Domacleod
The last time this question was asked was in 2017, I figure 6 years is long enough for the answer to /possibly/ change. Is it possible to install more than one mod? Other games that need to modify the same file usually have a modding program merge their files to allow them to install two mods at once. Is there anything like this for Pillars 1?
Dragon32
IEMod bundles Patchwork and some other mods follow that format. That can handle multiple mods changing the same DLL A lot of other mods are just distributed as a replacement DLL. I don't know why. With those you pick your replacement DLL and that's it. Domacleod
So there isn't a way to pick and choose, either only install one mod or install premade bundles, correct?
Dragon32
Rather use Patchwork and make sure all the mods you choose are set-up to use it Or pick one I don't know of any pre-made bundles. This is only for mods that need to alter Assembly-CSharp.dll but sadly that's a lot. Other mods like "Pallegina's Alternative Portrait" can be installed regardless. jademelrose1
It IS definitely Possible as I have successfully used over 30 mods at the same time!!! However BE CAREFUL about having multiple profiles on Microsoft Windows, Outlook or Edge as this is partially how I LOST ALL OF MY MODS on the preferred mod manager for NeusMods!! Also I have NOT been able to update my Windows 8.1 to Windows 10 and this greatly contributed to my great loss as 8.1 is no longer supported by any of of them. Obviously, I mod using my PC that is practically an antique now. (Started with Windows 7 and had no problems until Windows 10 became mandatory ...) So, YES you can!!! But be very careful about switching between using a mod manager and manually downloading mods as that was my downfall!!! Hope this helps someone out there. I wish someone had warned me. Now I can only use mods that I have never used before, I hope so anyway, Playing with none now; starting over from scratch just trying to earn back basic Berath's Blessings! GOOD LUCK and BE CAREFUL; GO SLOW adding only one at a time is my best advice to one and all, IF you are a novice modder like myself.
