Occupational Health and Safety Day in Mainz, 19. September 2024   "Occupational health and safety clearly demonstrated" - was the theme of the 19. September, on which two departments presented their topics impressively. After the opening of the Occupational Safety Day by the Managing Director Michael Blumbach, the division “Glass and Reaction Systems” held a presentation on the topic "Work-Life Balance" to interested colleagues. There were valuable tips on well-being, self-care, work organization, communication, and relaxation. A practical workshop concerning the correct use of office chairs followed – explaining the context with the help of a spine model to understand the ideas behind.   Almost at the same time, the first colleagues started their excursion to the technical center in Wiesbaden. There, the visitors were welcomed by the process engineering team. After a short briefing, the first experiment started, showing how carbon filters work. The next experimental setup proved the importance and effectiveness using acid gloves. Of course, a tour through the technical center was not to be missed, and the employees impressively explained to their visitors the possibilities the technical center offers to work out best solutions for customers to meet their requirements. In this context, a wide variety of safety equipment in the technical center was also explained, and two plants in operation could be inspected. With many new impressions, the colleagues came back to Mainz after about 2 hours. Two more groups followed, so that a total of sixty colleagues had the opportunity to get to know the technical center and its many possibilities.   In the early afternoon, the exciting day of occupational health and safety came to an end. Two departments had used the opportunity to pass on their own knowledge and experience to the participants from the other areas – this made the day doubly effective, and it shows that occupational health and safety has a high level of importance at De Dietrich Process Systems in Mainz and Wiesbaden!  

Tag des Arbeitsschutzes in Mainz, 19. September 2024   "Arbeitssicherheit und Gesundheitsschutz anschaulich erklärt" - lautete das Motto am 19. September, an dem gleich zwei Fachbereiche ihre Themen eindrucksvoll präsentierten. Nach der Eröffnung des Arbeitsschutztages durch den Geschäftsführer Michael Blumbach hielt der Geschäftsbereich "Glas- und Reaktionssysteme" einen Vortrag zum Thema "Work-Life-Balance" vor interessierten Kolleginnen und Kollegen. Es gab wertvolle Tipps zu Wohlbefinden, Selbstfürsorge, Arbeitsorganisation, Kommunikation und Entspannung. Es folgte ein praktischer Workshop zum richtigen Umgang mit Bürostühlen, bei dem die Zusammenhänge mit Hilfe eines Wirbelsäulenmodells erklärt wurden.   Fast zeitgleich starteten die ersten Kollegen ihre Exkursion zum Technikum in Wiesbaden. Dort wurden die Besucher vom Team der Verfahrenstechnik begrüßt. Nach einer kurzen Einweisung startete der erste Versuch, der zeigte, wie Aktivkohlefilter funktionieren. Der nächste Versuchsaufbau bewies die Bedeutung und Wirksamkeit des Einsatzes von Säurehandschuhen. Natürlich durfte auch ein Rundgang durch das Technikum nicht fehlen und die Mitarbeiter erklärten ihren Besuchern eindrucksvoll, welche Möglichkeiten das Technikum bietet, um für die Kunden die besten Lösungen für ihre Anforderungen zu erarbeiten. In diesem Zusammenhang wurde auch eine Vielzahl von Sicherheitseinrichtungen im Technikum erläutert und es konnten zwei in Betrieb befindliche Anlagen besichtigt werden. Mit vielen neuen Eindrücken kamen die Kollegen nach ca. 2 Stunden wieder nach Mainz zurück. Es folgten zwei weitere Gruppen, so dass insgesamt sechzig Kolleginnen und Kollegen die Möglichkeit hatten, das Technikum und seine vielfältigen Möglichkeiten kennenzulernen.   Am frühen Nachmittag ging der spannende Tag des Arbeitsschutzes zu Ende. Zwei Abteilungen hatten die Gelegenheit genutzt, ihr eigenes Wissen und ihre Erfahrungen an die Teilnehmer aus den anderen Bereichen weiterzugeben – das machte den Tag doppelt effektiv und zeigt, dass Arbeitssicherheit und Gesundheitsschutz bei De Dietrich Process Systems in Mainz und Wiesbaden einen hohen Stellenwert haben!

Recently, members of our Hungary team participated in an immersive first-aid training day, gaining essential skills to effectively manage risk situations.   🧑⚕️ 𝗛𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘀-𝗢𝗻 𝗣𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗲: Our employees were fully involved in practical exercises, from handling simulated emergency scenarios to learning life-saving first-aid techniques.   🔑 𝗖𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗞𝗻𝗼𝘄𝗹𝗲𝗱𝗴𝗲: The training provided our team with the tools and confidence to take immediate action, ensuring they’re ready to protect themselves and others in the workplace.   This day of training is a testament to our unwavering commitment to safety, empowering our team to act when it matters most. Safety is more than a policy, it’s a way of working.   Safety first, always!
