I find FNV SPECIAL system the most right and interesting among all the role playing systems I met in the games. But some things bother me. One of them (the other is here) is that Perception does not affect ranged weapon accuracy in VATS. The idea is to add VATS accuracy bonus for each point of Perception above 5. Something like this: with Perception 6/7/8/9/10 player receives same accuracy values at distance from the target that is 5/10/15/20/25% greater (5% for each point above 5). Meaning that player may receive higher accuracy values at the same distance if his Perception is raised above 5.

There are mods to recolor every part of the HUD and V.A.T.S. to match any Pip-boy recolors, but I've yet to find one that allows me to change the V.A.N.S. perk trail color. Is this impossible without the GECK? I would think it would be a simple recolor but I don't know skrit about modding Fallout. Is the trail color controlled by some yet unlocked value that will come at a later date? My clean white HUD and I are growing weary of following a long fart trail to our objectives. And speaking of fart trails, I believe this wont be possible without the GECK, but I'd love a dialogue option for Dogmeat to ask him to lead me to my next quest objective. After all, he was here before you right? Well no not technically, but he knows the new world better than you. At least a little ;P It shouldn't be too difficult once the tools are available, at least from what I understand about the engine. NPC's lead you to quest locations under certain locations so it's a behavior native to the engine correct?

It's really annoying using VATS if you have multiple enemies and have a bunch of chickens or other non-hostile's around. Switching between targets forces you to cycle through all of the irrelevant people and animals in the vicinity which is particularly annoying when you are being shot at! Is there any mod which affects targeting to only cycle through actual hostiles? Searching Nexus I did find a full-stop VATS mod (Classic V.A.T.S.) and that sort of avoids that issue but that's it. Thanks!

First of all, I'd like to apologize if this has been covered already. I'm new to both the Nexus Forums and modding in general, so please forgive the lowly newb if this is something that is common knowledge. I'm currently using an XBox 360 controller on my first FWE playthrough (amazing changes, by the way, in case anyone reading this contributed to that project) and XPadder in order to utilize the d-pad for hotkeyable features. The problem is there are so many awesome hotkeyable features offered by FWE and, with the XBox Controller option enabled, I can't clear button assignments. The d-pad is my only option. I love the way that the XBox controller option essentially emulates everything that was great about playing on my 360, but if there were a way to disable V.A.T.S. so that pressing the right bumper did nothing, that would free up at least one button to assign via XPadder. Is there a mod available that does this, or perhaps a line of code I might be able to alter via Notepad? Any assistance would be appreciated. -10/6

Hey everyone, It recently dawned on me that I've yet to come across a certain feature in Fallout 3 through 4, even with the mods. The first two Fallout games gave you the ability to aim at an enemy's groin and eyes, which was both fun and useful. With how it's all 3D models now, it'd be awesome to be able to blow someone's balls off with a shotgun from point blank; that, or smoke them in the eyes with a nail bat. Doing those with bloody mess would make one hell of a good show on a critical hit cam. Seriously, someone needs to get on this. I will throw money at them, as I'm unfortunately not a modder.

Hey, i know a lot of people have been posting mod ideas, but most all say the same thing; drivable vehicles, better textures, better UI. I was thinking it would be cool if there were more mini games, not like the ones you can play on your pip boy but in the actual gameplay. Like instead of the DK pip boy rip off it would be cool if your character that you control was on a giant course having to jumb barrells and if you were able to grab the floating Fat Man gun you could blow up the barrels (could be anything) and kill the deathclaw throwing the barrels. How awseome would it be if you could have a horde mode built into this. You set up your base, turrets, and all of your traps. Then waves of enemys come and attack you (this one seams very doable). Then it would be cool if my friend could jump into my game as my follower. It wouldnt be PVP, nor could they hurt civilians, but to take down stronger apponents it would be nice to have somone that could use cover. Even better if you could have a horde mode where your friend can jump in as a lan coop. Also, it seems that the VATS system has been weakened compared to fallout 3 and guns have become more accurate when aiming down sites, so i think there should be some serious balancing with the accuracy of VATS compared to sights. Also, after seeing a mod that lets you grow plants it would be cool if the game could let you run a farm like farmville (it doesnt have to be a farm, it could be your normal home with your familiy, or anything that may put you in a situation where people are counting on you for survival), yet have to defend your farm from enemys, and be able to send members in caravans to collect supplies. It would give you the choice to go with your caravan and protect it or stay home and protect the farm. It would be cool to see if anyone feels the same way or has any other ideas not UI or graphic based.

Please someone make normal speed reload in V.A.T.S. I just dont like how game cheats and it does in V.A.T.S. In that mode PC can shoot and aim longer than reload his weapon and this reload in this mode is ridiculously fast. It is immersion breaking for gun nut :) Just look at AP bar how it shows shoot+aim as long red line and for reload it is VERY silly short! I dont know but it is like 1/5 of aim and shoot time. COME ON! bethesda are you s... I mean are you serious?! Developers should really start to give option to a player before he starts the game. Option to chose between casual player and true gamer so this kind of dumb thing would be implemented for casual mode and in true gamer mode everything will be more into believability and realism. I cannot stand such silly game cheats for player :/ I feel very offended as a gamer :D
