Celebrate Small Wins: Achieve the first small step, and it’ll give you the courage to take on bigger ones. Reflect on Past Success: Look back at how you’ve overcome similar situations. Be Honest & Careful: Evaluate your plans thoroughly and honestly. Trust Your Gut: Listen to your instincts—they often guide you right. Consult Trusted People: Only discuss with those who truly understand and whom you trust. Sleep on It: Sometimes, taking a break and rethinking with a fresh perspective helps. Visualize Success: Picture your success to align your heart and mind.

Success has peaks and valleys. Transitioning requires you to take a step back and assess the new landscape. Remember you are meant to be where you are and your track record speaks for itself. You don’t need to prove yourself immediately. Journal your accomplishments and map your growth journey. Be decisive. Most importantly, seek feedback from a coach.

Success begets success, at the same time, resting on ones laurels is a sure fire way to start on the path of irrelevance, so you've reached a point in your career journey with smart work, dedication and discipline, what now? Core competencies mostly remain as the fundamentals that defines you, so a strong unshakeable belief in those is step one : no self doubt period. Strategy , tactics and actions of the past are the starting point, conduct a ruthless audit, keep the few which could survive the transition and start beta testing to build new ground up contextual STA's In my experience coaching leaders, this has been the single largest lever for continued success in the new role, as what got you here will not get you there!
