I would want to answer this from 2 perspectives: 1. As a team member I need to ensure that my personal issues do not get in the way of my professional commitments, for this it is also important to keep personal and professional life different, I have seen people having personal relationships at work which often tends to be detrimental. 2. If I see one of my team mates or subordinates going through a personal turmoil, I will try and connect with them to understand the situation and if they want to share most of the times people just want to heard and that solves half of the issues.

Have your team “honor” the problem employee. Bring a card with personal notes from the team. A cup of their favorite coffee and a silly cup or gift that reminds them that “this is only a season, and you all have their back”.

It's important to remember that our personal life should not cross the threshold of the office. Maintaining a clear separation between personal and work activities is key to achieving a healthy balance. Seek activities outside the work environment and avoid involving work too much in your personal spaces to maintain that separation and well-being.
