We're thrilled to welcome Angelo Pilotti to the Centre d'Immunologie de Marseille-Luminy (CIML) as part of the IMMERGE project! https://lnkd.in/dA8cpwj2 As a PhD candidate at CIML, he'll be working in Dr. Philippe Pierre's lab, investigating autoimmunity with a focus on plasmacytoid dendritic cells and their role in interferonopathies. Angelo's research will contribute to our understanding of Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE) and STING-associated vasculopathy in infancy (SAVI), in collaboration with Dr. Frédéric Rieux-Laucat from Institut Imagine in Paris. We're excited to have Angelo on board and look forward to the valuable insights his work will bring to the field of immunology! #WelcomeAngelo #CIML #IMMERGE #Immunology #Research

Excited to announce the publication of the latest research of the Magali Irla lab at CIML in Nature Communications! 🎉🧬 Title: Lymphotoxin limits Foxp3+ regulatory T cell development from Foxp3lo precursors via IL-4 signaling In this study, Alexia Borelli and colleagues have made significant strides in understanding the development of regulatory T cells (Treg), crucial players in immune tolerance. Their work sheds light on the mechanisms regulating the recently identified Foxp3lo precursor pathway. This work has important implications for our understanding of immune tolerance and could potentially lead to new therapeutic approaches for autoimmune diseases and cancer immunotherapy.
