The One Planet network - 10YFP is excited to announce the One Planet Network Forum 2024, taking place on September 12-13th at the Museu do Amanhã in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil! This high-level event, co-hosted by the Government of Brazil and the City of Rio de Janeiro, will bring together government officials at ministerial level, UN officials, private sector representatives, and thought leaders from diverse range of geographies and sectors to explore: “Reducing inequalities and achieving just transitions for all through sustainable consumption and production, including through circular economy”. ♻️ The event will feature: ✅ High-level roundtables ✅ Thematic sessions ✅ Interactive Panel discussions ✅ Exhibition & Agora space showcasing leading actions on SDG12 This event seeks to spotlight solutions and ideas for accelerating action on advancing SDG12 and contributing to the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. ➡ Discover the more details about the event: https://lnkd.in/gtvphCmF

I am honoured and delighted to be invited to represent NATRUE - The International Natural and Organic Cosmetics Association at the One Planet Network Forum in Rio de Janeiro from 12-13 September organised by the UN-Habitat (United Nations Human Settlements Programme) and the UN Environment Programme (UNEP) as part of the One Planet network - 10YFP working towards achieving SDG 12 (responsible consumption and production). The Forum will focus on the theme, ‘Reducing Inequalities and Achieving Just Transitions for All Through Sustainable Consumption and Production, Including Through Circular Economy’, and will run together with the Global Dialogue on Sustainable Consumption and Production (SCP).
