. Hello guys! I need help from more experienced modders. Recently there was a launch of psvr2 pc adapter and I wanted to finally play Skyrim, but using this headset there's a major flaw - game is not using the whole headset screen - there are quite big black bars near nose, not rendered, that become visible especially when moving head. They are present in vanilla and modded. When using dlss/glamur it's even worse as instead of black they are a frozen frame of the scene. Tweaking steam fov settings didn't help. So I'm wondering if there a way to tweak vr fov in skyrim ini or using other method? I want to increase X resolution to match headset area. You can see the screen mirror screenshot and the frozen bar on the left (right eye view). Without dlss its black.

Always lots of great eat, drink, sleep mods, but what about other details, in particular challenges unique to space. Also, starting to see O2 mods but not yet use for vacuum tape. Thrilled to see how detailed survival mods are becoming already! I know it’ll be a while before official VR support, but also hoping as survival mods develop the future will allow VR survival interactions, such as physically attaching tape to a leak in one’s suit or doing physical weapon maintenance after the environment disables it. I’d love to see: Suit damage - duct tape repair Critical limb injury - amputations, cybernetics, bleed out if no ship doctor access in time, possible temporary cybernetics failure during electrical storms Hull leak - welding repair, ballistics or explosives may cause leaks, ship interior hostile npcs may avoid this or at low health may purposely target the hull as a kamikaze Suit urine capacity - empty at ship, cartridge emptied in field may lure some life forms/predators Ship waste recycling - botany module Constipation - reduced speed over time without sitting on potty Nausea hazard - puking due to illness etc in a space suit may cause asphyxiation without related helmet vacuum modification Blindness - substances from vents, creatures, or weapons can cover helmet until wiped off unless wipers or blowers installed Deafness - protect hearing from loud weaponfire by adjusting helmet mic volume or installing noise cancelling helmet modifications (like the fo4 mod) Sanity - crew may lose sanity from traumatic events and go postal if left unconsoled or isolated, player may hallucinate (like the fo4 mod) Parasites - infections may cause crew to have erratic behavior, player may randomly move or fire weapons, as mods get more advanced different types of parasites may try to puppeteer to meet different types of criteria for their own spread or lifecycle Boot or suit environmental mods: No heat resistance - standing still melts boots, heat damage No snow/ice traction - snow slows/ice slippery No corrosion resistance - suit decays over time, boots decay faster if acid is stepped in No radiation protection - scanner range reduced and chance of cancer increases over time Low weight - winds may send player flying, but increased speed High weight - wind resistance, but decreased top speed/endurance Weapon buffs/debuffs environmental: Cold - jams mechanical (ballistic) weapon, more likely the longer held without firing as firing generates heat, but cryo weapon damage increased Heat - overheats energy weapons reducing clip sizes, but increases melee weapon damage Radiation - Increases energy weapon damage, but high radiation evolved organisms take less melee damage due to thicker skin or increased mutation Corrosion - Reduces energy weapon durability (if weapon repair mods exist), but increases ballistic weapon damage Lightning - increases electrical damage and electrifies melee weapons, but increases chance to be struck by lightning if holding metallic weapons/objects High O2 - increases fire damage, but drains O2 meter if no helmet in interior cell High gravity - lower ballistic range, weaker melee Low gravity - higher ballistic range, stronger melee High pressure - explosive damage reduced Low pressure - explosive damage increased

Has anyone compiled a list of the Touch controls? There are a few I haven't found, especially Map and Crouch functions. I've always had a custom keyboard setup; VR is really nice but the documentation is pretty sparse as far as what controls and combinations do what. It's all probably buried in some of the prefs files somewhere but my eyes cross trying to parse thru these...

In short, the mod would need to introduce a 3rd person camera in game that outputs to the monitor instead of the current output, which I believe is the left eye of the VR headset. I imagine it goes without saying that the player still need to be able to see through the VR headset. A user could then use a program like OBS to synch the position of this virtual 3rd person camera with a physical camera and play VR in front of a green screen, making it look like they are physically inside the game. This seems like one of those computer issues that is either trivially easy, or impossibly hard. I'm just not sure which it is. I would also appreciate someone pointing me in the right direction to set this up myself. There do not seem to be any tutorials for controlling the in-game camera.

