Elicit Plan pioneers phytosterol-based solutions to strengthen crop resilience and boost yields amid climate hazards.

À propos

ELICIT PLANT is an AGtech company and a pioneer in the stimulation of field-grown plants through the use of phytosterols. By reducing plant water stress, our patented technology increases yield in situation of lack of water. Elicit Plant develops and provides new effective prevention products against the stress suffered by plants grown by the intake of exogenous phytosterols in the field. Elicit Plant offers a novel solution for reducing water consumption for the cultivation of targeted plants and helps to fight against water stress. Elicit Plants develops a methodology to collect soil, plant development and climate data to quantify the results obtained under real-life conditions.

[Adapting to water stress: a strategic challenge for agriculture🌍] Yesterday, our COO Aymeric Molin spoke at the "State of Agriculture 2025: Climate Change and Competitiveness" conference in France, a key event bringing together experts, researchers, and industry stakeholders to discuss strategies for adapting to climate challenges. During the panel discussion "How are farms adapting to water stress?", moderated by Gabrielle Dufour (Agridées), alongside Guillaume Benoit (French Academy of Agriculture) and Jérôme Leroy (Weenat, La Ferme Digitale), he highlighted that water management is now a critical issue for the competitiveness and sustainability of farms. Access to effective solutions has become essential as extreme weather events become more frequent. In this context, Elicit Plant provides a concrete response with an innovative approach based on phytosterols, helping crops improve water efficiency and secure yields while reducing water consumption by 20%. By integrating these solutions into farming practices, we contribute to making agricultural production more resilient to climate and economic pressures. A big thank you to the organizers for this insightful event, fostering valuable discussions and perspectives for the future of agriculture. #SustainableAgriculture #ClimateAdaptation #WaterStress #AgInnovation #ElicitPlant

🌱 Elicit-Plant in Ukraine: Results and Recommendations for EliGrain-a on Winter Wheat In Ukraine, ELICIT PLANT has successfully registered three products, including our phytosterol-based solutions for crops under water stress. While we’ve discussed Best-a extensively since 2022 and focused on EliSun-a for sunflower in 2023, today we’d like to highlight the results of EliGrain-a trials on winter wheat conducted in 2024. 👉 Two trials were organized: 📌 Kirovograd Region 📌 Dniepro Region Both trials faced extremely hot and dry conditions typical of the 2024 season. Our objectives were twofold: 1. Prove Effectiveness on Winter Wheat: As with all Elicit-Plant products, EliGrain-a is designed to protect yield under water stress. 2. Identify Optimal Application Timing: We tested two application stages: - BBCH 32 (Second node at least 2 cm above the first node) - BBCH 39 (Flag leaf unrolled) ✍️ Results Despite challenging weather conditions, the results align with those observed in France and Poland in previous years: - Kirovograd Region: +500 kg/ha (+7.35% vs control) at BBCH 32 - Dniepro Region: +300 kg/ha (+6.82% vs control) at BBCH 32 The BBCH 32 application stage proved the most effective, as it protects the tillers and spike numbers during early development. However, a later application at BBCH 39 contributed to improved spike fertility. ▶️ Recommendations for Ukraine 1. Southern and Eastern Regions: - Apply EliGrain-a at BBCH 32, as soil water reserves are typically low by this stage. 2. Central and Western Regions: - Assess soil water reserves at BBCH 30-31: - If reserves are sufficient, delay application until BBCH 39 to boost spike fertility. - If reserves are low, apply at BBCH 32 to protect tillers and spike numbers. These findings emphasize the adaptability of EliGrain-a to different environmental conditions and its potential to optimize yields, even in challenging climates. 🌱 Let’s keep innovating to support resilient and sustainable agriculture in Ukraine and beyond! #ElicitPlant #EliGrain #AgricultureInnovation #UkraineFarming #WinterWheat
