🤝 EUROCAE and EUROCONTROL Strengthen Partnership in Aviation #Standards! ✈️ This renewed agreement, which supersedes the previous MoC signed in 2021, marks a new phase in the collaboration between the two organisations and underscores our shared commitment to the continued evolution of European #aviation. 🛫 “This new Memorandum of Cooperation is a testament to our ongoing commitment to collaborate on standardisation matters that are fundamental to the aviation sector. Robust and timely standards are vital to ensuring that European aviation remains safe, efficient and sustainable – both now and in the future”, highlighted Raúl Medina Caballero, Director General of #EUROCONTROL. 🌍 “Standards are the cornerstone of innovation in #ATM. ⚡ Today and tomorrow, we’re hosting the “EMI Management for Very High Power Systems Workshop” at our Headquarters in Paris! As electrification in aircraft and rotorcraft advances, addressing Electromagnetic Interference (#EMI) in very high-power systems has become a key challenge. 🔌 With the rise of both conventional platforms and new technologies like #VTOL, existing #EMC standards may not be fully equipped to address these emerging issues. During this workshop, EMI experts are exploring: the sources and victims of EMI; how EMC #standards need to evolve to support the growing trend of electrification; and ways to integrate high-power systems while ensuring global EMC across all aircraft systems. 💡 This workshop aims to pave the way for the next steps in #standardisation by #EUROCAE Working Groups, ensuring that the aircraft industry can address these new technological challenges.

📢 NEW #EUROCAE PUBLICATION: #ED332   ⚡ Powering the #Future of Aerospace! The rise of electric propulsion and other emerging aerospace applications demands higher embedded electrical power. To maintain safe current levels, increased voltage is necessary.
