drakeelvin
McCarran Terminal Building, ground floor, there is a door in the southeast corner that is hidden behind one of the escalators -- the door leads to a small lab room where Dr Williams works, and Hildern's office adjoins the lab. I've never heard of any bugs related to him not being there, but I haven't tried to find him since 1.3 came out either. drakeelvin
One thing that comes to mind I heard this quite a long time ago, if the engine can't render landscape fast enough it will crash. One solution is if you start getting lag is to stop moving and let the rendering engine catch up. I also have my character walk in areas of high lag, rather than run. Most of my crashes happen when I'm running, almost never when walking. I also defrag my hard drive periodically just for NV because the game files are pretty huge, and it has helped me. It's totally frustrating but I'd say for Cass its worth it, she's my favorite of the standard companions, always has something sassy to say about nearly everyone and everyplace. Maybe others have some suggestions as well.
