoo design becomes unlocked at the shop.

Hello. I've seen lots of people who's got Tattoo's on their characters legs, while wearing stockings, without any sort of problem. Me, on the other hand, does have a problem. When facing a certain angle near a lightsource, i can see the tattoo's through the stockings, but when i move somewhere else, the tattoo becomes invisible. This only happens when i'm wearing stockings or other see-through clothing on my character's legs. Is there any way to fix this? Is it some sort of limit of detail or something, which i have to raise? Please, please help me find a solution, 'cause it's really annoying. Thank you in advance guys! Visible: Invisible:

There's a few mods out there that rely on the use of Racemenu to make them work, such as KJ's tattoos. I would like to see a mod that adds the outsiders mark, from dishonored, into Skyrim.

I've got .dds that work, when I replace current tattoo options. I'd like to create my own, however. How would one bring a custom tattoo into Skyrim? I'm not finding a place in the CK, so I'm presuming I need another program?

I want to go through several new hair style mods and whittle them down to a handful of my favorite styles, delete the rest to reduce the total size of the mods, then merge them all together in a mod that should be less taxing than any one of the larger mods they came from. I'd like to do this with warpaint and tattoos for face and body as well. All the youtube and forum tutorials seem to either cover the basics, or making stuff from scratch. I already know how to merge mods in TES5edit with Xedit, and are pretty comfortable with TES5edit itself. I have no experience with the creation kit, but could learn if that works better. My computer is strong enough to run vanilla Skyrim with all DLC and high res packs on ultra with no problems. However it's a few years old and wasn't the top of the line to begin with, so I have to balance number and size of mods with visual quality and stability. Having fewer and smaller mods really helps. Plus it'll be nice to only have to go through 50 or so options instead of hundreds.

*minor spolier* Since the apparently only facial reconstructive surgeon gets waxed not long after you meet him in Diamond City (or even before you get the chance to ask him), could someone add additional such capability elsewhere? Certainly the Railroad would have one and possibly the other two main factions. Thanks! (And in the meantime, is there a console command to bring up the same customization screen with tattoo options?)
