🚀Our Baking Center™ Teams around the world are supporting CSR Actions. Let's have a look at an essential iniative launched by Lesaffre Morroco, aimed to help women in precarious situations to acquire new skills through baking 🫱🏻🫲🏾In Morocco, more than 20% of women are in a vulnerable situation: alone and out of work, they still have to look after their children. Lesaffre Morocco decided to take action and invest alongside the Feminist Union of Tanger to help these women in difficulty to enter the professional world and become more economically independent. 🎓Last year, the local teams launched a two-week introduction to baking to start a new life. Thanks to theoretical and practical training at the Baking CenterTM in Casablanca, sixteen women discovered the bakery trade and learned how to make loaves, croissants and moreover. This was followed by a 2-month practical training course on the premises of some of our customers. By involving our customers in this initiative, Lesaffre went the extra step for a better result. 🥖 Baking with Lesaffre First CSR Day for Marketing Team! 🌍 We are proud to have hosted our very first Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Day, focusing on sustainable development and today’s challenges. The day began with an insightful presentation on sustainability from Anne FOVET - Networkcoeur, then a presentation of the Group's CSR strategy and related actions with Jerome Ronze and Karine DELAFAYE, followed by an inspiring panel discussion with key partners: Nele Van Malderen from La Lorraine Bakery Group, Aurélie Girard de Vasson from the FEB, and Antoine Bernabe from Arterris Meunerie. In the afternoon, we spoke about internal Lesaffre initiatives before employees took action to identify concrete CSR actions that will shape our commitments. At #BakingWithLesaffre, we believe sustainability is everyone’s responsibility, and we all need to be mobilized in our respective roles. Our Baking Center™ Teams around the world are supporting CSR Actions. 👉Let's have a look at a long-term initiative launched in Chile, aimed at supporting inclusion through baking 🤝🏽In Chile, 1 in 5 people are said to be in a precarious situation due to their state of health or disability. Promoting the ability of disabled people to work is therefore a major challenge. Lesaffre has made a commitment to the Apertura para el Mañana (Opening to Tomorrow) association to strengthen the bakery training it provides to people with DOWN Syndrome, as part of its inclusive academy. 🚀Our bakery experts have created a "bonus" module to reinforce this training and are helping to promote it to our local professional network to increase the chances of integration for these willing and hopeful disabled people. 📆A 3-year support program is planned to ensure optimum impact. #csractions #bakingcenter #50yearswithbakers #helpinglocalcommunities
