💬 Meet Simon Dahan, Technical Support Technician, dedicated to helping musicians get the most out of Arturia's innovations—working closely on our latest MIDI controller, the KeyLab mk3. As part of our #SupportTeam, Simon bridges the gap between Product & Development and the musicians who rely on our gear. His role involves translating technical advancements into practical #solutions, drawing from his experience with instruments like the KeyLab Essential mk3 and MiniLab 3. Though his work begins post-release, Simon's understanding of both product and user needs is crucial. He finds #problemsolving and enhancing the #userexperience particularly rewarding, stating, “The most interesting part is understanding the vision behind the product. What features will inspire users?” Simon’s work goes beyond troubleshooting; it’s about constantly improving the users’ experience: “We’re now putting nearly all the knowledge we gather into the FAQ, making it directly accessible to users”. This initiative aims to #empower musicians by providing the information they need and is already showing results. Reflecting on his journey, Simon is proud of his role in bringing the product creators' #vision to life for users. “Discovering new features is always exciting—how can it help musicians create better music, more easily?” As Arturia continues to innovate, he looks forward to helping users make the most of every new tool. 🎉 We're Hiring → https://lnkd.in/dh_vAMeC #customersupport #musictech #employeespotlight

Meet Jonas and Alexandre, two DJ friends who met in Arturia and decided to create their own web radio 📻 It started out with a joke at a party two years ago in Arturia… and now the two DJs and music producers, along with their friend Adrien, have created RTL3, the free-spirited web radio: “la RADIO TOUJOURS LIBR3! ” 🪇 🗨️ “A DJ is someone who shares their discoveries,” says Jonas. “You spend time listening to music, digging for unknown tracks and always keeping on refining your collection. A #radio is about the same thing.” Jonas and Alexandre are convinced that the purpose of music is to be shared. The idea of “scenius” echoes with them: the idea that there is no individual genius. On the contrary, the #scene and crowd make it better. 🗨️ “We wanted to create a place of discussion”, says Alexandre. “When we’re not streaming music, we’re doing live shows. We try to gather people and create a #community with the local artists and DJs.” Arturia itself was their first community, an “ecosystem of musicians” where they found people with similar tastes. And now with RTL3, they can keep on meeting talented music lovers while still collaborating with artists in ARTURIA. Meet Nicolas, our Quality Technician and brilliant drummer who performed at the FESTIVAL MUSILAC this summer. 🥁 After learning about Computer Aided Music by himself, Nicolas joined our Quality Team in 2022. Balancing the technique he learned in Arturia with his passion, he has been writing and playing #drums for 5 years for the band he created with his #soul enthusiast friends: Naphasso. This year, they got selected by the Cuvée Grenobloise, a program of assistance to promising artists. 💬 “With Arturia and Naphasso, I get the feeling I am immersed in the music world. At first I was nervous about joining Arturia’s Quality Team, because they are talented and expert musicians. But thanks to them, I can now understand a lot of things about music that I did not understand before.” 🎶 Nicolas has a lot to teach us as well, after playing at the Musilac Festival this July in France alongside celebrities including Lenny Kravitz and Macklemore. And he doesn’t intend to rest now! Naphasso are currently working on an EP. You can learn more about their music on Instagram and Youtube. 🎉 Join Our Team of Talented People → https://bit.ly/3VNwjUE #arturians #Musilac #musicfestivals

💬 Meet Philippe Cavenel, Embedded Systems Manager & Project Manager for AstroLab! With a blend of technical expertise, project management skills and musical passion, Philippe has led the #AstroLab project from its early stages in 2019 to its successful launch. His role has been crucial in ensuring that every aspect was carefully managed. Reflecting on his journey, Philippe shares: “This project brings together different areas of expertise that I acquired during my initial training - in #computerscience and #electronics - and throughout my career, and which complement my musical knowledge as an amateur pianist. Naturally, I was immediately attracted by the opportunity to put these skills to work on an ambitious project.” Developing AstroLab wasn’t without #challenges. The team faced complex issues like creating an architecture that balanced performance with cost, porting Analog Lab to a Linux-based system, and designing a unique navigation interface. Philippe explains: “We had to invent everything for the AstroLab Connect app, making it a pioneering feature for this type of instrument. Another important innovation was the navigation user interface consisting of a round clickable screen. Finally, another less visible but very useful innovation was the addition of a complete on-board test system in the unit (BIST).” More than 40 professionals contributed to the project, from industrial designers to software experts, with a collaborative spirit that was key to bringing AstroLab to life. Philippe emphasizes the #teameffort: “The product architecture was developed to match Arturia’s expertise, allowing everyone to focus on their roles and ensure seamless integration. The AstroLab is a testament to the collective effort of the entire company.” As Philippe continues to innovate, we support him in his journey and look forward to his future contributions. Bravo, Philippe! 🎉 Join Our Team → https://bit.ly/3VNwjUE #musictech #projectmanagement #engineering

Let’s shine a light on our Software Graphics team today! 🖥️ In charge of developing the graphical user interfaces of our software products (synthesizers, audio effects, etc.), this team of five #engineers collaborates daily with our #productdesigners to bring their vision to life and implement elegant, simple, and intuitive interfaces. The Software Graphics team was created almost two years ago. At the time, our Software team was growing significantly, and we thought its #organization needed to be adjusted to maintain the small, cohesive vibe that had been its success for many years. Manager Pierre-Lin brought together team members, and their collaborative efforts led to the creation of three sub-teams of 4-8 people, including the Software Graphics team. Raynald, Corentin, and Patrick joined the crew, having already been developing and maintaining various GUIs (Graphical User Interfaces) for several years. Pauline, who had recently joined Arturia with a strong background in #GUI development and a motivation to move towards a management position, became the team lead. Last week, the team welcomed Florent, another member with significant experience in GUI development, notably for video games. Shout out to this team for contributing to making our products user-friendly and beautiful! #greatcolleagues #dreamteam #graphicalinterfaces

💬 Meet Julien Viannenc, the Associate Product Manager who supported PolyBrute 12’s development. Dive into the story of turning a bold vision into reality. In 2017, we set out to create an analog polyphonic synthesizer allowing full expressivity, an ambitious goal that involved designing an innovative keybed to match our vision of the product. Determined to achieve this objective, we decided to develop the keybed internally and relied on our expert #engineering team to investigate technological solutions. Julien reflects on the journey: “Designing a keybed is complex. Factors like spring stiffness, key weight, and aftertouch precision are crucial and must endure years of use. We meticulously refined materials and processes to achieve this.” Six years and countless testing hours later, PolyBrute 12 emerged, featuring a patented #FullTouch keybed allowing musicians to subtly but fully express their emotions. On the experience of playing PolyBrute 12 as a musician, Julien shares: “Honestly, it is hard for me to come back to a regular keybed! And I am not saying this because I worked on it; you can do so many crazy things with it.” “I’m thrilled by the feedback we’re getting. It’s motivating and pushes us to take it to the next level. There is always space for #improvement, and we are never tired of trying to fill that space.” This feedback is an incredible achievement for Julien, marking a significant milestone in his new role as Associate Product Manager on his debut project. We're thrilled to support him as he continues to excel! 🎉 Join Our Team → https://bit.ly/3VNwjUE
