  1. So here is the thing When I am building on my settlements, I want it to feel as alive as I can make it. What bothers me a bit is that Bethesda only includes 6 types of vendors avalable in settlements, while leaving other specialized traders either roaming the commonwealth or over at Diamond city. Because of that I can only make a few stores avalable at my settlements. What if I want someone in my settlement who only sells power armor parts, or clothing and drinks from Nuka-World? And why is not anyone willing to sell their brahmin? I would make this mod myself, but I don't have time to do so, or any experience with the cration kit at all. That is why I want someone to make a mod that adds more vendors to your game, both in settlements and elsewhere. They could use the vanilla store counters, have their own unique counters and/or use a floor mat as a marker. It would really help making the game feel more alive, and let players have more creative freedom over what type of stores they want in their settlement. So here is a couple of ideas I have for new merchants around the Commonwealth/Island/Theme park New settlement vendors: Butcher (sells Meat)Fisher (sells fish and mirelurk meat) [Can be both DLC and vanilla]Trash vendor (sells junk and components)Junkie (sells addictive chems, such as jet, psycho and buffout)Heavy armorer (sells power armor)Heavy weapons merchant (sells heavy weapons and ammo)Vault merchant (sells pre-war items, vault security armor and other things you would usually find in a vault)Combattant (sells melee weapons)Vim vendor [DLC Far Harbor] (sells Vim, obviously)Nuka-Cola Collector [DLC Nuka-World] (sells Nuka-Cola related products, anything from drinks to clothes)New traveling/encountered merchants: Mac, and his dog Beth (a traveling super mutant & mutant hound who sells drinks, milk included)A gunner merchant (sells military weaponry and armor)Merchants who sells Brahmin, that can be sendt to a settlement and produse 5 food each. 1 per settlementA evicted vault dweller (sells weapons, vault security armor and other items)[DLC Far Harbor] A traveling diciple of Atom who sells weapons "spawned" by Atom himself (sells radium rifles, gamma guns, mini nukes and other radioactive-related things. Can sell weapons with the Irradiated effect)[DLC Nuka-World] a retired raider who used to work for Colter (sells raider themed items)Of course these are just some of the ideas I have in my head. Feel free to add your own vendors/merchants to this aswell. I know there are a few mods that add something simmilar to this, but I think having more vendors avalable would make settlements come more alive then ever!

So with D D productions leaving mods by the looks of it I have an issue He done a settlement budget mod so you could build like crazy... now it seems i can delete the whole of the vault-tec workshop settlement but it still seems to be half full (could be because of a scrapping mod) but I would like for someone to make it so the budget is infinite if possible?
  3. Let me envisage this for you: So, basically if we could create a snap point for all beds that would be amazing! The bottom legs of beds would snap to the top railing of already placed beds. No more modded, buggy bunk beds where only one settler sleeps in the bed. Regards, Vicente
  4. There have been many changes to the storyline and I have found a modder who might be bring this idea to life, also I meant Vault 4 for Fourth Reich. They are very similar to the Enclave, except heavy gene manipulation and all the vault dwellers are Aryan.

I know this seems like something simple but Its something I always wondered why it wasn't added with Vault-Tec Workshop Anyways My Idea is a paint job for automatons so they fit in with vault 88's colors(Canada eh!) Maybe like a mat blue with the vault-tec logo on the side, kinda like this but with vault tecs colors instead of the factions If anybody makes this ill be sure to endorse it Thanks. Colson11
  6. I am looking for a mod were the the Vault-Tec building pieces transmit power, so I don't have wires/conduit running all over my Vault. It makes since considering that most of the pieces already have conduits running along the floor as is.
  7. Hey, I'm not too adept with modding and while doing a playthrough of Fallout 3 in Tale of Two Wastelands I thought of a good item that someone may want to make. A navy blue beret with the Vault-Tec logo on it with the same stats as the 1st Recon Beret If someone could make one I would appreciate it a lot, Thanks

Im currently working on creating multiple "new" vaults throughout the mojave, and i've been struggling with finding the ambient Vault sound (The throbbing, pulsing, "it's alive" background sound"). I've pulled apart the sounds.bsa file and have listened to every single file. I can't find it! Does anyone know where it's located? is it multiple wav files?
  9. I think Vault-Tec lab coats should look more like in Fallout 3. Instead of white shirt and gray trousers/skirt, Dr. Forsythe and Rachel would be wearing vault suits under white coats.   10. So after sinking countless hours and evenings after work I finally had my vault about done and ready for interior decorating. So I says to myself "Kinda dark in here." And so the mind numbing task of placing lights had begun. Making sure they were all in a straight line. Well of course they are never centered or straight. Cause why would anything ever be that simple? Well unfortunately my modding skills are non-existent and I don't even know where I would begin. Seems like it would be simple to add snap points to the lights and on things such as the rooms or hallways. Anyone know if this is a feasible mod to make?

A mod that simply changes the 111 and other numbers on the back of the vault suits into other Logos from fallout and other sources, Brotherhood of steel logo, institute, Dc and Marvel , and hentai :P you name it A whole pack of images for people to pick from, since people often uses the Vault suit and its modded versions, with enough images it would easily become a top mod.

