[#CSRreport] Our 2023 CSR Report is now available 🌍 Our CSR strategy unveil here the result of a robust industry roadmap for the energy ecosystem. Axens’ business and CSR strategy is driven by 7 key identified United Nations Sustainable Development Goals #UNSGDs, and based upon our commitment to strengthen: ➡️ Employee health and safety. At Axens, these are not simply a matter of compliance; they are vital, fundamental priorities. We are actively engaged in protecting not just our own employees and sites but those of our #customers as well, through continuous improvement assessment. Among main milestones achieved last year in this field, Axens' Willow Island #catalyst production plant in the US state of West Virginia won ISO 45001 certification💡 ➡️ Our product technologies offering, to for instance further produce #renewable chemicals and fuels. These are, conducted with industrial partners, designed to fulfill our customers' regulatory, societal and technological objectives. Through a complete range of solutions for the conversion of oil and biomass to clean fuels, the production and purification of major petrochemical intermediates, the chemical recycling of plastics, for instance, we develop and market all both increasingly eco-efficient and competitive technologies💡 ➡️ Our #energyefficiency solutions, further supporting our #customers in improving the environmental impact of the products and technology our clients use worldwide 💹 ➡️ Accelerate our support to the energy ecosystem through diversifying our offerings via investing in new fields such as #hydrogen, #airtreatment and #watertreatment 💹 Take for instance our #LOCH hydrogen storage and transportation technology, our #Flowvision, #HydroThane activities, our Heurtey Petrochem Solutions electric furnaces solutions, or our energy efficency reference Joint-Venture with ZPJE Nectis, or our DMXtm carbon capture process. ➡️ #Diversity, #equity and #inclusion, a crucial aspect of Axens #HumanResources strategy to drive our growth, as a global industrial player present across 13 sites and offices worldwide. Our commitment is a tangible reflection of our desire to grow as an inclusive team and be a member of the community. We make a daily commitment to take this ambition further through concrete, exemplary actions: in France, we have chosen to devote not just a day but an entire week to women’s rights. In India, Axens has helped to fund the Tara Foundation in supporting and protecting the lives of children ages 2 to 18 and help them succeed academically 🌐 To read our CSR report: https://lnkd.in/enszBh62 And to learn more in our press release: https://lnkd.in/eNCqu8qR

We had the honor of accompanying the French Ambassador to China, Bertrand Lortholary , last week in Changsha, China. This visit was part of a diplomatic delegation to Hunan Province, aimed at fostering stronger cooperation and dialogue between France and Hunan. During the visit, the Ambassador’s delegation toured the Minmetals New Energy Materials factory. In the continuity of the message addressed by the Présidence de la République during the Choose France Summit in May, the Embassador recalled how strategic is the construction of a battery Ecosystem in France, and the importance of the co-investment project between Minmetals New energy Materials - previously named Hunan Changyuan Lico - and Axens, to build an active cathode material production site in the Hauts-de-France Region. [#CrudetoChemicals] In today’s world, the expanding chemical value chain requires superior processing flexibility to shift hydrocarbons from fuels to olefins and aromatics molecules, achieving excellent conversions and yields. ✅ 💭 Beyond choosing their core conversion technology, operators must define the adequate combination of technologies to best serve the conversion, olefins, and aromatics blocks objectives. This choice depends on the petrochemical products mix to be yielded from the selected crude blend qualities and on the project’s profitability targets and environmental goals. 💡 With our highly selective technical solutions and continuously improved high performing and process designs, we’re helping to improve energy efficiency and deploy CTC complex technologies in compliance with even the most stringent carbon footprint reduction objectives, helping our industry to decarbonize sooner. 🔎 Learn more from our experts Sophie Babusiaux and Thierry Leflour in an article first published in Digital Refining / PTQ: https://lnkd.in/eANckfWK Picture credit: PTQ Magazine Digital Refining / PTQ