Hello everyone! I've been playing around with modding for Fallout 4 VR lately, but have hit a wall with the weapons mods. After installing three packs of weapons to the game, I noticed a commen thing to all the packs. The grip on rifles and other two handed weapons are off. Instead of holding the grip, most weapons end up being held from the stock. And to be honest, kinda kills the feel of using them. So after looking around on google, I came over a lot posts about VR patches to the weapon packs, which supposedly would fix this problem. But after installing the patches, nothing changed. I'm at this point tired of reading through posts on the web that say the same, and instead I thought I'd ask you fine people if you know a fix for this. Or eventually what I might be doing wrong. Pistols and some sniper rifles work. I tried to line up the yellow line from the compass to show where my hand is holding the gun. First of some that work. And here are some that don't. It seems to be AR rifles that don't work. As shotguns, pistols and smg's seem fine. Special weapons as the gatlinggun also seem fine.Also noticed Winston would be holding the rifle strange at times. So it seems to effect the NPC's. One of the weapons even shot out from my crotch, and wasn't visible in the hand. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- EDIT 6.6.2018: I have yet to figure this problem out and have tried alot of things so far. Might need to do a clean install to potentially fix my problem.

I can no longer enter Diamond City at all. I'm still able to travel inside Home Plate via fast travel. I'm running a lot of mods and I can't figure out which one is the culprit. I think it may be a weapons mod since I've tried disabling all the new lands and new quest mods I downloaded before I noticed the problem. I have a steam forum discussion going on the issue that I'll link to so interested parties can be brought up to speed on the situation. I've tried just about everything and can't fix this, it persists across multiple saves. My plugins list can be found in the steam discussion. What mods are the usual suspects for this type of issue? I spent a lot of time in Far Harbor before I caught this issue so I hadn't been to Diamond City in a long time. This makes it hard for me to figure out which mod is the culprit. I'm playing on the VR version of the game. I tried out Fallout 4 VR recently...I hate the movement controls. Having to teleport around is awful! I can't even fight radroaches on Easy without getting owned. Not having the full freedom of movement is horrible! And then I recently played a game that PROVES the track-pad on the HTC VIVE can be used to move just like a joystick or WASD. The game is called "Ready Player One: Oasis Beta". Its a movie tie in game that was made by HTC VIVE. The game is divided into 3 mini games. One of the games is called "Planet DOOM". And you can "Strafe" as the game calls it. But its EXACTLY what I think Fallout 4 VR should have used! You can actually BACK UP if a fight is a little too tough and you need to shoot while retreating. I don't suppose there's any way to incorporate that into Fallout 4 VR?

So unless I'm completely missing something else, Vortex seems to be using an override in the form .baked and .base in the Fallout config folder. Is there a way to stop vortex from using these and just stick to the originals? I haven't taken write protection off yet but changing the values in game does nothing, and using the tweak tool only saves changes to certain parts of the ini (which I imagine isn't found in Vortex's extras such as UI color). If this has been covered somewhere else my apologies in advance. As it stands I have to reset my values in Bilago's tweak tool and save After I'm done with Vortex, each time.

Hi there, i'm a fan, not a dev.. a cannot make a mod by myself. I play at Skyrim VR, one thing bothered me, the Acceleration of the move speed. not the movespeed himself, just add a kind of delay or make a slower start before the run... When we try to dodge any hit, go back and forward quickly give a bad feeling, the gameplay require it. I saw a mod like that one day, like for modifie the combat and stealth/walk/run animation. but that dosen't work. ( last thing, i didn't find the value on Skyrim config tool) Thanks for read

Hey everyone! I just found out (probably much later than all of you) that Skyrim VR is finally coming to the PC april 3rd. I was curious if anyone is looking into making mods for this version of the game? I know that Bethesda says they are not looking into mod support at the moment BUT I didnt know if maybe it would be easy to retool some existing mods that would allow them to work for this version of Skyrim, I really hope so! If anyone knows anything I would love to hear about it! Thank you! -Chase

