🌍 New EU Air Quality Directive Passed by the European Council 🌍 We are pleased to share that earlier this week, the European Council approved the new, more ambitious Air Quality Directive, bringing it closer to the air quality thresholds recommended by the World Health Organization (WHO). This marks the conclusion of the revision process that began on October 26, 2022, with the first draft proposal. Key highlights of the directive: ◾It recognizes that further reductions in air pollution will bring significant socio-economic benefits 🪙, with the monetized health and environmental gains far exceeding the estimated implementation costs ◾It underscores the importance of enhancing air quality monitoring and strengthening international cooperation 🤝. Indicative measurement, complementing fixed measurements, will play a crucial role in interpreting data 📊 and assessing the geographic distribution of pollution concentrations To assist you in complying with this new directive, we've created tables that outline the thresholds for each pollutant to be achieved by 2030 🎯. L'objectif de l'expérimentation est double : ◾ collecter et analyser des données fiables et hyperlocales sur la qualité de l'air et les flux de mobilité pour mieux comprendre les causes et les conséquences ◾permettre à la Ville de Noisy-le-Grand de valider des hypothèses d’aménagement urbains avant d’adopter des mesures définitives. 2024 marks a turning point for Ecomesure as we launch our CSR initiative! A key first step in this project was conducting our 2023 carbon assessment in partnership with Greenly | Certified B Corp. We had several goals in mind when we decided to launch this initiative:  🔎 Know and understand our carbon footprint 👂Raise our employee's awareness of climate issues 🎯Start thinking about a clear carbon reduction strategy through actionable steps Our results:  336.9 tCO2e in 2023. 👉 This score will allow us to see our long term and short term initiatives come to life.
