  1. So I am asking for a friend as she hasn't made an account yet but we were making mod. She basically was trying to make the dragons have combat taunts. The problem is, all the lines Mirmulnir is supposed to have such as "Krif krin. Pruzah" and his other combat lines that play only for that battle, despite being the generic dragon voice type seem to have been replaced with the random roars by Bethesda. Now I know for a fact those lines are/were present in the game, they were what originally inspired this mod's creations, without them the variety is severely limited. Are we just missing something obvious or did Bethesda remove them? Is there away to get them back, the voice reference tool even says what they are supposed to be. sorry if this is the wrong location for this sort of thing *EDIT* For clarification this is for Skyrim, if it wasn't obvious enough, and the files are there, just the data in them is random roars, instead of the line *EDIT* Was just informed that lines are actually missing in the vanilla Skyrim and were introduced by the unofficial patch, sorry we had researched it before but only came to the conclusion that the death scream was added by it
  2. Hello, i want to remove some certain enemy taunts from the game. As far as i know, the whole thing is just deleting proper lines from xml file, but i have no idea where and how to find them and how to recognize these are those sounds what i looking for. I will be very gratefull for some advices
  3. The taunt animations in DMC5 are amazing. Their practicality in combat is terrible. Before you nail me to a cross, please, think about how when you initiate the taunt, you're still losing style meter since you're not landing any attacks, then when the taunt completes, the meter you gain back fills up the amount you lost while taunting at absolute best. In my eyes that's terrible, that's why I air taunt every time, because it comes out quickly, and gives you a decent amount of style meter without losing very much at all in the process (plus it's safer in the air). In my eyes, taunting was at its best in DMC3 and 4, for different reasons: 3: you would still lose meter while initiating the taunt, but the animations tended to be quick, and the meter you gained back was almost an entire bar, so it was worth doing this a lot. 4: the best example to me, as soon as you initiate the taunt, you start gaining meter, albeit slowly. When you reach a "sweet spot" you gain a LOT of meter immediately. Certain animations continue to play out past the sweet spot and let you gain a little bit more before the character returns to their idle position. Animations tended to get longer with each ranking, but the meter gain for the sweet spot tended to push you right into the next letter grade once you hit it. So, the mod I'm requesting someone make is: make ground taunts in DMC5 behave like they do in previous games, either example I provided. I'd honestly prefer 4's mechanics, as I think that suits the longer taunting animations shown in 5. BUT the overall point is that I want there to be more initiative to use these animations in a fight and not feel like I'm sacrificing optimization.
  4. Anytime a bow (and sometimes shout) is used, it causes a throw voice to sound, including "Hey, cheese brain!" and "Hey, skeever butt!" IT'S DRIVING ME MAD. Anyone have a clue to what mod may cause it? Possible culprits: Auto Unequip Ammo - Auto Unequip Ammo v5_0 Utilities Improved Combat Sounds - Improved Combat Sounds V2 2 T3nd0s Skyrim Redone I have around 140 mods, so it could be almost anything. Except probs not CoT. Doubt it's that. Thanks, guys!
  5. No I'm not asking for anything flashy as hell here, I'm just curious about the nonverbal taunts that are in vanilla that the npc's use in combat. Surely these can be transferred back on to the player? There are few things more satisfying than taunting an enemy and letting them get a few hits in, even if it has no actual effect on the game mechanics because "ha, killed you anyway idiot". Level of possibility on a 1 to 10 scale? I work with numbers mods now (think: XKCD), not this kind of stuff. (I also admittedly keep all of those mods to myself since I only ever finish them to be working and not "feature complete").
  6. Hello, I have a custom race that mirrors the Khajiit race, however NPC's don't recognize this, (no Khajiit taunts, ect... ) How can I get this race to be in the same "group" or "list" that the Khajiit race is apart of, to get their specific dialogue? I can't seem to find anything in the CK that would pertain to race-specific NPC dialogue. Any pointers would be greatly appreciated! Thanks, -Chance
  7. I am hoping someone could make a mod that allows the Player to execute taunts... Whether it be purely cosmetic, or allow the player to attract aggro somehow, it doesn't matter to me. My thoughts consist of various animations, most prevalent of which would be the shield-bashing animation in which bandits strike their shield with their weapons... Of course, I'd also love to see some of the various Draugr taunts, such as the one where they raise their weapon and then point it forward, as if signaling a charge. I've googled this quite a bit, and it seems a good plenty of folks want this.. but none exist. I'd imagine making a shout (that doesn't actually shout anything) much like a Power that, when used, activates one of the however-many animations for a taunt. I'd give it a crack myself, but... Well, I kind of value not-breaking everything. Thanks for your time and consideration, I hope this gets done!
  8. I have placed two NPC's in a small arena to fight each other, They keep taunting each other but I want to them to stay quiet during combat. Anybody know how I could do that?
