Let's take a look at these innovative and ambitious projects:   🚗 Safety Score & Coach Team (Frederic Ballin, Abir SOUISSI, François Fauvel, Jérôme Godelle, Christian TAFFIN, Jean-Louis Nicaise) Project: Introducing the New Scénic E-Tech electric, the Safety Score & Coach provides a score and advice based on a personalised assessment of your driving safety. Accessible via the openR screen, criteria include compliance with speed limits, following distances, accelerations, and using indicators. They are calculated from radar, cameras, connected maps, and sensors.   🎶 SongPop Team (Simon Hougard, Giorgio Scibilia) Project: Adding a fun twist to the driving experience, SongPop allows all passengers to participate in a collaborative musical quiz. The team created the gameplay, seamlessly integrated it into the openR link interface, and patented technology around joint connections. An exclusive onboard experience by Renault, SongPop was developed in record time (8 months) to ensure safe entertainment even on the move.   🌐 IA Generative Design Team (Ludovic Blanchard, Christophe DEVENEY) Project: The result of collaboration between Renault and start-up DESS-IA, AI Generative Design leverages Artificial Intelligence to revolutionize vehicle part design. Join the future with the TAM project (Trusted Autonomous Mobility)! 🚀 🎯 Launched in January 2021 by IRT SystemX, with the support of ANSSI - Agence nationale de la sécurité des systèmes d'information and the French Automotive Platform (PFA), and the participation of Eviden, Renault Group, IMT, Navya, Oppida, Stellantis, Trialog and Yogoko, TAM aims to ensure the cybersecurity and privacy protection in the context of Cooperative Intelligent Transport Systems (C-ITS) for use cases in autonomous, connected, and cooperative mobility. It addresses the following challenges: • Ensure end-to-end security in the context of multiple actors/operators and multiple wireless connectivity • Maintain a secure cooperative intelligent transport system throughout the vehicle lifecycle • Develop a Misbehavior Detection and Reporting system to detect misbehaving C-ITS stations and report them • Ensure the privacy protection of users and their data • Investigate the impact of cybersecurity on the operational safety and decision-making of autonomous vehicles 🔐 In this context, our cybersecurity solutions are applied to three key use cases: • Collective Perception: Vehicles exchanging perception data. • Cooperative and Coordinated Driving: Vehicles engaging in negotiations for joint decisions. • Cybersecurity Services: PKI protocol, misbehavior detection and reporting. Today, let's put a spotlight on the innovation 'Artificial Intelligence for Zero Fault Validation of Driving Aids,' winner of the 'Small & Smart' Trophy at the last edition of the Renault Frères Innovation Trophies, organised by the Renault Group 🏆 Validating driver assistance systems (ADAS) requires much time and resources. Plans must be validated in every possible situation, involving numerous tests on open roads. The innovation consists of recording driving data, replaying it in the software version of the system, and then analyzing it using artificial intelligence. [#InnovationTrophies] As announced a few days ago, we are delighted and proud to present to you today the Solarbay project, the recipient of the Gold Trophy for Technology at the latest edition of the Renault Frères Innovation Trophies, organized by the Renault Group 🥇 🏆 Unveiled on the new Renault Rafale and Renault Scénic E-Tech electric, Solarbay is an intelligent panoramic glass roof. It becomes opaque or transparent again in segments on demand, using PDLC (Polymer Dispersed Liquid Crystal) technology, controlled by a computer. High-tech, "magical" and useful, Solarbay provides thermal protection, a 30 mm gain in passenger space and an 8 kg weight saving. Renault is the first manufacturer to use this system - developed in partnership with Saint Gobain - with full and partial opacification functions for each segment.
