  1. make of use for npc / villagers / companions fast travel player made road signs /fast travel. Auto craft mats for buildings /gear if needed (if they unlocked ) Replace own gear to best one unlocked (craft) Replace or fix gear if broken Better response to treat ,,, return to base if its raided ,help each other. treat /agro range if they have bow etc !
  2. There's a locked door in the "neon flats" and I really think someone needs to open it... Because the beauty of Bethesda games is never knowing what adventure can hide behind a door. "I think that originally the mod had to be structured differently, that is, the events all took place in that building where the character found himself in a sort of loop in going up and get off." "20 Leagues Under the Sea" has already been almost 100% restored, but the lore is missing and the access is also not the most lore friendly. The purpose of Vault 120 was to create an elite government/society that would control the world from the bottom of the sea. She would have moved through "submarine" subways which were metaphorically and literally the only physical contact with the outside world. We can therefore conclude that in addition to the institute, many other groups have tried to isolate themselves and create their own ideological and social paradises. The Vault Dweller will now be able to use Vault 120 as a point from which to travel to various stations (with Subway Tokens) or build them! (connecting Vault 88, Vault 101, a stop on the Nuka World monorail, or even a secondary access to Nuka World!) By unlocking it in story progression and using resources. Honestly, I find Goodneighbor the cemetery of cut content, the Neon Flats is located not far from the Third Rail, I think that the third rail has been greatly resized, there are good mods to liven it up but the best thing is to make Magnolia a unique settler that increases the happiness and abandon that bare and forgotten country, difficult and boring to reach it in survival. In conclusion I think that unlocking access for fast travel to Goodneighbor is the most balanced position, as well as creating accesses that connect Noir penthouse and other points notoriously "surrounded" by enemies safely and quickly. (The station could also be connected to Salem and Cabot's house to imply that all families and groups were included in the vault 120 project.)
  3. Idea for an alternative to dying: How about, instead of actually dying, you travel back in time, to a few seconds before death, and watch the combat. I envision this to be a spell, or power, that you cast during, or before, combat and when you are on low life (1-5 HP) the spell is activated. You are then teleported through space and time to a location just off to the side, and about 10 seconds before, so you can watch as your previous self is killed. It sounds over powered, but a limiting factor could be an increasing, and permanent cost, to health, stamina, magicka, and carry capacity, so that it can only be used a limited number of times before you become too frail to enter combat, or even wear anything more than clothing and carry a loaf of bread and an apple. I think the name of the spell/power should probably be something like Phoenix Power, or Power of the Phoenix, or some other such name.
  4. I was recently going through a play through and realized that while there are a lot of carriage mods there aren't that many "true" carriage alternatives. What I'm looking for is fairly simple mod wise, not so much lore wise. Npcs that reside over a portal, you pay them to go to a certain destination, walk into the portal/on the magical circle, get teleported. Maybe one mage/portal per major town, etc. I'm also looking for simply mods that teleport you through dialogue without having to interact with the carriage at all. I had this from some mod, I don't know which and could never find it again afterwards.
  5. Looking for an old mod I used to use. It gave you the chance to buy a ship that could either fast travel to (and dock/anchor at) different ports, or be sailed/controlled by the player in real time. It even came with a deployable dinghy. It was really, really good. A little glitchy with the mini map tracking if I remember, and might have been something about the ship sailing out from under you in autopilot if you weren't careful. But otherwise really solid modding. Does anybody have a copy of that they could upload or remember what it was called? Thanks in advance.
  6. I think that a TARDIS mod would be an obvious, but awesome mod for Starfield! Starfield even makes it seem like it's supposed to be in the game! Immersion wouldn't even be a big problem because you can go to different planets already! Being able to travel to different planets by piloting the TARDIS would be INCREDIBLE! Time travel is difficult to pull off in a game, so you wouldn't even need to worry about that (but if you wanted to, you could make it so that you can reset the flag that says you haven't been to a location before/It's your first time there). It could also be a really cool home too! I think this would be an awesome mod if done right! please consider this idea!
  7. When you land at an location you already visited (for example Cydonia) the game puts you in front of the city and outside the ship. Would be nice if you could at least chose if you want that. I kinda like it to leave the ship on my own beacuse of immersion. But I know that not everyone would like that.