A post celebrating the New Year, modified and shared from Vendetta Online's forums to here. Since i'm sure very few are aware of VO, its a space MMO with FPS-centered controls and an orientation towards arcadey combat (unlike, say, E:D, which is closer to simulation style gameplay, or EVE which is more of a management simulation. Both great games in their own right too!). I (Luxen De'Mark, game moderator and modder for VO) am trying to push the community to use NexusMods a bit more for our 'plugins', given the current popular repository we use has no active maintainer (and I like some of Nexus's features). Likewise, it'd be cool if any of you come by and give the game a try, too! Available on PC, Mobile, and select VR platforms. The New Year Partyball is an event to welcome the New Year, being a simultaneous Trivia challenge and Buswar (A free for all combat event where pilots must use the earliest class of ship available), followed by a "lighting of the capital vessels". Many thanks to everyone for helping make our awesome community what it is~ For the trivia event, Adalwolf had the most "first" correct answers with 4, and won a 1-month game key and 400k credits (100k per correct first answer) For the buswar event, DylanH120 had the most kills at an amazing 32 (hot damn!) and won a 1-month game key and 320k credits (10k per kill) For the finale, myself and Twitchy dedicated capital vessels for the vessel "lighting", plus an accidental constellation I /killed; thanks for the contributions, NPCs, and to Twitchy! Twitchy also hosted a pinata party leading up to the last hour, so lots of additional prizes were handed out through that. For that, there were 5 total capships donated, plus a number of subcapital pinatas! Give Twitchy a HUGE round of applause for helping fill in the event for additional time and for helping me keep myself sorted!

Sorry i'm new here and couldn't really find any threads specific to my issue. I'm using Skyrim VR on steam, downloaded SKSE and other mods via Vortex/Nexus. i have the skse loader.exe but it wasn't working and looking for "TESV.exe". i renamed my SkyrimVR.exe file to "TESV.exe" and it seemed to recognize the file no problem. now its not launching and asking me to update skyrim VR. it is up to date. any suggestions? i figured it might be SKSE needing a different version or update, but i just downloaded it and i don't know enough about this stuff to make an educated guess.

It's for VR but this section doesn't seem to be active at all Most of Fallout 4 mods works, but I really enjoy building my own settlements and without those two mods - place anywhere (or there is alternative? I want to build in red zones) and wires through walls are a MUST Anyone can think of solution? Both mods work in my Fallout 4, just not in VR. I found a mod (Place in Red Standalone - VR) and things are in green but still can't place them >___<

Is it possible to mod vr game? I would like to replace some 3d asset in a game for example, tennis, bowling or something similar. Beat saber would be great to. Im planning to buy Quest 2, is it good for modding or should buy something different? I have so little knowhow in this, could you please give me advice on this, is it possible? Thank you very much!!

Hi, I want to enjoy the Hitman 3 in virtual reality, however the fact, that your body does not stick to your Headposition makes me cry. I would throw myself at the feet of whoever creates a mod that allows you to not have the body as the reference point for the character, but rather the head/headset (like in Blade & Sorcery) - even if you leave out the body and only have your hands. Thanks a lot in advance!!! -

Hello, though I have posted this issue in the VR section already, I am posting it here as well, as not many people will frequent the VR section, and this is a question that could be very well answered by someone knowledgeable who only mods for SE. So sorry for reposting. The original post: I'm working on a mod that involves drinking a sleeping potion, and before the player passes out, I want there to be some heavy visual impairment. For this purpose, I made modified versions of the dragon shout modifiers, going heavy on double and blurred vision. This works perfectly fine in SSE, but in VR, only the shade and brightness aspects of an image space modifier are ever applied. None of the other effects. Now, it is pretty clear that this was changed by Bethesda in their worry about us poor players not getting sick. And that may be the case for most players, but I have a steel stomach, and I can take anything for any period of time. Being sent on a ballistic trajectory by a giant? No problem for me. In fact, I enjoy it. So it is really frustrating for me that I can't enjoy the full trippieness of image space modifiers, especially in mods like Skyrim on Skooma. Now, as I see it, there are several possibilities of how the original modifiers could have been changed. Either it's some ini setting, or another (I found one but that one was set the same as SSE), or it is by replacement of some files in the bsa archives – if this is the case, I really don't know where to begin to look – or, worst case scenario, it's a change in the executable itself, in which case it's probably hopeless. Can anyone help?

I've had vortex managing my skyrim vr. But, now, every time I click on the game in Vortex, it acts like it's loading....but does nothing. I've reinstalled and checked for updates with all the mods, but I get a total bumpkiss. Skyrim vr works fine...as long as I don't use Vortex. I'm at a loss as to what's going on. Any help would be appreciated.
