BlaBlaCar integrates train travel in Spain 🇪🇸 , partnering with Renfe and iryo. This initiative marks a new step in our multimodal strategy, which aims to consolidate all sustainable transportation options within a single application. BlaBlaCar thus becomes the first platform in Spain to enable passengers to compare and book seats for carpooling, buses, and trains, simplifying access to shared and sustainable mobility while reducing single-passenger car travel.

🇪🇸 BlaBlaCar Supports the Valencian Community Amid Severe DANA Flooding 🇪🇸 In response to the recent DANA that brought devastating rainfall and flooding to eastern Spain, particularly in the Valencian Community, BlaBlaCar is stepping up to support those impacted by waiving service fees on all trips to and from the region for the next two weeks. As one of our most active regions, with over 1 million members, the Valencian Community holds a special place within our community. To increase travel options for those affected, we are reaching out to drivers across Spain, encouraging them to list any available seats on our platform. Additional journeys mean more accessible and affordable transport options for those who need it most. With emergency measures ongoing, we also urge travelers to stay informed through official channels for the latest updates and to ensure safe travel. We are grateful for the strength of our BlaBlaCar community. Our thoughts are, of course, with the victims and with everyone affected by the flooding.💙

It’s the spookiest time of the year and our offices have been feeling festive. 🎃 In Brazil, we added something sweet to our “Wear Pink” initiative and hid candies around the office. In Spain, we warmed the soul with ghoulishly delicious ramen and good conversation. In Ukraine, we celebrated World Mental Health Day and took a moment to rest during a Halloween-themed art therapy session.
