Last month we welcomed our new apprentices from all over Germany in our central office in Cologne!
For their first days they got a sneak peek of their upcoming and refreshing journey in commercial refrigeration, and they also received all of their equipment for their apprenticeship.
The “Azubis” as the apprentices are called in Germany, got the chance to meet and connect with their fellow colleagues, but they also had the opportunity to meet the leadership, especially the CCR Director of Germany, Lothar Serwas. Through these introductions, they could grasp how much we value our apprentice program at CCR.
And what will happen next? The Azubis will gather knowledge and experiences through the dual system of the apprenticeship: they will learn the theory at the vocational school and get to practice on the field with our service technicians. We have a full team dedicated to them, and we are excited to support them for the next three and a half years.

Letzten Monat begrüßten wir unsere neuen Auszubildenden aus ganz Deutschland in unserer Zentrale in Köln!
In ihren ersten Tagen erhielten sie einen kleinen Einblick in ihre bevorstehende und erfrischende Reise in die gewerbliche Kältetechnik und erhielten außerdem ihre gesamte Ausrüstung für ihre Ausbildung.
Die „Azubis“, wie die Auszubildenden in Deutschland genannt werden, hatten die Gelegenheit, ihre Kollegen kennenzulernen und Kontakte zu knüpfen, aber sie hatten auch die Gelegenheit, die Führung zu treffen, insbesondere den CCR-Direktor für Deutschland, Lothar Serwas. Durch diese Einführungen konnten sie verstehen, wie sehr wir unser Lehrlingsprogramm bei CCR schätzen.
Und was wird als nächstes passieren? Wissen und Erfahrungen sammeln die Azubis durch das duale System der Ausbildung: Sie erlernen die Theorie in der Berufsschule und können mit unseren Servicetechnikern auf dem Feld üben. Wir haben ein komplettes Team, das sich ihnen widmet, und wir freuen uns, sie in den nächsten dreieinhalb Jahren unterstützen zu dürfen.

Meet the Leadership: Tamas Hajagos
Position: Managing Director, Commercial EMEA
Location: Budapest, Hungary
Background: Tamas was born and raised in Hungary. He has an Economy degree from Szt Istvan University and an MBA from Cal State East Bay. He joined us in 2001 in Jaszarokszallas, Hungary, and took part in the acquisition integration of both the Electrolux and the Linde Refrigeration. During his 20+ years tenure with the company he has held various positions including Sales Director, General Manager Southern & Central Europe, Middle East. He assumes his current role as MD of the commercial business in EMEA since April 2022.
Role at CCR: Tamas leads the food retail distribution organization in EMEA and is responsible for shaping the commercial strategy, driving business growth and to manage the day to day business execution with his teams.
Vision for the Future: The commercial organization, under the leadership of Tamas aims to position CCR as a market leader in food retail, providing sustainable solutions, focusing on customer-centric strategies and cutting-edge technologies.
Favorite Quote: "Success in sales is the result of discipline, dedication, and sacrifice."
Hobbies: Avid amateur mountain biker, hiker, and passionate traveler.
Fun Fact: He is an expert at Sudoku.