  13. Hello! I've been messing around for a while with TheKite's CROSS Vault-Tec Slavesuit. I'm trying to get the in-game mods to work with looksmenu morph sliders, but I'm not having any luck. The suit changes fine, but if you add the mesh or plastic cover pieces to it on the work bench, those will ignore in-game body morphs causing your body to clip through them. I think I've narrowed the problem down to how looksmenu and armor interact. It seems that for the .nif files for the covers to be modified, they need to be their own armor pieces attached to nodes on the skeleton. I attempted to separate the covers into their own armor pieces (they have their own separate .nif and .tri files) but quickly realized I'm in way over my head with mod-making. I don't have a huge amount of time to spare messing around and learning to make mods just for this one project so I was hoping someone with more experience could help me out. I just need the slavesuit addons (mesh and plastic covers) from mods to the suit made into their own standalalone armor pieces. If possible, I'd like to preserve the ability to change the colors on the base suit using the workbench but get rid of all the extra piece modifications. So instead of having 6 armor pieces: -Gloves -Collar -SlaveSuit (boots and skirt) -SlaceSuit (Boots) -SlaveSuit (Skirt) -SlaveSuit (base) It will instead have 6 Armor Pieces: -Gloves -Collar -Slavesuit (Boots) -Slavesuit (Base) -Hex-Mesh Covers and Skirt -Plastic Covers and Skirt I know enough about Outfit Studio to make the projects and morph data. I just need a revised ESP and slightly modified .nifs. I'm not the most well articulated around, so I hope this all makes sense.   14. Really love building vaults. The only problem is, sometimes the default rooms with the low ceiling makes the rooms I build feel claustrophobic. I often wish that most of the vault pieces were more like the Atrium pieces, where the ceiling didn't come attached to the walls and you could snap the ceilings on separately. This would actually free me up to build the vault I always wanted... a roomier, more spacious vault with high ceilings. I actually tried building my vault with the SOE vault pack, but in the end it was ultimately useless because: 1) it isn't navmeshed 2) isn't compatible with the Vault-Tec pieces... it doesn't snap on to each other at all so I couldn't connect it to the main entrance of vault 88. So in the end I guess I'm asking for a new mod that adds new Vault-tec pieces that is compatible with the original vault-tec workship items. I also use the vault-tec rooms add on mod where they add rooms like barber rooms, etc... So if you could find a way to fit that in too that would also be great. Also? I'm seriously willing to pay you money for this as added motivation. I'm really serious. :) think of it as a commissioned mod or something.
  15. Hello modders. I would like to make a mod request here. I am hoarding up on and testing Vault-Tec themed mods, with the aim of creating my own storyline, where Vault 111 is actually a recently openned control Vault, joining forces with Vaults 88 and 81 to resettle the Wasteland and restore the country, as "officially" intended (minus the Enclave, of course :ninja: ). Having a Vault-Tec themed texture for them would add to the immersion immensely. One of the authors of the APC and Tank Turrets, ReaperTai, said that they currently lack the capacities to make any such texture, but that they might consider adding it to their mod if it is nice and "all UV mapped" (whatever that means :blush:).Perhaps LoneRaptor would be willing to add it as an option too. I would like to ask the modding community, whether anyone would be so kind as to create a blue and yellow Vault-Tec themed texture for the APC model, preferably one that would resemble recently applied (not totally rusted) paint, in a colour more resembling that of the Vault Jumpsuit, rather than the greyish colour of the vanilla Vault-Tec Power Armor paint scheme. It is meant to be for effect, rather than as a camouflage. A Vault-Tec decal would compliment the texture nicely, if anyone would kindly consider adding it too. I am sure I am not the only one who would use this paint scheme. If anyone could spare time on creating this, I would be very grateful. Thank you.
  16. I'd love to see a mod that does a couple of things. First, it makes the flat Vault 88 room signs snap to each other, top to bottom. Second, I wish there were more room names: Gym Lounge Diner Storage R&D Armory Rec Room Robotics Manufacturing Laboratory Holding If any of this exists somewhere, please direct me! Thanks
  17. I have been thinking of purchasing Nuka World and/or Vault-Tec DLCs and was wondering if there's anything I should know like serious bugs/issues with either one of them before I get them. I had read somewhere that Nuka World possibly broke settlement attacks or something. Appreciate any advice/feedback. Thank you

  19. I tried to find a mod for a blue military helmet or better, blue with the vault-tec symbol. Apparently it doesn't exist on the Nexus. It would be very successful to made this helmet! Thanks!!
  20. Hey, so I want a mod the brings a new vault to the game, Vault 16. This is a vault that has not been explored in canon, unless you count Fallout 1.5. Technically lore wise, I would assume that this Vault would be somewhere in mid California, but I'm not sure where it would be. Vault 16, in my mind would be a control vault, with no GECK. A big atrium, administration offices, security offices, etc. I would like a regular vault 16 jumpsuit, vault 16 security suit, and a utility jumpsuit. If possible I'd like there to be a quest line in order to gain the Overseer's trust and secure entrance in the vault. Perhaps some quests to help the dwellers in the vault and get a player home in the vault with enough room for you and your companions. Also, I would like there to possibly be an upcoming election for Overseer ( a democratic vault, it can happen...) After everything you've done for the vault dwellers, they nominate you, and after becoming Overseer, you would be given a special jumpsuit that adds +25 to speech, and +2 to charisma. Also, upon receiving the Overseer's terminal password, open a secret tunnel under the Overseer's desk leading to an armory with special weapons. I know this is very huge thing to ask, so if some things can't be done, that'll be fine. Thanks for reading.