  8. As the title suggests, when ever I fast travel or take a carriage now, I get stuck in the loading screen and have to kill the game. Prior to killing Alduin, I could fast travel EVERYWHERE and only see the load screen for a few seconds before resuming the game. AFTER killing Alduin and returning to the Throat Of The World, I can maybe fast travel one time, to say... Whiterun, and then the next... infinite load screen. Windows Task Manager says the program isn't responding at that point. I did try something that was suggested in a vid back in 2013 which was to set the time scale to 20 when this problem occurs and it SORT of fixed the problem, but not entirely. Currently I received the Mythic Dawn Museum invitation, and had not been to Dawnstar yet. When I fast travel to Ustengrav which is my closest marker to Dawnstar, I get the forever loading screen. I can FT to SOME other places but not all. It did this to me on a previous play through, but only after near completing the Dawnguard DLC. I loved the swing mechanics of spiderman 2, you could swing as high as you wanted, you'd swing back when momentum was lost, you can swing with each arm for each trigger instead of just one web at a time, you could shoot 2 webs at 2 buildings and hang from there, or when on the ground, walk backwards and slingshot yourself forward. That's the swing mechanics i want to request for this game. Possibly port it?   10. My kid just pronounced Skyrim this way and now I'm struck by the brillance of this idea, lol. I'm kinda surprised it hasn't been done yet (that I know of). Can you picture cross country skiing across the Pale? Skii runs down the snow capped peaks with epic (annnd maybe deadly) jumps? Seems like Skyrim's snowy, mountainous environments are just asking for some Skii functionality. Such a mod would need models and textures for the skiis and poles, and animations, and possibly some way to trigger increased speed down slopes? I have no idea really and am not super dedicated to making it happen, but I thought it was a cool idea anyways, figured some people might get a kick out of it.

I am not a mod maker, just a user, but if I knew how, I would definitely make a mod where Geralt could hop in a rowboat and paddle up and down the Pontar, slipping under all those bridges that stop the sailboats. I've seen NPC's rowing around, so the animations are there. What's needed is to figure out how to make the rowboat a vehicle, and add new or convert existing rowboats into usable conveyances. Heh, and then, how to mount and dismount... If I manage to live another sixty years, I may take this up, but don't hold your breath... :tongue:
  12. Hi, I was wondering if it was possible to use the "event on the road" feature to create a mod that would allow you to stop traveling at some point when using the fast traveling. I saw a mod that make you able to fast travel anywhere, this is not what i mean because that break the immersion and the roleplay. Allowing you to stop when you want it when fast traveling seems normal and still roleplay to me (like when a traveler hail you for something or when you are attacked by bandits who break your fast traveling), because you are actually passing by the game preprogramed path, so why won't you be able to stop walking if you want it ? (I send a picture to illustrate my request) I don't know how to mod, this could be simple but i have no idea... So if a modder knows how to do and would like this same feature, please go on !   14. So we see trains and tracks all over the Commonwealth. I think it'd be cool if we could get a mod that allowed us to not only fix the train tracks, and clean up the cars, but actually have a train running through the common wealth. A sort of immersive fast travel system that requires us to build and fix up the trains.

  16. I am looking for a mod to enable custom destination markers on discovered locations, just as it is in Fallout 4 Survival. I am using Frostfall, and have disabled fast travel, but find it really annoying when I head back to my hearthfire based player home to be stumbling around in circles trying to find it without opening the world map every ten seconds. My sense of direction is terrible, I might add. Please somebody help me out with this!
  17. So I'm putting this question out to modders who might have come across a fast travel script when browsing the game files or modders with previous experience with the CK. I'm looking into adding an extra function to the fast travel script that triggers when you click on a map marker from the pipboy and fast travel to the marker. I've got to imagine there is some script somewhere that passes the location to some kind of fast travel function that moves the player there. I'm trying to locate some such function so that I can add something to it. Thus far the only reference I've found to a fast travel function has been in Game.psc and it looks more like a single line console command with no code to go with it. I've got to think this is hidden somewhere in a poorly named file. If you've any idea where I might find this, or know of some alternative I'd love to know.
