How do I update a plugin without overwriting it completely using SSEEdit? I tried to rename the second plugin, but the program does not show conflicts.

I think my favorite mod finally broke(or at least stopped working with other UI mods). How do I go about updating it to work with 1.6? For reference, it's the Flower Decorative UI. I tried looking into it, and coding is not something that comes easy to me. I can tell making the Format 2.0.0 isn't going to cut it, I tried. Thanks in advance.

I just figured out Vortex. Before I had to get mods via the game menu's own mod section. Much more limited. Well, in-game menu is how I downloaded Inigo. And regardless if my character gets married, family, whatever, Inigo is most important game character. Accidentally deleting our history would be like a corruptfile premature end to my first playthru :ohdear: I'm about 40% thru. Now I'm using Nexus mods. Looks like there are some Inigo patches here plus follower-hospitality mods which won't install because I'm "missing" the Inigo mod (because Vortex-wise, I am). Can I now download Inigo here? Would that restart him, erasing everything he + my first character + Mr. D have been thru? Noooooooooo, never! It'd be just like MovieSpoiler's ending. If mod source alignment means erasing the journey with him, I'll rather just play with little hospitality towards my current, limited Inigo  Anyone been thru modsource change situations like this? Or have an idea what's likely?

I did a search and was unable to locate my answer (it is possible it is buried behind pages of posts) so I am going to ask here. When updating mods and using Nexus Mod Manger, I have noticed that the updated mod is simply installed along with the older version of the mod. Is there a way to have the mod simply update and overwrite the existing install or uninstall and reinstall without going through the extra clicks and potential loss of settings for that mod? Just curious and thanks in advance.

I installed C5Kev's Sexy Nordic Armor CBBE SE for my follower but armor was invisible after crafting. Then I installed COCO's Lacebody to cover nudity and got both armor and lingerie ATST...very cool! But then I installed Nordic Carved Bikini CBBE HDT Conversion mod to see if I could make C5Kev's a replacer. Didn't go well...don't remember if I crashed or couldn't load. Anyway, I uninstalled all three mods and now my game saves won't load at all. Loot was telling me I was missing patches, so I d'led/installed the patches. SKSE was out of date and I updated that only to find my game wouldn't start at all! I reverted back to old one and game now starts up to save load then CTD. Now, I've done so many changes to my game that I don't know if I've made it better or worse - it still won't load a save. FI, after the loading option, there are loading screens 'til I hear the familiar hissing sound of my save being accessed, then crash! I've tried earlier saves and the same thing. Now, I don't have a clue what the problem is. Anyone else have a suggestion? BTW...I can start a new game but can't use any of my existing saves. WryeBash shows them as orange 'cause of recent uninstall...but all the masters are present. OTHER THINGS I'VE DONE: I fixed all LOOT's objections.....NO CHANGE I updated FNIS generator.....NO CHANGE I updated SKSE64.....CRASH ON START I checked integrity of game cache.....14 missing files.....RE-INSTALLED - NO CHANGE I re-cleaned DLC's & others w/ SSEEdit.....NO CHANGE I updated various important mods.....NO CHANGE Manually removed remnants of uninstalled C5Kev's & Nordic Armour files Vortex didn't remove.....NO CHANGE Gave up and came here
