🚆 CERTIFER Development in Saudi Arabia: The AlUla Tramway Project! 🌍 Aligned with the #Vision2030 plan, the #AlUla tramway will enhance the Kingdom’s cultural and tourism offerings by connecting archaeological sites and urban areas. Here are some key features of the project: ✔️ 18.3 km double track with 16 stations ✔️Driving at sight ✔️20 trainsets with an option for 5 more ✔️1 depot ✔️7 interlocking areas ✔️Catenaryless system powered by onboard batteries. ✔️Designed for 70 km/h with an operating speed of 50 km/h. CERTIFER will serve as an Independent Safety Assessor (#ISA) / Independent Competent Person (#ICP), ensuring compliance with the #CENELEC safety standards throughout the project lifecycle. Our service will be aligned with phases 3 to 10 to the #EN50126. CERTIFER ISA/ICP general role is to ensure that all safety-related topics are adequately processed and covered throughout the project, from preliminary design up to the final certificate authorising revenue service phase. In a nutshell, our role will be to: ➡️ Assess the different subsystems and system-wide integration. ➡️Focus on safety in rolling stock, signalling, power supply, and maintenance equipment. After an incredible few days at #InnoTrans 2024 in Berlin, I’m returning to Australia with renewed energy and a wealth of knowledge. The event truly lived up to its reputation as the world’s leading trade fair for transport technology. Engaging with industry leaders, cutting-edge companies, and forward-thinking professionals was an honour. Some standout moments included exploring the advancements in digital rail solutions, sustainability initiatives, and the incredible strides being made in autonomous technology. Congratulations as well to Australasian Railway Association (#ARA) who brought a delegation of over 300 local companies to Germany. This was also a great opportunity to connect with our main shareholder #APAVE, in particular Philippe Maillard, Bruno Gstach, Emmanuelle Brunet and Carole BATEAU, to understand the amazing growth opportunities ahead of us in Australia and the rest of the world. We are very excited to be the railway arm of APAVE and looking forward to leveraging their capabilities and reputation. #APAVE is a world leader with over 14,000 employees who have for over 150 years delivered inspection, training, tests-measurements, certification, consulting and technical support services for the transport, energy, automotive, agriculture and manufacturing industries. 🚀 ISA Service for Guarulhos Airport! 🎉 Last week, a third vehicle of the Aerom Mobilidade Sustentável - Tecnologia Aeromovel has arrived at #Guarulhos Airport in #Brazil, which completes the fleet, of now 3 vehicles, 2 for regular operations and 1 in strategic reserve. Each A200 model unit features: ✔️ Two articulated cars measuring 24.7 meters long. ✔️ Amenities including automatic door opening, air conditioning, a fire protection system, and emergency exits at both ends. ✔️ Designed for accessibility and comfort, with ample space for luggage. These trains will provide a people mover service between the train station and the three terminals at Guarulhos Sao Paulo airport. For this client, we provide Independent Safety Assessment (ISA) services for Control Command & Signalling and Rolling Stock. Our responsibility consists in certifying safety compliance with #CENELEC Standards EN50126, 50128, and 50129.