  18. I recently started the Azura's Star quest and have gotten to the part that requires me to travel to Ilinalta's Deep. The problem I have ran into is that every time I travel there my game crashes. Fast traveling directly causes a crash during the loading screen. When I travel near by, as soon as I walk within range of Ilinalta's Deep my game crashes to desktop. Someone please help, I've been disabling mods right and left and can't seem to fix it. Immersive Fast Taxi Travel working title -reminder obligatory image of mod goes here- Description Taxi cabs (ride-able Caravans whose cargo are people instead of merchandise, they will also vendor food items and ammo) take you to settlements that have Taxi stands, but following the story you will unlock the ability to travel to any map marker. There will be two ways of traveling, first way of traveling will be to ride in the cab and watch the scenery go by in real time, second option is instantly like regular fast travel. You can even talk to them or ask them to tell you stories to pass the time. The first two places that will have Taxi stands are Bunker Hill, and out side Diamond City. There will be quests, a main story quest, and radiant quests where you can be a body guard for the Taxi cabs. There will also be random encounters while traveling by/with Taxi's, with both types of Travel (Slow and instant). There will be different types of cabs.(One pulled by a brahmin, one pulled by a robot, one pulled by a death claw, one pulled by some rad stags for a Christmas theme, one carried by gen 1 synths, ect. ect.) Probably more to come too. I'm calling it Immersive Fast Taxi Travel (IFTT), because when I first thought it up I was just calling it Immersive Fast Travel (IFT), then I found out afterward there is already a mod called this. I might call it something else when there is enough to release (At least 1 working Taxi cab) Also I'm aware of a mod that summons a vertibird to pick you up and travel's to where you want to go, which just means I don't need to make one a cab, but I still might anyway. Planned Features/Progress so far A Story / unfinished Taxi Stands for settlements / unmade Travel both slow and instant / got slow, trying to figure out instant...   20. Well, since I can't find the answer to my problem anywhere online, I thought I'd give making a post a try. Anyways, I've recently come across a problem where whenever I try to fast travel my game crashes to desktop. It began after I reinstalled Cloaks of Skyrim and Complete Crafting Overhaul in order to install the compatibility patch for them to work together. I've since reverted my mods back to the way they were, re-sorted my load order with LOOT, and cleaned my save file. I should also note that it's only when I fast travel that the CTD occurs, other load screens and using coc to get around don't cause me to crash. Papyrus logs haven't helped much, either, as there's no pattern in the scripts being run at the end when it crashes. I'd very much appreciate any advice anyone's willing to provide on the situation.   21. Considering that there is a mod that allows you to send your follower wandering randomly around Skyrim, I'd assume this to be a simple task and yet I can't find a mod like this anywhere. What I'm looking for is the option of commanding followers to leave the players side and go to a specific hold (or even some other map marked location) like Whiterun or Solitude to wait. I'd strongly prefer that they would actually travel there by feet or by horse rather than be teleported or moved in some other unimmersive way. I most often prefer to wander around Skyrim alone rather than with companions. Even with Better Stealth AI for Followers, being stealthy is still more fun and more rewarding without followers. They can still be of use to me in other ways especially in quests so I don't want to just rule them out. In the vanilla game my only option is to either leave followers to wait wherever we are before I take my own leave to wander around Skyrim or dismiss them in which case they return to wherever I originally recruited them. In both cases I'll have to return to them when I need their help again and then go with my follower to wherever I was headed in the questline. What I would like to do instead is tell my follower to go straight to the location of my choosing ahead of me and wait there. For example if I was in Whiterun and had a quest in Solitude, I could tell my follower to go to Solitude and wait there. Then I could take whatever route I like, visit whichever locations I want on the way there and spend as much time going there as I would like without a follower breathing on my neck. When I would finally arrive to Solitude, my follower would be there waiting. Notes: - I think it would be most immersive, if you could send a follower to any of the holds even before visiting them yourself, as their locations are common knowledge. Some other locations would be useful as options too, such as Hearthfire homesteads, but only once their locations have been discovered. - It would be a big plus if the execution of this mod was done immersively. Instead of just standing at the gates of a hold, the follower could wait in an inn for example. (I use Lively Followers, which should take care of the rest.) - It would be a big plus, if the followers rode to their given destination. I'd prefer that this option wasn't left for mods like Convenient Horses, while it would be great if it was executed in a similar way. (in convenient horses, the followers can summon a horse to ride and the horses disappear again when the follower dismounts) - Perhaps a follower horse could spawn in the holds stable whenever the follower is given leave to another hold and disappear when the follower arrives to their destination. In that way the appearing and disappearing of the horse wouldn't have to be so obvious and immersion breaking either, unless you're staring at the stables while it happens. - This mod could even serve as a lighter alternative to mods that enable followers to ride horses giving instead the compromise of letting followers ride independently to a single given destination while still not making it possible for followers to follow you on horseback.
  22. Let me start with saying sorry if there's a topic/request already covering this bit, did search the forum without result, surprisingly. But as I know nothing about programming etc. I'll just throw a request of a new mod I think the game's in dire need of (at least for 1st timers like me) An improved travel system, without the teleportation crystals. That either works for all landmarks or just the "rift stones"(can't remember what they're called). Giving the player full availbility to teleportation crystals and unlimited ferry thingys from the beginning might also be a solution. Because right now, I'm "stuck". Or more like not willing to spend another 30 minutes just running to get another quest at the part I just were.
  23. Was playing D&D recently with some friends and we acquired a carriage pulled by an elephant. I figured it would be cool to have some sort of Skyrim equivalent to use for you and your followers. Plain and simple my request is to have a carriage pulled by a Mammoth that I can load my followers into and use to traverse the land of Skyrim. The Picture I attached is good reference to at least what we picture it as.
  24. I used to be an adventurer like you... Where? there is no single adventurer! how about random adventurer encounters? Im not asking especifically for them to do side quests that you can do but it'd be a nice touch. All I ask for is for adventurers like in FO 3 and NV where you could trade or battle them.
  25. I thought these were from the wearable lanterns mod, but I uninstalled it and even deleted it. I also reinstalled it, uninstalled it, and deleted it again. They're still there. I mostly see them on guards at night. Are they maybe from a different mod..? I just want them out of my game. They're worn on their belts like the wearable lanterns mod, and have no sell value. Anybody know how I can get rid of them?
