Ok. So I've searched this up on google quite a bit and can't find anything to solve the issue. Problem is that I have an essential who is completely trapped behind a barrier. He's essential to a quest and so I tcl'ed to talk to him and he told me to rendevous to some location. But he never shows and always stays behind that door with the force field. He can't move. I tried getting his ref ID and Base ID. I used prid [iD] then moveto player. Nothing is working so far. tl;dr How do I move someone from a bugged location to a non bugged location where they aren't trapped? if it helps in the geck he is non killable

Hi Need help with scripting. Tried a few tutorials but not getting far. My mod requires a terminal with sub-menus pointing to different OWNED settlements. On selecting a settlement the player must be teleported to the travel marker in that settlement. Pretty sure I have the Papyrus Fragment right: Game.GetPlayer().MoveTo(SanctuaryTravelMarker) I have the property set up as an ObjectReference pointing to the SanctuaryExt cell and referencing SanctuaryTravelMarker. I have no idea if this part is correct, but when compiling i get the following report: Papyrus Compiler Version 2.8.0.4 for Fallout 4 Copyright © ZeniMax Media. All rights reserved. Starting 1 compile threads for 1 files... Compiling "Fragments:Terminals:TERM_THBCollectorBaseTermina_04001296"... C:\Users\tjaar\AppData\Local\Temp\PapyrusTemp\Fragments\Terminals\TERM_THBCollectorBaseTermina_04001296.psc(7,24): variable SanctuaryLocationCenterMarker is undefined No output generated for Fragments:Terminals:TERM_THBCollectorBaseTermina_04001296, compilation failed. Batch compile of 1 files finished. 0 succeeded, 1 failed. Failed on Fragments:Terminals:TERM_THBCollectorBaseTermina_04001296 Now, I'm not a scripter. I have no clue how to define the variable or even if the property is wrong and I'm heading in completely the wrong way. I'm basically trying to infer how it should be done by watching YouTube tutorials that more often than not do "almost the same, but not quite" what I need it to do. I also need help with a script that can be attached to a static object that will move (teleport) the player and companion (if present) to specific cell (the load door marker in the cell) on activation (specifically a one-off craftable trapdoor that I have already created and loaded into the game through the workshop). Please help! I am happy to give credit to anyone willing to assist with these two issues.

I want to create a player home with a ring or spell that will teleport you there when you use it. I could make a local script and attach it to the ring, this won't be very difficult to do but then the PC will continiously have an extra active script when carrying the ring around. This seems like a bad idea perfomance wise but perhaps this isn't much of an issue anymore in 2022? I figured it would be easier to add a spell to the PC and have the script activate when you cast the spell but I don't know if that's possible without MWSE. Should I create the ring with the local script or can I make a spell?

Disclaimer: I am really, really clueless when It comes to scripting. So you might have to talk slowly. Very sorry for being a nusiance. ^^; I've made a custom follower, and have successfully used the example script from the creationkit.com to teleport him from his holding cell to myself. Works a charm - shiny visuals and all. What I want to do now is - upon his death - teleport his corpse back to his holding cell, and then resurrect him with his current inventory intact, so that he may be summoned again along with anything I might have given him to carry. I could just mark him as essential, or some such.... but that wouldn't be any fun. I saw this basic , and it seems pretty simple. It could be made to work with an NPC, not the player right? And I'm supposing I could just make a markerREF back in his cell for him to teleport to? But how do I make the event trigger on his death, and then resurrect him only after he has teleported? It seems like it should be pretty simple, but I am quite hopeless at scripting. I followed the Creation Kit tutorials, but...... didn't learn much from them. Sadly. Any help would be much appreciated. Edit: Huh. Misspelled the topic. My life.... OTL
